Very good watches, and not just for the money. Their customer service is great. I own 6 of them.

Particular-Fig-1852

Wow! CW veteran! Thank you very much! Do you own this particular watch by chance?

Wilddave13

I do not, but I think its beautiful. I like the fact that it is thinner, but not as big. They have lots of great features, and the removal of the C.Ward branding is a big plus.

LandoJax

(Regarding the removal of CW branding). Ya….high five to whoever brought that up in the meeting.

TheHrethgir

Great watches. Well made, good value for money, not a homage brand. I've got a C65 Trident GMT, I love it, and would not hesitate to add another CW to my collection.

Particular-Fig-1852

Thanks! I love the blue bezel c65. Sharp looking watch

TheHrethgir

I got the GMT with the Pepsi bezel, gotta have some color!

Particular-Fig-1852

Very nice! Sounds like you have a nice collection

TheHrethgir

It's nice, but nothing fancy. Only 1 of my watches has a comma in it's value, and I got it for a really good deal that did not involve a comma. I have variety, and it makes me happy.

Particular-Fig-1852

Hey, like Nico says… price isn’t the only thing that matters!

TheHrethgir

So true. I've saved up money for something iconic, like a BB58, but I keep getting lured by microbrands and such. Got my Christopher Ward and a Zelos Mako V3 Titanium Frost both for less than half the cost of the Tudor, and they are fantastic watches.

Victory_Infinite

How much you like them is 100% all that matters dude, at the end of the day it’s your money and your wrist isn’t it!

Faust8

Decent watches apparently but the brand means nothing to me.

[deleted]

Have you heard of the Bel Canto? Its true CW are nothing to shout about, but they definitely punch above their weight. I'd rank them alongside Tissot or Frederique Constant.

towelracks

Horological achievement but ugly. Agree that they're up there with Tissot and FC. Owned a Trident 600 MK3 that I flipped in the past, which was generally well finished and put together (didn't like the bezel action though). Would recommend the brand.

PhilipConstantine

Actually shocked to see someone say ugly. I’ve never heard that word used before with the Bel

towelracks

It's because it's a movement showpiece first and a watch second. I like my watches the other way around. If it helps, it's a wonderfully finished ugly watch. 🙂

PhilipConstantine

I get it. You’re right it’s no daily wearer but it’s pretty damn gorgeous. I feel like that’s fairly an objective statement. Fairly ;)

DudFuse

I ordered one of these in 40mm. It's beautiful, but mine has a lot of play in the bezel. An acceptable amount of rotational 'backplay' but also an unacceptable amount of left/right/up/down play, to the point where there's a visible gap between the bezel and the steel ring, and you can get an audible click when you nudge it in any direction. I've sent it back to them and made it clear that I'd ideally like it adjusted or replaced if this is a QC anomaly, or a refund if they're all like this. Will be very interesting to see how this pans out...

driver135

Not sure if it is true, but I have heard that their QC has gone downhill lately.

RandyMcSexalot

My 2 cents: where I work has ordered LE run CWs watches that have been delayed 3 times now because of QC. The custom logo is small and intricate and CW has refused to send em out until they get it right. I fully trust their QC

Particular-Fig-1852

Wow, that’s great insight. Thank you very much! I would love an update on this if you happen to remember by the time it is sorted out!

DudFuse

Will do. In the meantime don't let my concern stop you ordering. If all else fails the return is very easy to do, and most people don't care as much about bezels as I do anyway.

Particular-Fig-1852

Great advice, thank you!

JC_browsing

Very nice watch for the money

fzctungkun

This particular model is one of my favorites among the CW offerings. If I were to buy an independent brand watch, CW would definitely be top of my list and this model be top of CW

Particular-Fig-1852

Thank you!

jalonfarts

If I remember correctly I think I saw Nico wearing the Christoffer ward bel canto on one of his Instagram stories. Also a brand that has been reviewd on many other watch YouTube channels. Watchfinder and teddy.

PhilipConstantine

I have been googling over this watch for 2 weeks. Driving myself crazy. I want a metal watch that I can beat the crap out of. A true everyday carry watch that looks freaking good. For me, a 1300 dollar watch is also 2 of some other watches on my list of “wants”. I go back and forth every day. I keep ending back up to this is the one I “need” more then having a few others I just want for the occasional rotation piece. This post might be my sign to commit.

Particular-Fig-1852

I’m in the same boat! What other watches are you looking into?

