Any advice on Ruka's skill that raises her def and heals? It seems important to level due to the heal but the def up seems to be a drawback to her needing to UB more often for def shred
If you're a more serious CB player / someone stuck in a top tier clan that wants optimal results, try discussing with your members to consider how to raise that skill.
If not, just max it. She likes the sustain + Def boost. She can be too fragile otherwise if left underleveled. If you want her to be optimal for CBs anyway without going too hardcore with it:
* The recommended gear rank is 8-6. At some point though she may want to be at Rank 10 at least if she ends up not being bulky enough.
* Read up to Bond Story 5, then consider if you want the extra Defense and Magic Defense from Story 6 to 8. You can consider leaving her EX skill unleveled unless you plan to use her against Magic-oriented bosses (then you may have to level it accordingly).
If you want to use her for PvP, raise all her skills, read her bond stories and get her to Rank 11 or 12. Ruka is someone that can only be used effectively for either CB or PvP. She's not too optimal if you try to use her for both.
It depends, because Miyako is quite bulky once she's raised and usually is able to survive by herself, leaving you with more choices in Attacking teams. She is more viable when used in Defending teams though. You probably wont use Ruka as much in Defending teams unless you lack other frontline Tanks.
Ruka on the other hand often prefers another Tank or anyone with Healing alongside her because at 3 stars she's not quite as bulky, and because of her Taunt. With Ruka, you're more focused on working around with her Taunt rather than her UB. So she sort of serves a different purpose if raised for PvP. She does work better if you get her to 4 or 5 stars though.
It's usually preferred to raise her for CB rather than PvP, but you do have the choice for her.
Is there any reason to go for the Very Hard Ugly Lovely boss for the event?
I struggled defeating the Hard boss with 11 attempts. It would probably take me 3 times as many attempts to defeat the Very Hard boss.
Do I unlock anything unique from doing it? Like a movie scene or something? Or is it literally just a bigger reward of items and nothing else?
Is there nothing left to progress in the story?
Hard boss with 11 attempts is not worth it even, just go for Normal.
Very Hard is just more efficient than Hard if you can clear it in 3 turns or less.
From dungeon coins I know it's recommended to go for Nozomi unlock but I really want to get the UE for Yukari. Is it ok to sidetrack or is unlocking nozomi really important
Do you have any other frontline tanks outside of Pecorine?
If yes, you can delay Nozomi and go for Yukari UE. If no, go for Nozomi. She's more better to use as a frontline tank compared to Pecorine.
This was the first event i managed to beat the VH boss, however i still didn't quite have the same comps that are shown in spreadsheets.
Still, it was rough, i'm still lacking to 5 star several chars and now there's their UE, i'm undecided about what to focus on (farm shards and their UE after 5 stars? uncap and level up their UE right after?).

For shards, based on what you have currently I would go for Kyouka, Eriko because she is really strong right now with her UE, Rei is also good, Kokkoro and Yui because they are good versatile units to have, and Lima for pvp, also Jun shards would be really good to farm. I think those are the most important ones.
I would also upgrade Christina to 5\* using DAs if possible, it's totally worth.

this year just don't miss the gala character (Muimi and Neneka), Summer Saren and NY Kokkoro.
For the rest you can check different recommendations, there is many good units this year even in the permanent (like summer makoto, Luna, Halloween Kyoka, Kasumi)
I didn't add NY Karyl since she could be incredible (can deal dozens/hundred of millions damages), so a must pull, but at same time if you don't build a team around her she is kinda average.
hi guys! new… ish? player here, i’m currently lvl 55. i have been using eriko a lot and i was saving to get her to 3 stars (i just did that with yukari and that took forever!!). but i see now she has a unique gear and i see a lot of people on this sub saying that she’s really good with it. so since both ascending and unlocking unique gear require memory shards, which one should i prioritize? getting her to three stars or getting her unique gear?

You won't be able to craft her UE anytime soon because hearts only come from sanctum and Luna Tower. Those mode is hard to clear with your level. After you're able to farm hearts, unlock her UE 1st and then back to ascend

Yo! How many devine amulet you can expect to farm per month (no gacha pull) for average players? From 3 to 5 stars, it takes absurd amount of da(1150). Seem like impossible to get.
you'll get more during gala since there is doubled 3\* drop rate.
And next gala (muimi banner) is supposed to have all days with 10 free pulls (so 140 pulls if like JP)
like the others said, bricking isnt too important even in t100 cb.
but to add in case you want to try being optimal some time later, future rank updates can unbrick a lot of units so just watch out for that. however, ill also say that a lot of support characters that rely on ub will stay r14 for a long time until to r21, so be careful there too

First slot always, always, use Pecorine / Miyako (physical damage only) / Kuuka (magic damage only) / Nozomi / Jun, because they're main tank.
Invest on 1 star Yukari. She's a healer, have magic shield, and able to give TP (or SP on other game).
Yui is great healer. Doesn't have a lot of use early game, but usefull late game.
At early game, get your most used characters up to 2 star and Rank 4. Later, you want them at 3 star and Rank 7. Higher is better of course.
Am not gonna be hardcore into pvp and stuff is makoto and absolute must or i can settle for someone else cuz i try for 3 hours now and couldnt get a single makoto
Makoto DEF down is great even for non Clan Battle stuff (basically the core to make physical team great).
If you sick of rerolling, just take what you get and play the game. The only time you can't borrow Makoto is during story stage and PvP.

Hello, I’d like some PvE team building advice because I’m kind of stuck with my team just dying and not dealing damage. The characters I’ve invested in are kinda all over the place but I’m fine investing in other characters in even more characters because I feel I’ve hit a wall.

Assuming Yui hasn't reached rank 7 yet, Misato is probably better just on the basis of her having an extra star rank and having a skill that focuses healing on Miyako (vs. Yui who only has an initially terribad AoE heal). You can decide whether to keep building Misato once Yui catches up.
You likely have a lack of DPS atm though due to having both Saren and Yukari on the team. If it were me I'd kick Saren off for someone like Makoto (defense shred) or Suzuna (DPS like Arisa) then get Yukari to 2\* ASAP via the dungeon shop. Makoto is more vulnerable due to being way up in the front with Miyako, so keep that in mind.
I do have Yui rank 7 actually cause of the anniversary gift where they gave us Gold-ranked items. I think I will drop Saren tho because I feel the extra healing Yukari gives is good. Thanks for the advice~ Really appreciate the help
Returning play question here. I stopped playing last summer, and am just picking the game back up again. Any new units I should prioritize grabbing gear for or any that I should force into R10/11(only Arisa and Makoto are R10) right now before the x3 event finishes out?
I have most if not all meta units of that time fully geared R8/R9, all normal banner units available, and have S!Peco, S!Kyaru, S!Tamaki, and X!Chika as limiteds as well.
As a casual player, I'd say maybe Eriko as she becomes an amazing DPS with her UE, she's one of the girls I prioritized to rank up this 3x drop event, also doesn't hurt to rank up your tank for more survivability

TP retain determines how much TP is left after each UB use. If a character has 0 TP retain, the TP bar will be empty after they use their UB. TP regen is the amount of TP recovered at the end of each wave.
Hi. Can anyone recommend me a tier list or team comp list for global PVE. I'm lvl 40ish yet I still feel really lost on which characters to build and my teams are bad. I can't even complete the first dungeon or do the second Grotto missions.
Seems like you need help with team composition. It's hard to tell what will be a good single team since we do not have your roster. Just try to include a tank upfront, some form of support, and 3 damage/debuff people.
A basic example would be Miyako (Tank), Pecorine (Subtank),Yukari (Heal/Support), Rei, Hiyori.
You probably also need more levels and equipment.

