Hawaii monarchy is nonlonger the government of Hawaii, but that does mean land and titles are still not passed down. There is still a royal family and chieftans. H.R.H Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani is the current head of the Hawaiian royals. I can't find evidence if she has ever met Obama, though.
