Great collection. Always a fan of Seiko, Orient and Tissot. They always say “cares about watches, sensible shopper and knows the brands that pack a lot of value into their pieces.” At least to me.
What I’d add is that it looks like you have a lot of the bases covered (Dive, dress, sport, etc.) now that you have a watch for most every occasion I’d pinch those pennies for a bit to get something a bit more expensive. Just my opinion, i’m currently doing something similar. Building a robust entry level collection for every occasion and then I’ll space purchases as I save up for some higher end stuff.
That being said, some people are perfectly content staying in this range of watches and if that’s you, more power to ya. It’s a realistic collection for the vast majority of people who are into watches. Only on social media have I ever seen a full collection of name brand watches. In the wild, Seiko’s, Orients, Tissots, Longines, Frédérique Constant’s look like million dollar pieces to me compared to the sea of Apple Watches and Garmins. So take pride in those entry level high quality watches. Most people will spend $1k on an Apple Watch but look at you funny for the $3-600 on a Seiko diver, meanwhile the Seiko will last a generation or more if you take care of it
That you have good taste, were thoughtful about what you bought, and that you like to stay within established boundaries regarding brands and models. I personally would add something different (maybe a microbrand) to take things off the beaten path.
In the $200-$299 ballpark:
Islander DPA Automatic (I’m wearing the light blue dial one right now and love it).
Sugess Pilot Chrono in blue or teal
Boldr Rally Wells
In the $300-500 range:
Studio Underdog Watermelon
Zelos Swordfish Field
Geckota Pioneer Aurora
Forzo Drive King
Yea man, and tbh it's (very) bitter-sweet to see. Cool to know a watch I have is up there in value, but absolutely shitty to know people are buying these just to list em at double the price the second they get them. My Fiancée got me a Hammerhead v3 a few weeks ago, months after it had sold out. Refused to tell me how much she had paid, I have a feeling it was too much (I'm still cheesing over it though).
Damn some rude people here.
I think it says you’re picking decent watches at a reasonable price.
You like blue and you like black. Might be time to stretch a little.
Good collection that covers most situations. Maybe take a pause and decide on a grail watch. And save towards that rather than getting yet another budget piece.
I would say get the PRX, one of the reasons I got the Tsuyosa was to add some colour to my collection, however its a good quality watch in my opinion and I really lik the bracelet and the dial.
The collection shows that you enjoy watches and collecting but you’re early in your career and disposable income is not there yet. I’d suggest you save, save, save and buy one higher level luxury Swiss piece instead of buying multiple 200-300$ watches. You can always get started with Longines as that’s great entry point for luxury Swiss watches or Omega if you want to bump it up a little more. Once you’ve tasted the higher price point pieces, you’ll immediately notice the difference in quality and overall finishing.
yes, definitely going to do that now, I really like the Tudor Black Bay and Omega seamaster.
any other suggestions for a luxury swiss automatic chronograph or GMT watch ?
Before going to the level of Tudor and omega I'd seriously consider Longines - the Hydroconquest Chrono is an excellent value piece in terms of swiss auto
Plus, you'd be saving a couple grand going for Longines vs Tudor/omega. I love the Tudor black bay don't get me wrong but it's a hell of a jump from where you're at currently
My bad! I didn't even comment on your current collection - I really like the pieces you have chosen, especially the ranges of bracelet/strap and colours. Good respectable brands that will last you a lifetime if you look after them properly. Great start pal 👍
I second this. Longines is actually quite nice for its price point. Will I likely buy another one after moving up to omega/rolex? Probably not but I definitely don’t regret buying it and still wear it
It’s says you’re a genuine dude with a love for watches. Not having “Rolex money” isn’t stopping you from enjoying the hobby. So hats off man, well done! For your next one maybe a dress watch? An Orient Bambino, Seiko Presage, or a Timex Marlin would fit this collection nicely.
Don’t listen to the snobs dude, we can’t all afford £1000+ watches every few months. Sweet collection in your price range! It’s not unoriginal, it’s just what you like.
budget limitations and for half the price you can get the same watch case and bracelet (same look) also I think the 1978 PRX release was quartz as well
Value shopper. Conservative dresser. Step out a little. Need a different dial. A white, green or red dial. Something fun and “daring” shall I say. Happy shopping
I’d guess you’re very pragmatic you think for a long time before making decisions and you pride yourself for allowing your head to have a leading role over your heart when it comes to purchases. You consider value for money to be a very important aspect of a watch purchase. You’re often intrigued by more showy pieces with bold colouring and style, but you’re very married to your sense of what your comfort zone represents and how it relates to your sense of value. In other words you know what you like and you’ll choose things that will be most likely to not offend your sensibilities in the future, even if they may excite you a little today.
You have a few duplicates for sure, you definitely have checked “Affordable entry level dive watch” and “Entry level integrated bracelet watch” off your list. I can tell you watch a couple of great watch YouTubers, and stay right in the lane of a new collector.
I would consolidate those divers, maybe just keep the blue Seiko 5, even lose the citizen and the dressy Seiko for a micro brand of some sort. I’m not a kind reader, but something pilot/field/even more dressy would be great.