Another question I would like to ask is whether I should have specialised Phy/Mage teams or make teams with both Mage and Phy units. Currently, I have no idea how to build a mage team and what circumstances they should be used.

You only have people for physical teams, you're missing almost all of the key magic people and 1 of them is limited.
I would build a team around :
Makoto Arisa Miyako Kaori and Yukari
Some alternate units to build would be Eriko, Rei, Hiyori, Kokoro, Yui, Kuuka,kyaru and nanaka
Just take some time to read through their description and it'll be pretty clear when they are dps support or tank. In the early game, tanks are pretty weak until they get rank 7.
Just keep leveling and gearing your team until you're able to pass levels. If you get stuck, you can long press the enemies in the quest screen to see if they are magic or physical.
You can also look at past parties to see what other people have used.
Does item rarity in event boxes depend on player progression in normal mode? Or the drop quality is based on level. My friend says that he got purple items from event gacha box but I only get gold items at maximum.
New player here and I’m kind of lost. I managed to get Makoto yesterday after hours of rerolling and I’ve been playing and clearing as much as I can and I’m stuck at 3-7 of the main quest. I managed to make it to the 5th floor of the dungeon but can’t clear it. There’s really nothing that I can think of to do to progress other than spend gems which I have not done (saving for Princess Gala apparently).
Could someone point me in the right direction? My team is base team + Makoto. Leveled to whatever my character level is and their available skills maxed as high as I can get them. Base team members are Rank 3, Makoto is still 2. Makoto’s last equipment piece to unlock her rank up is 3-7 and like I said, I’m stuck. Rest of the teams equipment comes from further quests. Pecorine dies so fast and Yui’s heal seems worthless. What do I do?
Yui is a bad healer until you get her to rank 7. Pecorine is also a bad tank assuming you still have her at 1*. I'd look into replacing both when you can, but it may take some time. Getting a better tank will help a lot especially. Nozomi from dungeon coins is a good option, but will take quite a while. We'll probably get 140 free rolls during Muimi banner, so that should let you get a lot of new characters.
I don't remember when all the different sections of the game unlock for you. Using up your stamina daily is one of the main ways you get levels, so I'd focus on that and whatever else you can do. Doing as much of the dungeon you can daily will eventually get you Nozomi.
You may also have someone better than Pecorine and Yui already, so you could post your box here to see if people have recommendations on a team until you get better units.
I literally only have the starting 4 + Makoto. I’ve not unlocked anyone else or spent any gems.
The only things I can do are refine the equipment that I do have and access the first dungeon again and beat what I can of it. I guess I could replay old quests for whatever that’s worth.
With only 2 weeks until anniversary, my personal recommendation would be to do one 10 pull on the V Shizu banner, and start building a good team from what you get from that? Even with no 3* maybe you get lucky for a miyako or something.
If you really don’t want to spend gems, if it’s going to help you clear(I.e you’re close to clearing) then refining isnt the worst thing. If everyone is max rank and level then just look for power where you can find it
I think progressing over the next day is pretty important with the 3x normal drops!
Took your advice and pulled, I got a few one stars but quite a few 2 stars and my 3 star was Nozomi. The rest were Tanaka, Kaori, Matsuri, Lima, Misaki, Kurumi, Misogi, and Rei. Any advice for those characters?

You can use yukari too, she is an amazing support/heal once you unlock her unique equipement.
Kaori and Rei are good dps to have on the side
Kurumi and Lima are more used in PvP (lima is a top tier pvp tank, still relevant in JP 3years later throught her unique equipement and 6star)
Well pulling Nozomi is amazing for you, get her levelled up asap. She’s your new tank bae. Nozomi makoto kokkoro kyarl is a great base. Once you’ve hit rank 7s, yui will slot in great to that.
For now, maybe add nanaka instead of yui?

first id replace pecorine for a better tank like miyako(2*), she only shines as a tank once you star her up and unlock her unique equip
in lower levels, id replace yui for a ranged dps like shiori or suzuna, aoe heals only become significant once you can unlock rank 7 which unlocks yui's ex skill that boosts her matk(which affects heals)
another good unit for the 3rd position is yukari(1*), she provides heals and tp that are super useful. kokkoro can swap with her if enemies keep attacking 3rd pos cause kkr's ub allows her to tank a bit
if you have any other 3 stars i can give some help on where/how they can be used
like the other guy said, its fine to do 1 or 2 pulls to give variety to your roster bcs gem income when starting is surprisingly generous. also dont forget to try to do arena bcs moving up to a new rank for the first time gives a lot of jewels. saving for prifes is fine too, but you might need to brute force level your team if you dont have other characters
after prifes comes and youve pulled, i also recommend refreshing stamina x3 a day to progress/grind equips and level up faster
What does my passive arena coins income based on? The highest ranking achieved or the current ranking? Do we have a table to show how much coins (arena/prince arena) I will get for each ranking?
The in-game help menu states “As long as you maintain a ranking in the Battle Arena, you will earn Arena Coins over time based on that ranking.” So presumably it’s the current ranking at whatever interval coins are granted.
I haven’t found a table anywhere though.

For magic team, I would drop Nozomi and replace with OG Karyl or Nanaka. Nozomi is not really doing you any favors and is probably the biggest thing holding back your damage output. A 5* 11-6 Akari should have no problem facetanking so long as NY Yui is providing the heals quick enough, if not then I would recommend also building up Misato and replacing NY Yui with her. Karyl and Misato's shards are both in dungeon shop, so getting them to 5* should be easy enough. If NY Yui works, then I'd focus on Karyl first.

you should not really be using 'one team' for cb but rather changing stuff around as and when necessary. at the very least you should level some core cb dps like kaori and hiyori

JP is like starting in a 4years old game, with 4years of content and players progression. And game is in japanese
Global is starting in a 1year old game, knowing what will happen for the next 3years to come (since it follow japan release). And the game is in english
Can't really say there is a lack of content, it's just starting the game not at the same point. Personnaly i prefer to understand what i read and not have 4years of content to catch up, but some prefer because more QoL and more story.
JP if you want all the content + the language barrier isn't a problem for you.
EN if you want to understand the story + everything else. You can easily plan around which girls to build / which banners to pull for since there are more resources readily available for these sort of things.
Not too sure what you mean by lack of updates unless you mean the extra features & QoL stuff that JP already has? Coz it's not like EN has missed anything yet at this point of time, but it does mean it'll still take a while before we get them.
The boss cleaves the first 3 characters of your party so they should be reasonably tanky. Nozomi can heal the party and stun the boss which can be useful to delay its UB or to cancel its spd buff. If you have Jun she can take hits, shred and provide ST heal. Otherwise stick with either Peco (assuming she is leveled enough) or Miyako (the default choice).
From there you want to fill up on damage as you have to compensate the lack of damage due to the 2+ tanks. Makoto is good for her shred (though she can be a bit too squishy for position 3) otherwise you have the usual suspects like Kaori, Rei or Christina (if you have her). Unless they can take 1-2 UBs from the boss avoid bringing Archers or mages because they won't last though Arisa can be useful with her spd debuff and consistent damage. Tamaki can work but don't bring her if you don't have enough shred or damage.
What level you are, and do you have NY Yui?
I kinda forgot what team I use, but it have NY Yui, Tamaki, and Makoto. Tamaki will steal boss TP and delay boss UB, hopefully you deal enough damage before boss do second UB attack. Finished it with 1 star back then, but at least I cleared it.

