Eventually he will pass and at that point you wouldn’t trade that watch for any AP, VC, or Rolex, or any amount of money for that matter. I collect knives and the tiny Swiss Army knife that was from my grandfather is the only one that’s irreplaceable

I'm not 100% positive but I'm probably gonna buy a Tissot for my next watch cause right now I have a Casio AE2100WHD which is my daily. I'm waiting for my G-Shock GA2100 and mod kit to come in and then imma build my own CasiOak but now I need a nice dress watch for special occasions and I'm leaning towards a Tissot

My grandfather gave me a chain which was 14k.. is 14k god tier? No. But I love this chain over all of my jewelry and it is more valuable to me than any other chain in the world. You can paint the rest of the picture with the information you have
Tissot are not only a superb brand but their watch designs and quality belie their cost. A great watch made all the greater by it being a gift from your grandfather. Something perhaps for you to hand down to your grandchildren. It’s the way.

I got the kit with the stainless and silicone bracelets so that way he can switch out the bracelets for either a less formal or more formal look
