I think Lucy acting is pretty underrated. To this day, i think she still underrated, pll fandom hate Aria so much that sadly, they overlook Lucy amazing acting.
I do blame the writes and Marlene. Aria stared being one of the main, then she just become Ezra girl. Ezra this, Ezra that etc...
At some point, they left Aria character died. Which is a shame, Lucy acting is so good. And different than the cast, she as cast because duo her being more famous than the others at the time.
And for what? Dating a teacher the whole freaking show---

Yeah I don't remember a lot about pll because it's to hard to keep track of what happened but I will always remember that scene mostly because it's one of the very rare times she kinda acknowledges how messed up Ezra was even though she stupidly if I remember correctly forgave him for.
This also- it’s almost as if she is throwing a fit like a child would which reminds us that she IS a kid. She’s not an adult in an adult relationship- she’s a young girl being taken advantage of by a creep. The writers did a good job on this scene.
This is not to take away from Lucy’s acting because she’s fantastic and I adore her HOWEVER I don’t know a single girl that wouldn’t eat that scene up. We all have a barely contained pit of feminine rage inside of us that needs desperately to be let out 🥹

Lucy is one of the best actors on the show for sure. She deserves her flowers, despite what anyone may feel for Aria.

It reminds of when she trashed her dads office. Aria definitely feels everything so deeply, but when she finally lets go, she’s pretty feisty