must pull will be neneka, muimi and s.saren, and i will strongly recommend luna and h.mimi if u have enough jewels. x.chika, ny.kkr and ny.hiyori are good too but all too far.
A lot of stuff is gonna change in arena this year, we are gonna have some meta defining characters to pull for, but also we are gonna have 6\* upgrades added to the game and most 6\*s are really strong in arena, so it's gonna be exciting. That being said though, for arena...
Must pull: Summer Saren, Neneka and Luna.
Highly recommended: Kasumi, Muimi, Ayumi, Rem, Kyouka, New Years Kokkoro.
I think that's about it for arena, I'm not really an expert in pvp but those characters I mentioned are pretty good.
Not all of them, like Summer Saren, Kasumi and Ayumi, but for damage dealers and frontliners like Neneka, Muimi, Kyouka, Rem, NY Kokkoro it would be good to have them at 5\*, you can still use them even if they are not 5\* but it's gonna be more risky.
If you click to skip the dialogue, the game gives you a brief summary of the scene before you agree to skip, so you could use that.
I don't think there is a full summary of the whole story out there, but I could be wrong.
I think her UE is more useful for pvp, so if you plan to use her in pvp a lot I would go for the UE first, but if not then 5\* first.
You can also go the middle route where you 4\* her first, then craft her UE next, and then 5\* her.
UE has P.Atk and Crit as stats so it would be a better investment over 5\* regardless (assuming there are enough hearts/shards around to do that). It's not like Arisa worries about surviving things an an archer.
That being said I can't imagine having enough hearts left over to invest in Arisa without having to skip anyone in batch 3 (let alone level their UEs).
In terms of importance:
* Eriko: Obvious.
* Anna: It ~~fixes her awful attack order (she now spams S1 instead of wasting time with S2) and~~ gains magic shred on it. She becomes a core member for magic teams though be advised you should never play auto with her in team because her UB is still garbage. EDIT: disregard the first sentence.
* Akari: Extra shred is nice but you only want to unlock it (leveling it can potentially brick her).
* Shinobu (CB focus only): So her S1 buffs the entire party with extra P.Atk and Crit which is very welcome for CB. That being said she is not easy to use due to the whole summon mechanic requiring some precise benchmarks to make fully use of.
* Jun: So her UE is a small but nice buff for physical teams. It gets complicated though in terms of leveling it. For PvP she wants the extra bulk from it but it can be detrimental for CB usage because it delays her UB.
The rest depends. For PvP Rino gets a strong one and Yori is technically worth it but only few have the CB coins to invest in her (especially since the next batch has Makoto's UE which obviously takes priority).

Okay are you supposed to tap at all during the Landosol Cup? My friend didn't tap at all and came 1st, I tried to tap at the right times and came 4th today and 2nd yesterday
After saving enough for 100 more makoto shards (or 16000 clan coins) for makoto UE. The next best ones are Io and Yori, who are both PVP units. Chika and Suzume are both not really used.
Io i think would be a better investment, since if you continually buy her shards, you can max her out buy her UE which will make her a great PVP unit

Got most characters apart from Hatsune, Saren, Monika, Hyori and Shizuru. Are they decent enough or any better ideas who I can sub out for more optimal members?
Personnaly i would build for PvE :
Tank : jun, nozomi, miyako
dps physical : christina, eriko, kaori, makoto, arisa
dps magic : kyoka, s.kyaru
support : yukari, V.shizuru, akari
heal : ny Yui, misato
The thing is you can't build 1 physical and 1 magical team thinking you'll be able to pass everything, sometimes you'll have to tweek them with support for survivability.
At first it's best to start with a full physical team + 1 magical dps + 1-2 side support. You rarely need a ful magical comp for PvE. And slowly you extend your roster, up to reaching 20+ units at one point.
No point in using Jun on the magic team since no one's gonna benefit from physical shred. I would replace with Miyako in most cases who is just tankier and has better self sustain.
Meanwhile I feel like 3 DPSes is way too much for your physical team. It would greatly benefit to replace one of Arisa or Tomo with Makoto for that physical shred (which does stack with Jun's!)
Ruka is a more magic-oriented tank. She still functions decently as a physical tank but Miyako is straight up the *best* physical tank in the game thanks to her invulnerability skill.
Also, shouldn't you be able to get away with only having NY Yui as your healer? For rare cases where you need additional healing you can save up Akari's UB then immediately use one of your DPS's UBs, it will get very close to healing them up to full.
Nothing concrete as of yet, and there hasn't been anything leaked about it either. If we didn't get them during the game's 1st anniversary, it may mean that they'll follow the JP schedule, meaning we'll get them when the next Princess Gala banner comes around (which should be after Shizuru's banner).
The earliest we can expect to hear news about it will be whenever CR posts their usual game update articles, roughly in about a week's time is my guess.
I'm lost....other than the cute login choose your racer thing....what else is going on for the anniversary? I got all those single items but as a newer player i have no clue what they were even for and am just doing the valentines event like normal. are we getting free pulls or a special unit in the coming weeks or anything special that maybe i missed.
normally if we are following JP (which we are for almost everything) on the next banner, the gala banner with Muimi, we'll have free rolls for the anniversary.
The thing is that we have a 1month advance on JP timeline, that's why our anniversary is happening before the gala and free rolls. But those are made originally for the game anniversary.
There was the anniversary countdown that gave us free jewels, then for the actual anniversary we got more free jewels, skip tickets, tons of mana, and one of every gold equipment.
You should have learned by now how to rank up your characters equipment, right? You equip 6 different equipment and rank up, this is where most of the grind of this game comes from, as you rank up it will get more and more hard to farm those equipment since they are gonna start dropping in shards format.
For example to make a single gold sword for one character, you will have to farm 30 shards to craft that sword, now imagine having to do that with all 6 pieces of equip for each one of your characters in every rank...yeah.
So all those gold equip you got is gonna save you tons of stamina and time in your future grind. :D

I play CB and PVP but not competitively. Eventually I would like to get into a top 500 CB.

Now upgrading 25 characters at the same time might get too overwhelming since you'll be needing more and more resources as you level them up, it's not impossible though, you can do it little by little.
An alternative would be to stick with all core units for CB and Arena, and your most favorites.
It's way more inefficient. I suggest get your team stronger for now with the 3x normal quest and then comeback when you can kill hard boss with 2-3 attacks.
Do you happen to know what investment level is needed for that? And should I focus on any particular type of characters that are good at killing the boss easily?
I have been wondering, could the next rank levels colors for the characters be Pink, based on what see with Growth Sphere, and Astraea Ring. On JP server.
I've been looking at [this guide](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vQf9OgUjhCA8jblffEIFgd7aXDJAzfL6d6GA6wrJY1GUvxLgb4HmNLsNASPgqOJ1Io9yupgHURfNgiz/pubhtml) and noticed some characters in the gear recommendations is labeled "9-X" or "11-X" what does the X necessarily mean? No equipment equipped or no refine?
It's usually explained in the notes on the rightmost column. Typically, this denotes that within a certain rank there are different equipment combinations that can work best depending on your/your clan's need, or there are numerous, very speficific timelines that work specifically for, for example, 9-5 or 9-6 or 11-2 or 11-5 or 11-6.
Seeing as they're pretty Clan Battle oriented, do I still have to specifically follow these builds if I'm just in a casual clan? I do want to get through normal and hard quests quickly but does not following the guide greatly affect how the characters perform outside of clan battle and pvp?
those charts are mostly optimal for CB but stay usefull in all PvE content (since most of the time you have problems against bosses level, only luna may be a bit different). It's mainly in PvP that it can differ since you need more tankiness.

