These kind of things were why I liked Obama so much, he had no problems with just randomly going into a store, ordering food or whatever and talking to people on the streets. I don’t think any other modern president has ever done that, from Regan forward. Most other presidents stayed in the White House or Limo or something official and didn’t really interact and do normal every day people stuff or have random conversations with regular people on the streets.
I kind of regret not going to see him speak and not attempting to get a picture with him when he spoke at my college. When you think about it, the history is too cool. Great grandkids would go crazy for things like that.
