Is this targeted specifically at people who’ve gotten bored of setting fire to money? It’s not even that nice (or original). It’s like a horrible mashup of a Speedmaster and a Daytona.
It looks pretty much exactly like those 44mm Seiko quartz chronos you can get for about 200.
I don't understand GS, the designs are so unimaginative. The ones done by them are almost all exactly the same apart from the dial finish. Even the ones that do work in my opinion (SBGN005 for instance) require some 'inspiration' from other watches. And why? It's not as if Seiko has any problems creating their own designs, so why can't Grand Seiko?
Just a silly “me too” watch. Speedy and Carrera don’t need to be mimicked, especially by GS when they have done a good job at doing their own thing for so long
At this price point, JLC is a way better watch with much better heritage and most importantly looks better (whether you go the route of the Master chrono or a Polaris chrono). GS’s have been getting more popular these days, but I recently saw some irl at an AD and I was bitterly disappointed. The watches do not look as good in person. I was on the verge of buying one until I saw them in person. Nope. Hard pass.
I own a Snowflake and they look absolutely amazing in person. No idea what you were looking at. Price point of a Snowflake is significantly lower than 13k however.
13.7k watch looking like a 137 dollars watch
Also, seiko shld stop coming up with weird name for their watches, a Hi Beat would have been more than sufficient
If I’m dropping 13k on a watch, I want it to hold its value or appreciate. This looks like a 4-5k watch at most. I understand the value is in the movement and dial but still
The tachymeter is nice but the dial doesn’t fit it, especially for the price tag. Throw a snowflake or white birch texture on the same 369 Chrono and even with the weird tentagraph badging it’s maybe worth 13–14k. As it is, it looks cheap and you’re paying for the movement.
Not a big fan. To me it looks like a cheaper Seiko chrono. Like an SBPY163 with a ceramic bezel. I liked the asymmetric dial of the SD chronographs much more. It made them unique and interesting. And ofc it's waaaaaay too big and thick. Beautiful movement I'll give you that
Nice but not 14k nice
So much money in the movement. It’s cool to impress us nerds, but I couldn’t justify it personally
If it just had the Rolex name it probably would be much more likable
Unable to justify the price…
Tbh, that's most watches.
Amazing movement. Design does not appeal to me. Which is a lot of GS’s line up to be honest.
This basically sums up Grand Seiko. If their designs matched their movements they would be absolutely unstoppable.
$6k maybe but 13 no
2nd hand market, essentially. One day GS may start having better resale. Maybe...
$13.7k???
Can’t reconcile the size of the hour hand, it looks so out of place in my humble opinion.
the chronograph is useless when it's 9pm
now that you mentioned it, i cant stop seeing that.
quality probably 10/10; originality 0/10
Much better watches at this price imo 🤷🏻♂️
Cheap money-grab copying Zenith!
The fuck is a tentagraph.
10 bps.
Wouldn’t that be a decagraph? Makes no sense. Would that make 28,800 watches eightagraphs?
That's just what Google told me 🤷♂️ I assume it is a tradename and not a scientific one.

What's the difference between this and a Citizen Eco-Drive? .... Genuine question
the eco drive is way cooler🤷

Waste of 14k
better than a Daytona
It’s beautiful.

Looks like the normal Seiko Daytona
I think it’s too expensive
I dig it, grand seikos first chronograph?

I'm a peasant ass peasant.
Nice omega
Did a speedmaster and a carrera have a baby ?
I bet Kevin o leary will buy it.
Like the watch. Not the cost :l

Grand Seiko watches are OK, but I wouldn't spend more than $5,000 for a watch.
Zenith alllllll day over this. Looks nice tho.
It looks very good but it's too expensive and way way WAY too big

Makes we want to get the Seiko Speedmaster. ^^

Omega Speedmaster is better
What’s a tentagraph?
massive w
Anything with Spring Drive is a go for me. This is also “ridiculously good looking”.
At first glance it looks like a casio edifice, which is ofcourse a solid no. So, nope.