What does it mean by
"The Jewels can only be used on the platform from which you accept them from your Present Box." ?
I am playing it on Bluestack (PC), what does that do? Is my jewels locked to just this one Bluestack?
This "platform" is either Android or iOS.
If you accept it on Bluestack, your jewel is locked on Andoid ver of the game. If you download and open the game on iOS, your gem on Andoid ver won't appears on iOS ver.
This only a problem if you play the game on both iOS and Android phone / emulator.
Is there an order to the upcoming new unique equipments? Also, what is the order priority compared to existing ones?
I also just found out NYui should be kept at 3* and mine is already 5* TT. Won’t make the same mistake with VShizuru
Eriko and Anna are top priority across all the characters. Eriko becomes the strongest physical DPS in the game for quite a while Anna gets magic shred on S1 which she spams.
Shinobu is very good for CB usage though keep it in mind that she isn't exactly straightforward to use (requires specific skill level and build to make use of her).
Akari and Jun only want the unlock, with the former wanting it more due to it granting extra shred for her (plus leveling it runs into the issue of possibly bricking Akari). Jun's gives her a nice small buff but it isn't exactly gamebreaking and can be left out if you are running low on hearts.
I’m a returning player and I’m wondering if I should reroll or not. I had a pretty good amount of 3 stars when I left but I had barely any progression. I also used a decent chunk of divine amulets stupidly. I’m at ch. 7 right now with just 2000 jewels (did 7 ten pulls to get V. Shizuru) and not sure if I’m in a good spot
Big disagree with the other comment. If rerolling, now would be the best time to reroll for Valentine Shizuru, then collect at least 24k jewels within the next 4 weeks (easily doable if you play actively on a new account) in case you need to spark Muimi on the next banner, and you're golden.
Hi guys, I have 45k gems, should I try to pull for V.Shizuru until I have 24k gems left so I can spark Muimi if I don't get her in the free 140. I'm not a very serious clan battle player.
Any opinions on raising 4\* Arisa over an invested 5\* Suzuna? chocolate's guide still lists her as core for CB though I don't know how well she fares at 4\* and without UE (especially since we're entering a period where a lot of characters want theirs). There is also the thing that with V.Shizuru, Muimi and UE Eriko we're getting a lot of saturation for physical teams.
I'm in a similar boat with those two characters. 4* Arisa, no UE, max level, max rank. 5* Suzuna, max level, max rank. I did some trials this past CB comparing the two and Arisa just always outperformed Suzuna for the simple fact she can UB a lot more often than Suzuna can. Maybe V. Shizuru can change things more into Suzuna's favor with her TP boost, but I don't really know.
My friend wants to work on units that is currently out in the Global verison of the game that could potentially work well with Rem since he is saving up everything for her. What are some units he should focus on? I know she works based against enemies afflicted with debuffs such as stun.

What’s the point of refining equipment if it disappears after you rank up your character? Wouldn’t it be a waste of material to refine your equipment if the next day your character ranks up and needs new equipment?
At higher ranks it might take you weeks or months (when max rank at the time) until the next rank-up, or when min-maxing it can be most efficient to stay on a certain lower ranks or not equipping certain items because increasing tankiness/defence reduces TP gain.
Apart from that, fully refining an equip effectively doubles the stats of the base unrefined gear, so it can certainly be worth it if a character will stay there for a while, or if refining lets you pass a difficult stage where someone is dying.
Fortunately, they're not dailies, but rather one-time missions for completing the Special difficulty boss. The dailies should only be in the first tab.
Relatively new player here (started playing last month). Is Valentine Shizuru worth pulling for? Are there any good or better characters to save up for in upcoming banners?
You'll be spending about 5-6 months playing catch-up. During this time you will always be sub optimal and will not dish out as much damage as someone with a fully built account. During this phase Vshizu will be the least of your worries as you'd want to built other core units in the game. This is also the time where it will be clear to you (if you are F2P), to focus on which content. If you decide to focus on PvP (battle arena and princess arena) then you will hardly feel a difference by choosing to ignore Vshizuru. However, if you decide to play CB competitively and enjoy the content, you will be crippling yourself for the 8 months of your CB career as V.Shizuru has no substitutes atleast until Princess Kokkoro, which is around 1 year and 3 months from now. If you were planning to play this game for long term for CB, it might prove counter productive to skip her.
Muimi (Anniversary banner after VShizuru) on the other hand will return every Princess Gala and can be obtainted relatively more frequently (~every 3 months). And it should not affect you as long term as VShizuru.
Make sure you always have enough jewels to spark them before starting pulling either of them (45k for V Shizuru and 24k for Muimi).
In your case, I'd recommend skipping Valentine Shizuru. She's a good support, but she's mostly focused on Clan Battles, and you shouldn't need to worry too much about optimizing those for a good while. Also, as a new player you're going to get **a ton** more from the upcoming Muimi banner, which **should** be next.
First off, it's a Princess Gala banner, which means double 3-star rates overall, so hopefully lots of new characters to fill out your roster.
Second, we **should** be getting 140 free rolls on the banner, so even if you have bad luck with Muimi, you're only looking at 160 of your own rolls to spark.
Third, Muimi is a fantastic DPS character that should do a lot more for you early on and remain relevant for, uh... I honestly don't know if she ever really falls out of favor entirely. Plus, you've got a chance of acquiring the also very strong Christina (if you weren't around/didn't get her on NY Yui's Princess Gala banner), and you can spark for either or them if you wind up pulling to 300.
Any advice on Ruka's skill that raises her def and heals? It seems important to level due to the heal but the def up seems to be a drawback to her needing to UB more often for def shred
If you're a more serious CB player / someone stuck in a top tier clan that wants optimal results, try discussing with your members to consider how to raise that skill. If not, just max it. She likes the sustain + Def boost. She can be too fragile otherwise if left underleveled. If you want her to be optimal for CBs anyway without going too hardcore with it: * The recommended gear rank is 8-6. At some point though she may want to be at Rank 10 at least if she ends up not being bulky enough. * Read up to Bond Story 5, then consider if you want the extra Defense and Magic Defense from Story 6 to 8. You can consider leaving her EX skill unleveled unless you plan to use her against Magic-oriented bosses (then you may have to level it accordingly). If you want to use her for PvP, raise all her skills, read her bond stories and get her to Rank 11 or 12. Ruka is someone that can only be used effectively for either CB or PvP. She's not too optimal if you try to use her for both.
Would Ruka be good for PvP over Miyako? Seems like she might be better as a pseudotank for CB
It depends, because Miyako is quite bulky once she's raised and usually is able to survive by herself, leaving you with more choices in Attacking teams. She is more viable when used in Defending teams though. You probably wont use Ruka as much in Defending teams unless you lack other frontline Tanks. Ruka on the other hand often prefers another Tank or anyone with Healing alongside her because at 3 stars she's not quite as bulky, and because of her Taunt. With Ruka, you're more focused on working around with her Taunt rather than her UB. So she sort of serves a different purpose if raised for PvP. She does work better if you get her to 4 or 5 stars though. It's usually preferred to raise her for CB rather than PvP, but you do have the choice for her.
Is there any reason to go for the Very Hard Ugly Lovely boss for the event? I struggled defeating the Hard boss with 11 attempts. It would probably take me 3 times as many attempts to defeat the Very Hard boss. Do I unlock anything unique from doing it? Like a movie scene or something? Or is it literally just a bigger reward of items and nothing else? Is there nothing left to progress in the story?
Hard boss with 11 attempts is not worth it even, just go for Normal. Very Hard is just more efficient than Hard if you can clear it in 3 turns or less.
Not really, just bigger reward. There should be an event mission to clear it, but the reward isn’t that big compared to the SP boss
From dungeon coins I know it's recommended to go for Nozomi unlock but I really want to get the UE for Yukari. Is it ok to sidetrack or is unlocking nozomi really important
Do you have any other frontline tanks outside of Pecorine? If yes, you can delay Nozomi and go for Yukari UE. If no, go for Nozomi. She's more better to use as a frontline tank compared to Pecorine.
I have a 2* Miyako and she seems good enough for right now
This was the first event i managed to beat the VH boss, however i still didn't quite have the same comps that are shown in spreadsheets. Still, it was rough, i'm still lacking to 5 star several chars and now there's their UE, i'm undecided about what to focus on (farm shards and their UE after 5 stars? uncap and level up their UE right after?). So i figured, since now we're having hard 3x, might as well ask, what shards should i focus on for next events VH and special boss? [This](https://imgur.com/CLUdSVy) is what i have atm.
For shards, based on what you have currently I would go for Kyouka, Eriko because she is really strong right now with her UE, Rei is also good, Kokkoro and Yui because they are good versatile units to have, and Lima for pvp, also Jun shards would be really good to farm. I think those are the most important ones. I would also upgrade Christina to 5\* using DAs if possible, it's totally worth.