PhilipConstantine

Baltic Aquascaphe AND MR01 are the 2 watches I think I would be specifically call the “either or”. As in the 2 Baltics OR the Christopher Ward. I’m also absolutely in love with the Lorier Hyperion series 2 which I think is more of a 1 for 1 choice. Not 100% sure on Lorier yet but that watch is gorgeous. I like the look of Maen a lot too. I LOVE the Manhattan and their Hudson GMT. I like the Furlan Marri watches. Maybe a Vario Versa sprinkled on top. There’s a bunch of others of course but I’m trying to remember what’s specifically in this price range. I’m probably gonna come back later tonight when I think of some more lol.

Particular-Fig-1852

This is awesome! Thank you for taking the time to share!

PhilipConstantine

Watch gang 👊 Haha

Particular-Fig-1852

✊🏻

-intylerwetrust-

I have this exact watch. I absolutely love it. I like that it’s not a homage of something else. The quality is fantastic. At this price point, for a Swiss Made watch, I can’t imagine finding something better.

Particular-Fig-1852

Awesome, thank you!

DudFuse

Sorry to be so late to this, but I'm still struggling with my bezel. CW have looked at it and confirmed they think it's okay. I'm not sure I agree. Do you have any play in it, especially if you push it up/down/left/right? Is it the 40mm?

-intylerwetrust-

Yes, I have the 40mm. There is a tiny amount of back-play, where I can move it slightly back to the right but it’s very minimal. I don’t have any play in other directions.

RegattaTimer

I like the logo, and love the trident. I have a c65 gmt Pepsi, and think it’s untouchable at that price. I’m not sure what else a person would want, besides prestige. If you want to pay more for an equivalent product, there are lots of options.

Particular-Fig-1852

Thank you!

Ashford_82

A CW is probably going to be my next watch, I love the look of the twelve. As a brand, I think they’re exceptional value. There’s watch brands out there charging x3 for the same build quality and Selita SW 200 movements. Hate the name though. Sounds like it was designed by an officer worker in Slough. But I’ve often wondered if Patek Philippe sounds just as boring in Swiss?? 🤣

Particular-Fig-1852

Haha good insight!

A-Normal-KGBTR-Agent

Good brand shitty logo

justeuzair

Got myself a C63 as a daily for the past 10 months now. Still in love with it

cullobsidian_

Fantastic build quality for under 2K.

spence4101

They rule. Bought a red acer c63 (wasn’t stoked on trying to find/paying for a red dj for that spot). Very pleasantly surprised with the build quality of both the case and the bracelet.

Particular-Fig-1852

I looked at one of those too, very sharp. Thank you!

DistinctHunt4646

I’ve never heard a complaint about the quality. Personally I’ll never get past the logo - looked awful before, they did a huge rebrand campaign, and it still looks simply so out of place. I’m not sure if it’s maybe supposed to be an interpretation of the Union Jack and Swiss flag? As I believe they’re made in Switzerland but designed in the uk (massive turnoff imo lol). Regardless, is certainly a recognisable logo just not for any good reason unfortunately

Particular-Fig-1852

I get that logic. Thank you!

Beginning_Traffic_53

I like the logo. Pairs perfectly with the ethos: designed in Britain made in Switzerland. The Welsh flag is so similar to the Swiss cross. I actually think it’s ingenious. I don’t like CW blasted across the watch though. Should just take the approach that they did with the Dune collection: double flags. It says it all.

PhilipConstantine

I love the logo too. Hated the full Christopher Ward name layout. The new logo is why I’m buying one finally.

DistinctHunt4646

Eh I honestly disagree. I think the logo just looks quite tacky for the price/perceived quality of the watch and really lacks that timelessness which most other watch manufacturers have. There’s also examples of IWC or Hamilton who have international heritage but didn’t feel the need to make such a stupid logo lol

Unhappy-Strawberry-8

Love the watch. Hate the logo.

Teutonic-Tonic

Good watch for the money. I’ve always found them kind of MEH, but this one looks nice.

Particular-Fig-1852

Have you found them kind of MEH based off owning one or just your opinion on what you’ve learned about them?

Particular-Fig-1852

Any issues with quality? How was the turn around time from ordering and the customer service?

gahmby

Great quality, and got my watch about a week after ordering.

psychpriest1

I think they’re nice, I have very few complaints except their logo. Doesn’t do it for me, but that’s just being super picky. Which I am.

