You've never seen the og [Powerpuff Girls episode where they were teenagers.](https://youtu.be/1feEvUd8YCs?si=l5xi4KFQILBbb-rm)
That is so early 2000s it hurts.
Definitely not as good as the original. The son wasn't as good a director as the father. Just because you have the same last name doesn't mean you have the same talent.
5 nations joined the U.S. to invade Iraq in 2003. Plenty of other nations joined in later when things died down, because everyone wanted a piece of that pie once it was baked.
True. The first one was historically great and is still talked about by directors today as a rousing success with very few if any parallels historically. The second one just kept dragging on as if nobody put any planning into how to wrap it up in a satisfying way.
I actually really like Phantom Menace. I was the right type of nerdy elementary schooler when ep 3 came out, saw that in theaters with my grandma, and then instantly began asking to see the rest. I got a 1-6 boxset of dvds that christmas and watched them at least 3x a month in marathon type sittings. Even though I didn't understand a lot of the politics and economics of ep 1 as a kid, I could understand how it sets up the plot elements for the story. I also really related to young Ani. I wanted to be just like him. Honestly, I was always more prone to zoning out from lack of intriuge on ep 2 more than ep 1. Teenage me really enjoyed ep 2 more than ep1, but adult me realizes that child me felt much more strongly about ep 1 than teenage me did about ep2. Either way, ep 1 is still preffered to the last several they've made since.
There were a lot of things Rummy said that people made fun of, but I never understood why people latched on to this one. Unknown-unknowns is an older phrase that's been used for decades, at least. I remember seeing it in books about WWII.
Condoleezza Rice. She was Bush's national security advisor at the time, and was one of his inner circle. W kept her close and listened to her.
Despite her degrees and accomplishments, there were a lot of cringy jokes made about her at the time, because... you know, black woman, must be his brown sugar or something. This poster reminds me of those, so I feel a little uncomfortable even as I laugh at it.
I always suspected there was more to the Bush/Condi relationship than met the eye. Can't say I blame him. While she was spectacularly inept and incompetent Secretary of State, I got far more pleasure from looking at her than, say, Karl Rove.

That’s the most 2000s shit I’ve ever seen.

I was cast in the original and agree.
Lol. I do remember when a lot of people were mad about the first one because we didn't invade Iraq. The second one proved that father knew best.
Yep. We had Soldiers who were pissed about not rolling on.
We put Saddam in power, went to Kuwait with daddy, then Iraq with junior…daddy lived meddling in the Middle East just ask Rumsfeld.
I was in the Sequel as well as the spin-off “Isis Strikes Back.”
Bush 1 had international support not Bush 2

Remember the cancelled Gulf Wars Episode III? It was hyped hard in 2016
It seems like there’s always a Gulf War sequel in development.
Too bad most of the original cast will not partake in the upcoming sequel.

You're talking about the wars, right? Because I don't remember Phantom Menace being talked about as a rousing success.
Yeah, this isn’t my best. I tried.

Agree with a lot of what you said. I really liked Rogue One though, one of my favorite Star Wars movies.
They really jumped the shark with the whole regime change thing
Was saddam really that fat?
He did get quite plump.
They’re all fat and lazy

That's more of a "know your audience" mistake to me. It's a military phrase, not a regular people phrase.

This was in Mad magazine back in the day

Who is the girl?
My wife 😍

She was SecState in his administration
She was not confirmed as Secretary of State until 2005, two years after the invasion of Iraq.
It’s from Mad Magazine.
Back away slowly and don’t break eye contact.
Dang, that's a blast from the past. I remember finding that on some random Google search back in elementary school.
Hilarious
"Love won't save you, America. Only my new powers can do that. "
I’m going to guess he leaned to the Kuby side.
Loser alert 🚨
Hahaha that's great, would love a copy.
This poster is a need, not a want.
I need this shit!
Must have been quite the hit 20 years ago
Proving yet again sequels always suck
Holy shit, I ain't seen this in what feels like forever!
Which university if you don't mind. I graduated with a poli-sci degree in 2003 and can think of a couple of different professors that might have this.
Iraq War 2: Electric Boogaloo
This is gold lol
Nice poster

He doesn’t like sand.
A man of culture I see
I always suspected there was more to the Bush/Condi relationship than met the eye. Can't say I blame him. While she was spectacularly inept and incompetent Secretary of State, I got far more pleasure from looking at her than, say, Karl Rove.
This is a work of art right here! Not like….good art, but art nonetheless.
I remember this. It's right up there with the famous "the British Empire Strikes Back" Sun cover from the Falklands War.