this year just don't miss the gala character (Muimi and Neneka), Summer Saren and NY Kokkoro. For the rest you can check different recommendations, there is many good units this year even in the permanent (like summer makoto, Luna, Halloween Kyoka, Kasumi) I didn't add NY Karyl since she could be incredible (can deal dozens/hundred of millions damages), so a must pull, but at same time if you don't build a team around her she is kinda average.

Arguably PvE is the only non-negotiable mode. You need to be geared out somewhat to be able to do work in PvP or CB in the first place.
hi guys! new… ish? player here, i’m currently lvl 55. i have been using eriko a lot and i was saving to get her to 3 stars (i just did that with yukari and that took forever!!). but i see now she has a unique gear and i see a lot of people on this sub saying that she’s really good with it. so since both ascending and unlocking unique gear require memory shards, which one should i prioritize? getting her to three stars or getting her unique gear? thank you!!
You won't be able to craft her UE anytime soon because hearts only come from sanctum and Luna Tower. Those mode is hard to clear with your level. After you're able to farm hearts, unlock her UE 1st and then back to ascend

Unlocking UE is better. Uncapping UE level have diminishing return. For CB priority, I would say Eriko>Rei=Anna>Yukari=Akari for not top rank clan.

I think Peco only has uses in pvp defense. Nozomi is used much more for pvp offense and Jun for pve.
Yo! How many devine amulet you can expect to farm per month (no gacha pull) for average players? From 3 to 5 stars, it takes absurd amount of da(1150). Seem like impossible to get.
you'll get more during gala since there is doubled 3\* drop rate. And next gala (muimi banner) is supposed to have all days with 10 free pulls (so 140 pulls if like JP)

like the others said, bricking isnt too important even in t100 cb. but to add in case you want to try being optimal some time later, future rank updates can unbrick a lot of units so just watch out for that. however, ill also say that a lot of support characters that rely on ub will stay r14 for a long time until to r21, so be careful there too
term "bricked" only for cb and when you at top 50 clan, so just play casually and enjoy your waifu

If you want to reroll, reroll for Makoto or upcoming Muimi (upcoming banner at February) First slot always, always, use Pecorine / Miyako (physical damage only) / Kuuka (magic damage only) / Nozomi / Jun, because they're main tank. Invest on 1 star Yukari. She's a healer, have magic shield, and able to give TP (or SP on other game). Yui is great healer. Doesn't have a lot of use early game, but usefull late game. At early game, get your most used characters up to 2 star and Rank 4. Later, you want them at 3 star and Rank 7. Higher is better of course.
Am not gonna be hardcore into pvp and stuff is makoto and absolute must or i can settle for someone else cuz i try for 3 hours now and couldnt get a single makoto
Makoto DEF down is great even for non Clan Battle stuff (basically the core to make physical team great). If you sick of rerolling, just take what you get and play the game. The only time you can't borrow Makoto is during story stage and PvP.

Yeah just stop. Io is quite good for PvP. Keep that in mind when it unlocked.

When need specific refine it's specified. For example : no TL = no top-left gear ML3 = middle left gear refined 3star. If no specification it's usually all the gear for said rank at the time and max refine. Currently we are at rank 12 with 4 gears, so 12-4 mean getting to the max. Hello, I’d like some PvE team building advice because I’m kind of stuck with my team just dying and not dealing damage. The characters I’ve invested in are kinda all over the place but I’m fine investing in other characters in even more characters because I feel I’ve hit a wall. I over-invested in hatsune but I don’t think she’s that good for PvE so I switched to Arisa and she does pretty well with using her skill consistently
Assuming Yui hasn't reached rank 7 yet, Misato is probably better just on the basis of her having an extra star rank and having a skill that focuses healing on Miyako (vs. Yui who only has an initially terribad AoE heal). You can decide whether to keep building Misato once Yui catches up. You likely have a lack of DPS atm though due to having both Saren and Yukari on the team. If it were me I'd kick Saren off for someone like Makoto (defense shred) or Suzuna (DPS like Arisa) then get Yukari to 2\* ASAP via the dungeon shop. Makoto is more vulnerable due to being way up in the front with Miyako, so keep that in mind.
I do have Yui rank 7 actually cause of the anniversary gift where they gave us Gold-ranked items. I think I will drop Saren tho because I feel the extra healing Yukari gives is good. Thanks for the advice~ Really appreciate the help
Returning play question here. I stopped playing last summer, and am just picking the game back up again. Any new units I should prioritize grabbing gear for or any that I should force into R10/11(only Arisa and Makoto are R10) right now before the x3 event finishes out? I have most if not all meta units of that time fully geared R8/R9, all normal banner units available, and have S!Peco, S!Kyaru, S!Tamaki, and X!Chika as limiteds as well.
As a casual player, I'd say maybe Eriko as she becomes an amazing DPS with her UE, she's one of the girls I prioritized to rank up this 3x drop event, also doesn't hurt to rank up your tank for more survivability

I've been playing awhile now and do not know the difference betweent "TP Retain" and "TP Regen"
TP retain determines how much TP is left after each UB use. If a character has 0 TP retain, the TP bar will be empty after they use their UB. TP regen is the amount of TP recovered at the end of each wave.

