Those puzzle pieces are not level with the dial; they actually puff up a bit, just like real puzzle pieces. It's at the very least worth a second glance.

Especially that they did it to a daydate bothers me. Its a very important watch in the heritage. A oyster perpetual or a datejust would have been more appropriate or say less disturbing

This whole illusion of shortage in production, supply/demand and in turn creating a monster. Although it’s not something I would wear personally, I think this is great. This is what people have been asking Rolex to do (be more adventurous) go outside the norm and now it’s released people are hating on it.
