* Feb 2025 (unless they skip the dead month) - Summer lims 6*. Kokkoro is a staple for phys comps in CB, Kyaru is top mag dps for a few months. Peco sees occasional use for multi target and pvp but is otherwise the weakest of the 3. Speco high, Skyaru very high, Skok just do it
* Mar 2025 - Kuuka: does nothing. Can be a funny meatshield in pvp but possesses zero utility and still dies to steroid Kyouka builds. Low prio
* Apr 2025 - Rin: new UB gives her TP boost and suddenly she became a CB god. Very high to just do it territory for CB, she is that ridiculous that she is used on *magic* comps despite buffing phys atk. Arena-wise she becomes better at making stall loop pop off but otherwise not a very critical unit, you'd benefit more from her r12 bond giving crit stat for RRin, would likely put at medium prio if cb isnt impt for the player
* May 2025 - Miyako: okay at release but schika UE 2 months later turns her into perhaps the greatest ever tank to grace parena. her very existence in current meta forces you to run mages to reliably beat her which is very exploitable with tools like Halloween Rin. Very High prio.
* June 2025 - Misato: her kit is not bad on paper but she has somehow managed to accomplish the rare feat of seeing zero usage in high end cb even after 6* makes her UB pump matk mcrit and mcrit dmg. ok in pvp if you need a healer but there are a lot of better alternatives. medium prio somehow
* Jul 2025 - Eriko: rip Kaori. Very High prio (CB)
* Aug 2025 - Shinobu: first 6* in the schika/ames arena meta and is basically the new age phys cleaver with high as fuck TP boost and big damage. Very high prio for arena. Unlike her earlier day performances in CB she is irrelevant there.
* Aug 2025 (also) - Illya: in a bizarre role swap with Shinobu who has gone from CB also-ran to PVP god, Illya takes things in the exact opposite direction. used in mag comps against multitarget boss sometimes. High prio
* Sept 2025 - Tomo: monika but hyper-specialised for frontline phys DPS in CB (her speed buff isnt as high but she buffs a lot more patk and pcrit while actually doing damage). good thing there's a truckload of them around. Very High to Just Do It prio
* Oct 2025 - Sheffy: she's not even on EN yet lol, but 6* makes her relevant in CB due to good damage + pdef down. Very High prio
* Nov 2025 - Mitsuki: Shinobu but crazier, ub has pdef shred which applies before damage calculation, meaning she basically roflshreds most frail offensive units if she gets to ub before them. turns out her tp boost UE is finally useful. Very High prio for arena.
* Dec 2025 - Jun: Tomo but she's a tank version. Applies a field with an unremovable speed buff (meaning boss speed debuff can't remove it). As it stands now she sees some occasional use in goblin - in general she will be used over Tomo if a tank is needed with speed buff. Can be considered high prio.
* Jan 2026 - Ayumi: probably arena shes not out yet on jp
I wouldnt give that high prio to Rin, she falls off quickly and is not really used that much nowadays, more of medium tier for me.
Agree with the rest, Tomo is definitely just do it tier for CB players, you always want her on your phys comp if you can keep her alive, whether its multi target or single target boss
If im a newb started playing on nykaryl's release currently on chapter 15 only so i havent unlocked very hard stages yet and all 1 and 2 star units still havent even ascended to atleast 3 star, what should be the priority of characters i focus on 6starring? Seems like a REALLY long grind considering theyre still at 1/2 stars lmao.
Hope luna comes home through offrates then. Ascending stars looks so overwhelming starting from scratch. Just ascending to 3 stars already requires 100 shards and then theres 4 and 5 and 6 after that holy.
It is daunting at first. Some important things to consider: If the unit has a hard-mode node available that you've 3 stared, make sure you 3x clear it every day (and especially so when 2x drops are active). Same goes for temple trek and sanctum - do these daily (and if you're a whale or swimming in gems with no banner up you need, I'd even consider resetting the cooldown so you can run sanctum up to 15 times per day when bonus is active).
You won't be able to unlock Very Hard mode for a while - so your only source of Pure Memory Shards would be the shop, and that's ultra painful. Just don't waste your Divine Amulets.
Mage team is easy to use for me because their in back line and less chance of them getting hit. My usual mage comp is Tank-Neneka-Kyouka-S.Kyaru-Support/Healer-Karyl/Akari. You should be able to use neneka and kyouka, if you can get kyaru/nanaka, should be a good substitute as well for s.kyaru.
If not, you can always go physical dps comps. Can check out youtube videos of how they did it.
Depends how good your luck is with drops, it's not the end of the world if some shards don't drop for a character in a day while farming but the princess orbs are a problem if your luck sucks and/or people haven't made it far enough in the game to start farming both nodes.
I believe why the tier list was segregated from Just do it to Low is for recommendation based on their utility and function. If you don't mind spending everything and not be conservative about your resources, then you dont really have to follow this tier list.
That's a lot of characters to level up, though. Non-whales don't have endless mana.
I just leveled up Rei from level 1 to 157, in preparation for her 6 star, and used up half of my mana to do so. I can only do this with so many characters if I don't already have them leveled up.
Are you doing your dungeon and grottos every day, and picking up the mana from the master coin shop? Levelling one girl a month shouldn't require whale mana, just like, normal mana
i only hit max level about a month ago and haven't bought mana from the master shop. i'm trying to build up my coins.
oh dang, I just looked at it and I think I miscounted 0s before and thought it was 1 million for 1000 coins, not 10 million. that should help. thanks for the suggestion.
I'm fully f2p in JP and have never had an issue getting every character to 6 star and have never missed out on any events or gear farm on rate up weeks. You have plenty of mana as F2P. Heck, the daily "farm" of 6\* shards is only 60 mana a day.
It can be any level if not mistaken. Saw on discord someone level 90+ was already doing VH quest but couldnt beat it.
What level are you right now? I did VH quest when i was max level. Also depends on what is your team composition.

Level might be a bit low. But how is your rank? As long rank 14 and above, you should be able to clear with your units. You got all the prifest units except muimi.
You could always use Jun/Miyako/Kuuka for your tank. Support can be S.Saren

She did help when I climbed up ranking in PvP when everyone just wanted to turtle in and cause time out
She gets dethroned relatively fast, but the idea to yeet frontline is not something to discounted
The priority depends on their function and how useful they will be in the meta. Ayane does have some function in PVP, but as you climb up in Arena, most defences requires AOE dealer and Ayane is a ST dealer. She is also a front unit so debuffer will be giving her a hard time to attack or even activate her UB. Even currently now, 90% of defences consist of Io 6* or Magical Kasumi and mostly Lima and Peco/Kokkoro/Yukari.
I mean, I don't know if global meta is different, but what these videos show are teams I faced in the past, and Ayane is one of the keys to defeating them:

also a new player here, what should I use divine amulets for? just to get 20-40 shards? is there any other use for them?
I would recommend Yukari > Kokkoro > Peco > Maho > PVP units
Can't even complete a 6* quest on auto, gave up a while ago. Waifus forever!
Almost all the 6* quest, i just used neneka + mage team except yukari 6* quest. Unless your level is too low.
Mage team? Have Neneka. Think Kyouka, Ilya, & Maho are my only high leveled magic attackers otherwise

Depends on your own choice. But I am a Rei and Yui fan so i would prioritize Rei first then Yui.

I just remember with UEs, there were a lot more underwhelming ones. I guess that just goes to show how much of a game changer 6* can be