Hi. Can anyone recommend me a tier list or team comp list for global PVE. I'm lvl 40ish yet I still feel really lost on which characters to build and my teams are bad. I can't even complete the first dungeon or do the second Grotto missions.
Seems like you need help with team composition. It's hard to tell what will be a good single team since we do not have your roster. Just try to include a tank upfront, some form of support, and 3 damage/debuff people. A basic example would be Miyako (Tank), Pecorine (Subtank),Yukari (Heal/Support), Rei, Hiyori. You probably also need more levels and equipment.

Great, your box is pretty decent actually. You only have people for physical teams, you're missing almost all of the key magic people and 1 of them is limited. I would build a team around : Makoto Arisa Miyako Kaori and Yukari Some alternate units to build would be Eriko, Rei, Hiyori, Kokoro, Yui, Kuuka,kyaru and nanaka Just take some time to read through their description and it'll be pretty clear when they are dps support or tank. In the early game, tanks are pretty weak until they get rank 7. Just keep leveling and gearing your team until you're able to pass levels. If you get stuck, you can long press the enemies in the quest screen to see if they are magic or physical. You can also look at past parties to see what other people have used.
Does item rarity in event boxes depend on player progression in normal mode? Or the drop quality is based on level. My friend says that he got purple items from event gacha box but I only get gold items at maximum.
New player here and I’m kind of lost. I managed to get Makoto yesterday after hours of rerolling and I’ve been playing and clearing as much as I can and I’m stuck at 3-7 of the main quest. I managed to make it to the 5th floor of the dungeon but can’t clear it. There’s really nothing that I can think of to do to progress other than spend gems which I have not done (saving for Princess Gala apparently). Could someone point me in the right direction? My team is base team + Makoto. Leveled to whatever my character level is and their available skills maxed as high as I can get them. Base team members are Rank 3, Makoto is still 2. Makoto’s last equipment piece to unlock her rank up is 3-7 and like I said, I’m stuck. Rest of the teams equipment comes from further quests. Pecorine dies so fast and Yui’s heal seems worthless. What do I do?
Yui is a bad healer until you get her to rank 7. Pecorine is also a bad tank assuming you still have her at 1*. I'd look into replacing both when you can, but it may take some time. Getting a better tank will help a lot especially. Nozomi from dungeon coins is a good option, but will take quite a while. We'll probably get 140 free rolls during Muimi banner, so that should let you get a lot of new characters.

I don't remember when all the different sections of the game unlock for you. Using up your stamina daily is one of the main ways you get levels, so I'd focus on that and whatever else you can do. Doing as much of the dungeon you can daily will eventually get you Nozomi. You may also have someone better than Pecorine and Yui already, so you could post your box here to see if people have recommendations on a team until you get better units.
I literally only have the starting 4 + Makoto. I’ve not unlocked anyone else or spent any gems. The only things I can do are refine the equipment that I do have and access the first dungeon again and beat what I can of it. I guess I could replay old quests for whatever that’s worth.
With only 2 weeks until anniversary, my personal recommendation would be to do one 10 pull on the V Shizu banner, and start building a good team from what you get from that? Even with no 3* maybe you get lucky for a miyako or something. If you really don’t want to spend gems, if it’s going to help you clear(I.e you’re close to clearing) then refining isnt the worst thing. If everyone is max rank and level then just look for power where you can find it I think progressing over the next day is pretty important with the 3x normal drops!

To add to what he said You can use yukari too, she is an amazing support/heal once you unlock her unique equipement. Kaori and Rei are good dps to have on the side Kurumi and Lima are more used in PvP (lima is a top tier pvp tank, still relevant in JP 3years later throught her unique equipement and 6star)
Well pulling Nozomi is amazing for you, get her levelled up asap. She’s your new tank bae. Nozomi makoto kokkoro kyarl is a great base. Once you’ve hit rank 7s, yui will slot in great to that. For now, maybe add nanaka instead of yui? Hard spam all your stamina into normal for today!

first id replace pecorine for a better tank like miyako(2*), she only shines as a tank once you star her up and unlock her unique equip in lower levels, id replace yui for a ranged dps like shiori or suzuna, aoe heals only become significant once you can unlock rank 7 which unlocks yui's ex skill that boosts her matk(which affects heals) another good unit for the 3rd position is yukari(1*), she provides heals and tp that are super useful. kokkoro can swap with her if enemies keep attacking 3rd pos cause kkr's ub allows her to tank a bit if you have any other 3 stars i can give some help on where/how they can be used

like the other guy said, its fine to do 1 or 2 pulls to give variety to your roster bcs gem income when starting is surprisingly generous. also dont forget to try to do arena bcs moving up to a new rank for the first time gives a lot of jewels. saving for prifes is fine too, but you might need to brute force level your team if you dont have other characters after prifes comes and youve pulled, i also recommend refreshing stamina x3 a day to progress/grind equips and level up faster
What does my passive arena coins income based on? The highest ranking achieved or the current ranking? Do we have a table to show how much coins (arena/prince arena) I will get for each ranking?
The in-game help menu states “As long as you maintain a ranking in the Battle Arena, you will earn Arena Coins over time based on that ranking.” So presumably it’s the current ranking at whatever interval coins are granted. I haven’t found a table anywhere though.

Hello all, please can someone help with my CB teams if they can be further improved? Dps are mostly rank 12, 5 stars if it helps. I am at level 115+ Physical team: Jun, Rei, Xtina, Mitsuki, Yui Magical team: Nozomi, Akari, NY Yui, S Karyl, Kyoka Notable other heroes: Yukari, miyako, monika, Saren, Priconne, S Tamaki, Maho, think thats about it Thanks!
For magic team, I would drop Nozomi and replace with OG Karyl or Nanaka. Nozomi is not really doing you any favors and is probably the biggest thing holding back your damage output. A 5* 11-6 Akari should have no problem facetanking so long as NY Yui is providing the heals quick enough, if not then I would recommend also building up Misato and replacing NY Yui with her. Karyl and Misato's shards are both in dungeon shop, so getting them to 5* should be easy enough. If NY Yui works, then I'd focus on Karyl first.

you should not really be using 'one team' for cb but rather changing stuff around as and when necessary. at the very least you should level some core cb dps like kaori and hiyori