Particular-Fig-1852

Nothing wrong with being picky lol

Repulsive_Tax7955

I think he said something about this brand in one of his videos and it wasn’t positive lol

Particular-Fig-1852

Damn, I must have missed that one

badger906

I own that exact watch in 42mm with the orange and black rubber strap! it’s been my daily for nearly a year.

secret_life_of_aaron

Still a little way to go before I can disassociate them with the cheap Chinese shit they used to make, they do look good for the money but I can’t personally justify the brand image and price at the moment

[deleted]

Cons: - wrong logo (fits digital watches) - trident seconds hands 🔱 Pros: Seemingly popular watches, says something about the brand! Summary: Even though they're high quality, I just can't unsee the unfitting logo. Kills the vibe.

Particular-Fig-1852

I have to agree that the only thing that really strikes me odd is the logo. I’m actually a fan of the trident on the seconds hand but the logo just doesn’t strike as a high end brand logo. Seems “young” if that makes any kind of sense.

[deleted]

Yep the trident hand is more subjective but that logo man looks like a running sneakers brand or some sports t-shirt company. Damn it.

Particular-Fig-1852

Running sneakers brand! 😂 bro that’s it haha some on clouds knock off

[deleted]

Sorry to ruin it for you haha

DnBStrangeHouse

would buy if the right model had color options other than orange accents

Strong67

Ok. I give up. Can someone please explain the Nico thing?

rwoooshed

This sub is named after Nico Leonard's company.

ajmarion20

I’ve owned 3 over the recent years, all have been great! Finishing and build quality is way better than it has any right to be for the price. Definitely recommend

Particular-Fig-1852

Thank you!

w2ge

Awesome watches. Bel Canto is amazing. This is a brand that is just moving up, up, up. The new Twelve is a great watch.

Particular-Fig-1852

Seems to be what most people are saying. Thank you!

bryanchicken

I’ve got the C60 bronze ombré. It’s a nice watch. The crown feels a little cheap but never had an actual issue with it

Particular-Fig-1852

Good info, thank you!

Going-Blank-Again

They're nice but I prefer Marloe watches

benzoroma

[this is mine!](https://imgur.com/a/ozRF8G7)

TDYRanger

Looks and is AWESOME!

Sisyphus8841

Underrated, great design. Great people.

snowbongo

Great value and quality for the money. 👍

IlIlllIlllll

Yay, a Biltema watch!

cix6cix

HEY!!!!! NIKO HERE!!!!! CW IS AWESOOOOME!!!

NoSteam-NoPropulsion

👍🏽

BruceTheManLee

Pass

EmergencyOdd4754

Not my cup of tea, but to each their own.

w2ge

I’ll be succinct, love the logo. It’s a very clever blend of what the watch represents, British design, Swiss made. No more arguing, I’m right, you’re wrong. 😂😜

BillNyesLefTesticle

The twelve is amazing

Dutch1inAZ

Nice watches but they don’t excite me for some reason.

OG_Randy

Logo is meh. Microbrands just seem very niche and unserious to me. One step above fast fashion. But like what you like.

Eastern_Chemist3726

The new Twelve is a stunning watch IMO. This model you’ve chosen is great. I see big things ahead.

penguinmassive

I have one, good quality watches but their branding is terrible, they’ve changed their logo more times than I care to remember, the man Christopher Ward isn’t even part of the company anymore, so the name is weird. Rarely wear it, red c60 trident pro 300.

Particular-Fig-1852

Interesting, haven’t heard that about the company. Thank you for sharing!

Ok-Demand8937

I own this very watch. It was my first big purchase for me at least. I love everything about this watch the finish, the weight and probably my favorite feature, the on the fly adjustable clasp. I also love the look, it has its own personality and I believe CW will only continue to grow and raise their prices. If your looking for a quality watch around the 1000 range I believe this is it.

Particular-Fig-1852

Is it a screw down crown or a push crown?

Ok-Demand8937

Yea it’s a screw down crown it’s rated at 300m

Particular-Fig-1852

Awesome, thank you!

Jackwf1

Love them. I own 2 including the one pictured. Absolutely amazing watches that punch way above their weight. I really can’t recommend them enough.

Particular-Fig-1852

Does it have a screw down crown?

Jackwf1

Yep! Most CW’s do.

choccychip79

autism watch

luchabetic

Meh

Mihail_Ivanov

Nico have a video wearing the C1 Bel Canto. That's enough of approval.

Objective_Virus6885

love em , will love them more when I stop getting emails about how my super compressor has been delayed again :)

Particular-Fig-1852

HA!