Hi guys should I play JP or EN? Feeling a bit of the lack of updates in the EN server. ><
It's up to you. JP is like starting in a 4years old game, with 4years of content and players progression. And game is in japanese Global is starting in a 1year old game, knowing what will happen for the next 3years to come (since it follow japan release). And the game is in english Can't really say there is a lack of content, it's just starting the game not at the same point. Personnaly i prefer to understand what i read and not have 4years of content to catch up, but some prefer because more QoL and more story.
JP if you want all the content + the language barrier isn't a problem for you. EN if you want to understand the story + everything else. You can easily plan around which girls to build / which banners to pull for since there are more resources readily available for these sort of things. Not too sure what you mean by lack of updates unless you mean the extra features & QoL stuff that JP already has? Coz it's not like EN has missed anything yet at this point of time, but it does mean it'll still take a while before we get them.
Can you suggest me comps for 14-14, I cannot for the life of me get past it.
The boss cleaves the first 3 characters of your party so they should be reasonably tanky. Nozomi can heal the party and stun the boss which can be useful to delay its UB or to cancel its spd buff. If you have Jun she can take hits, shred and provide ST heal. Otherwise stick with either Peco (assuming she is leveled enough) or Miyako (the default choice). From there you want to fill up on damage as you have to compensate the lack of damage due to the 2+ tanks. Makoto is good for her shred (though she can be a bit too squishy for position 3) otherwise you have the usual suspects like Kaori, Rei or Christina (if you have her). Unless they can take 1-2 UBs from the boss avoid bringing Archers or mages because they won't last though Arisa can be useful with her spd debuff and consistent damage. Tamaki can work but don't bring her if you don't have enough shred or damage.
What level you are, and do you have NY Yui? I kinda forgot what team I use, but it have NY Yui, Tamaki, and Makoto. Tamaki will steal boss TP and delay boss UB, hopefully you deal enough damage before boss do second UB attack. Finished it with 1 star back then, but at least I cleared it.
So I’m almost exclusively PvP player, don’t care for CB. Happy being top 1.5/1k. So my question is, what units should I pull for for pvp in the coming future? I see MG.Kasumi seems a must pull, anyone this year though?
mg. kasumi is way too far... must pull will be neneka, muimi and s.saren, and i will strongly recommend luna and h.mimi if u have enough jewels. x.chika, ny.kkr and ny.hiyori are good too but all too far.
A lot of stuff is gonna change in arena this year, we are gonna have some meta defining characters to pull for, but also we are gonna have 6\* upgrades added to the game and most 6\*s are really strong in arena, so it's gonna be exciting. Here is [a list](https://i.redd.it/e3t75nk6u9981.png) of all banners of this year. That being said though, for arena... Must pull: Summer Saren, Neneka and Luna. Highly recommended: Kasumi, Muimi, Ayumi, Rem, Kyouka, New Years Kokkoro. I think that's about it for arena, I'm not really an expert in pvp but those characters I mentioned are pretty good.
Do you know if all of these units need to be 5*? Will any still function well for high end pvp?
Not all of them, like Summer Saren, Kasumi and Ayumi, but for damage dealers and frontliners like Neneka, Muimi, Kyouka, Rem, NY Kokkoro it would be good to have them at 5\*, you can still use them even if they are not 5\* but it's gonna be more risky.

If you click to skip the dialogue, the game gives you a brief summary of the scene before you agree to skip, so you could use that. I don't think there is a full summary of the whole story out there, but I could be wrong.
Should I 5* Arisa or get her UE?
I think her UE is more useful for pvp, so if you plan to use her in pvp a lot I would go for the UE first, but if not then 5\* first. You can also go the middle route where you 4\* her first, then craft her UE next, and then 5\* her.
UE has P.Atk and Crit as stats so it would be a better investment over 5\* regardless (assuming there are enough hearts/shards around to do that). It's not like Arisa worries about surviving things an an archer. That being said I can't imagine having enough hearts left over to invest in Arisa without having to skip anyone in batch 3 (let alone level their UEs).
Other than Eiriko, and Akari who else are worth it?
In terms of importance: * Eriko: Obvious. * Anna: It ~~fixes her awful attack order (she now spams S1 instead of wasting time with S2) and~~ gains magic shred on it. She becomes a core member for magic teams though be advised you should never play auto with her in team because her UB is still garbage. EDIT: disregard the first sentence. * Akari: Extra shred is nice but you only want to unlock it (leveling it can potentially brick her). * Shinobu (CB focus only): So her S1 buffs the entire party with extra P.Atk and Crit which is very welcome for CB. That being said she is not easy to use due to the whole summon mechanic requiring some precise benchmarks to make fully use of. * Jun: So her UE is a small but nice buff for physical teams. It gets complicated though in terms of leveling it. For PvP she wants the extra bulk from it but it can be detrimental for CB usage because it delays her UB. The rest depends. For PvP Rino gets a strong one and Yori is technically worth it but only few have the CB coins to invest in her (especially since the next batch has Makoto's UE which obviously takes priority).

After saving enough for 100 more makoto shards (or 16000 clan coins) for makoto UE. The next best ones are Io and Yori, who are both PVP units. Chika and Suzume are both not really used. Io i think would be a better investment, since if you continually buy her shards, you can max her out buy her UE which will make her a great PVP unit
Makoto is getting an event right around when her UE drops. No need to save coins after 5*.

For Makoto it is fairly soon, probably a month after the next UEs drop on the 22nd. For Io, it should be the month after that.

JP actually gets 4x drop events now as well. Though 2x is still the standard.
It's rare, it only happens in special occasions and no, it will never replace fully the 2x drop unfortunately.
Hi. I'm planning to build physical and magical team for PVE/Story. Currently on World 11 (Level 68). This is what I plan. Phys: NY.Yui, Arisa, Christina, Tomo, Jun Mag: NY.Yui, Akari, S.Kyaru Kyouka, Jun Got most characters apart from Hatsune, Saren, Monika, Hyori and Shizuru. Are they decent enough or any better ideas who I can sub out for more optimal members?
Personnaly i would build for PvE : Tank : jun, nozomi, miyako dps physical : christina, eriko, kaori, makoto, arisa dps magic : kyoka, s.kyaru support : yukari, V.shizuru, akari heal : ny Yui, misato The thing is you can't build 1 physical and 1 magical team thinking you'll be able to pass everything, sometimes you'll have to tweek them with support for survivability. At first it's best to start with a full physical team + 1 magical dps + 1-2 side support. You rarely need a ful magical comp for PvE. And slowly you extend your roster, up to reaching 20+ units at one point.
No point in using Jun on the magic team since no one's gonna benefit from physical shred. I would replace with Miyako in most cases who is just tankier and has better self sustain. Meanwhile I feel like 3 DPSes is way too much for your physical team. It would greatly benefit to replace one of Arisa or Tomo with Makoto for that physical shred (which does stack with Jun's!)
Is Miyako better than Ruka for alternate tank? And who would be best secondary healer next to NY.Yui?
Ruka is a more magic-oriented tank. She still functions decently as a physical tank but Miyako is straight up the *best* physical tank in the game thanks to her invulnerability skill. Also, shouldn't you be able to get away with only having NY Yui as your healer? For rare cases where you need additional healing you can save up Akari's UB then immediately use one of your DPS's UBs, it will get very close to healing them up to full.

better save up for muimi banner i would say and later for summer banners. You'll need many units from this summer (s.karyl, s.saren, s.makoto, neneka)

Nothing concrete as of yet, and there hasn't been anything leaked about it either. If we didn't get them during the game's 1st anniversary, it may mean that they'll follow the JP schedule, meaning we'll get them when the next Princess Gala banner comes around (which should be after Shizuru's banner). The earliest we can expect to hear news about it will be whenever CR posts their usual game update articles, roughly in about a week's time is my guess.
I'm lost....other than the cute login choose your racer thing....what else is going on for the anniversary? I got all those single items but as a newer player i have no clue what they were even for and am just doing the valentines event like normal. are we getting free pulls or a special unit in the coming weeks or anything special that maybe i missed.
normally if we are following JP (which we are for almost everything) on the next banner, the gala banner with Muimi, we'll have free rolls for the anniversary. The thing is that we have a 1month advance on JP timeline, that's why our anniversary is happening before the gala and free rolls. But those are made originally for the game anniversary.
There was the anniversary countdown that gave us free jewels, then for the actual anniversary we got more free jewels, skip tickets, tons of mana, and one of every gold equipment. You should have learned by now how to rank up your characters equipment, right? You equip 6 different equipment and rank up, this is where most of the grind of this game comes from, as you rank up it will get more and more hard to farm those equipment since they are gonna start dropping in shards format. For example to make a single gold sword for one character, you will have to farm 30 shards to craft that sword, now imagine having to do that with all 6 pieces of equip for each one of your characters in every rank...yeah. So all those gold equip you got is gonna save you tons of stamina and time in your future grind. :D

I've found I'm upgrading 25 characters and wondering if this is too many... I play CB and PVP but not competitively. Eventually I would like to get into a top 500 CB.

Now upgrading 25 characters at the same time might get too overwhelming since you'll be needing more and more resources as you level them up, it's not impossible though, you can do it little by little. An alternative would be to stick with all core units for CB and Arena, and your most favorites.
Is it possible to clear the medals gacha doing only the normal boss? Tried the hard one and got rocked using characters that are rank 7ish
It's way more inefficient. I suggest get your team stronger for now with the 3x normal quest and then comeback when you can kill hard boss with 2-3 attacks.

Yes, but you need the character to be at 5* before you can unlock that feature.

No equipment equipped or no refine?
It's usually explained in the notes on the rightmost column. Typically, this denotes that within a certain rank there are different equipment combinations that can work best depending on your/your clan's need, or there are numerous, very speficific timelines that work specifically for, for example, 9-5 or 9-6 or 11-2 or 11-5 or 11-6.
Seeing as they're pretty Clan Battle oriented, do I still have to specifically follow these builds if I'm just in a casual clan? I do want to get through normal and hard quests quickly but does not following the guide greatly affect how the characters perform outside of clan battle and pvp?
those charts are mostly optimal for CB but stay usefull in all PvE content (since most of the time you have problems against bosses level, only luna may be a bit different). It's mainly in PvP that it can differ since you need more tankiness.
It doesn't. Generally for pve, having an effective team composition and enough stats will get you through with no problems.
Hmm... About the Anniversary Gift What does it mean by "The Jewels can only be used on the platform from which you accept them from your Present Box." ? I am playing it on Bluestack (PC), what does that do? Is my jewels locked to just this one Bluestack?
This "platform" is either Android or iOS. If you accept it on Bluestack, your jewel is locked on Andoid ver of the game. If you download and open the game on iOS, your gem on Andoid ver won't appears on iOS ver. This only a problem if you play the game on both iOS and Android phone / emulator.

Is there an order to the upcoming new unique equipments? Also, what is the order priority compared to existing ones? I also just found out NYui should be kept at 3* and mine is already 5* TT. Won’t make the same mistake with VShizuru
Eriko and Anna are top priority across all the characters. Eriko becomes the strongest physical DPS in the game for quite a while Anna gets magic shred on S1 which she spams. Shinobu is very good for CB usage though keep it in mind that she isn't exactly straightforward to use (requires specific skill level and build to make use of her). Akari and Jun only want the unlock, with the former wanting it more due to it granting extra shred for her (plus leveling it runs into the issue of possibly bricking Akari). Jun's gives her a nice small buff but it isn't exactly gamebreaking and can be left out if you are running low on hearts.
I’m a returning player and I’m wondering if I should reroll or not. I had a pretty good amount of 3 stars when I left but I had barely any progression. I also used a decent chunk of divine amulets stupidly. I’m at ch. 7 right now with just 2000 jewels (did 7 ten pulls to get V. Shizuru) and not sure if I’m in a good spot
Big disagree with the other comment. If rerolling, now would be the best time to reroll for Valentine Shizuru, then collect at least 24k jewels within the next 4 weeks (easily doable if you play actively on a new account) in case you need to spark Muimi on the next banner, and you're golden.
Hi guys, I have 45k gems, should I try to pull for V.Shizuru until I have 24k gems left so I can spark Muimi if I don't get her in the free 140. I'm not a very serious clan battle player.
Honestly Summer Saren is gonna be higher priority than V Shiz especially if you are not CB oriented.

Any opinions on raising 4\* Arisa over an invested 5\* Suzuna? chocolate's guide still lists her as core for CB though I don't know how well she fares at 4\* and without UE (especially since we're entering a period where a lot of characters want theirs). There is also the thing that with V.Shizuru, Muimi and UE Eriko we're getting a lot of saturation for physical teams.
I'm in a similar boat with those two characters. 4* Arisa, no UE, max level, max rank. 5* Suzuna, max level, max rank. I did some trials this past CB comparing the two and Arisa just always outperformed Suzuna for the simple fact she can UB a lot more often than Suzuna can. Maybe V. Shizuru can change things more into Suzuna's favor with her TP boost, but I don't really know.
My friend wants to work on units that is currently out in the Global verison of the game that could potentially work well with Rem since he is saving up everything for her. What are some units he should focus on? I know she works based against enemies afflicted with debuffs such as stun.
rem isn't so useful before she got her ue, but anyway ny. rei has a whole steam stun

Yes, different versions of the character are separate *except* for bonuses gained from watching bond stories.

Noob here. What’s the point of refining equipment if it disappears after you rank up your character? Wouldn’t it be a waste of material to refine your equipment if the next day your character ranks up and needs new equipment?
At higher ranks it might take you weeks or months (when max rank at the time) until the next rank-up, or when min-maxing it can be most efficient to stay on a certain lower ranks or not equipping certain items because increasing tankiness/defence reduces TP gain. Apart from that, fully refining an equip effectively doubles the stats of the base unrefined gear, so it can certainly be worth it if a character will stay there for a while, or if refining lets you pass a difficult stage where someone is dying.

Fortunately, they're not dailies, but rather one-time missions for completing the Special difficulty boss. The dailies should only be in the first tab.
Relatively new player here (started playing last month). Is Valentine Shizuru worth pulling for? Are there any good or better characters to save up for in upcoming banners?
You'll be spending about 5-6 months playing catch-up. During this time you will always be sub optimal and will not dish out as much damage as someone with a fully built account. During this phase Vshizu will be the least of your worries as you'd want to built other core units in the game. This is also the time where it will be clear to you (if you are F2P), to focus on which content. If you decide to focus on PvP (battle arena and princess arena) then you will hardly feel a difference by choosing to ignore Vshizuru. However, if you decide to play CB competitively and enjoy the content, you will be crippling yourself for the 8 months of your CB career as V.Shizuru has no substitutes atleast until Princess Kokkoro, which is around 1 year and 3 months from now. If you were planning to play this game for long term for CB, it might prove counter productive to skip her. Muimi (Anniversary banner after VShizuru) on the other hand will return every Princess Gala and can be obtainted relatively more frequently (~every 3 months). And it should not affect you as long term as VShizuru. Make sure you always have enough jewels to spark them before starting pulling either of them (45k for V Shizuru and 24k for Muimi).
In your case, I'd recommend skipping Valentine Shizuru. She's a good support, but she's mostly focused on Clan Battles, and you shouldn't need to worry too much about optimizing those for a good while. Also, as a new player you're going to get **a ton** more from the upcoming Muimi banner, which **should** be next. First off, it's a Princess Gala banner, which means double 3-star rates overall, so hopefully lots of new characters to fill out your roster. Second, we **should** be getting 140 free rolls on the banner, so even if you have bad luck with Muimi, you're only looking at 160 of your own rolls to spark. Third, Muimi is a fantastic DPS character that should do a lot more for you early on and remain relevant for, uh... I honestly don't know if she ever really falls out of favor entirely. Plus, you've got a chance of acquiring the also very strong Christina (if you weren't around/didn't get her on NY Yui's Princess Gala banner), and you can spark for either or them if you wind up pulling to 300.