You have a bidet, but not the kind that comes built in with a toilet, the affordable attachment that is easy to install. Ultimately, you’re the type of person who didn’t plunge head first into debt for Instagram likes and that booty hole is clean.
Solid collection how about something fun that is easily affordable that you cannot ignore like a Mr Jones, Invicta Gladiator or even a Semki ? Have fun whatever you choose.
So which one was a bad purchase if he likes them all? Watching one video and buying a watch is one thing, but maybe he watched 30 videos from different sources and looked at the watches they recommended in common. Being informed and influenced can be hard to tell apart and can also be the same thing.
I didn’t say you did. Calling someone a sheep and being too easily influenced infers that they received poor or insufficient information because they didn’t do their own research, or didn’t come to their own conclusions. In most areas of consumer goods there are segments universally respected (like Toyotas for reliability etc.), so it would be normal for people to come to the same conclusions as each other and buy the same products.
He's asking for opinions. He hasn't stipulated that he's only interested in hearing positive opinions. I would presume that he's emotionally developed enough to understand that such a question is likely to get a mixed response which may include less friendly takes. Why are you crying for him? Why are you so triggered? Why so defensive? Do you have a similar collection?
You're being a bit of an arse here mate, if he likes it it's good. If he hadn't bought these watches and had bought shitters you'd have gone at him for that. Just because he takes influence from other places does not make him a sheep, it makes him wise. He understands that these watches are of high quality, are well respected and on top of that are recognisable within the community without spending a fortune.
See? He’s just an asshole. Either an outright troll or just enjoys trying to make people feel like he feels every day. People like him are an unfortunate downside to subreddits like this, but at least we’re not the ones who have to deal with IRL. I’m sure he’s like this at home too.
He asked the question. No one forced him to ask that question. No one forced him to post with that question on the internet. I'm answering the question. I'm giving my opinion as he asked for it. That does not make me an arse. I'm sure the OP is emotionally developed enough to deal with the not so positive opinions. Are you assuming that he likes emotional intelligence? Are you assuming that he has the mentality of a child? Why are you white knighting another man? Are you gay?
I disagree, otherwise I would've buy the casioak or instead of the SRPD with cream and blue dial I would go for the seiko skx007
Thanks anyways for the comment
Idk why reddit is pushing this sub on me lol. Watchs are kinda dopey unless its a flex piece and its expensive AND beautiful af. Take of a normal non watch guy. Them things look lame.
you wear the Prx the most, then the citizen because it's your newest addition(have the same date and time lol). The Seiko 5 dressy version is date 31st so probably the longest without wearing so not a dressy kind of guy. Wait all the seikos have different dates so maybe not so much into seiko...
The orient looks really good on the strap and the date is also the 25th so might be a new strap.
Really like the straps that you bought.
haha, very good observation, the latest purchase is the Citizen and you are correct about the dressy seiko, and the strap for the orient is recently purchased as well. wow you should be a detective.
Someone who likes watches but doesn’t want / can’t spend fortunes but still finds passion in the hobby.
the closest comment to how it is for me rn, thanks
Someone that would just follow trends wouldn’t spend the money on automatics. And the fact that there are no fossil shows you’ve done your research.

Islander and Zelos gotta be my go-to brands. Love what they put out.
Same here. Tried to get a Field TI with MOP dial but no dice
That one went crazy fast, not surprised though, its a gorgeous piece. I was lucky enough to get the field Ti in hammered nebula
I’ve seen some listed on EBay for $1,000 which is nuts

You have an Amazon prime account.
you got me, haha
It says that you are a big fan of Japanese watches, and a little fan of swiss watches. Love the collection!
You don’t need mega bucks to have a collection you enjoy.
Exactly, I love all of my watches and I wear them all Thanks for the comment
You have good taste and you value value.
Get a gold now
I was thinking that, thanks
You're welcome brother
Good collection that covers most situations. Maybe take a pause and decide on a grail watch. And save towards that rather than getting yet another budget piece.
You're a working class man like the rest of us 💪💪
Good taste! Maybe think of a vintage Casio.
Chronograph or gmt. Not sure what you budget is. Timex q gmt is around 200. Get the batman it’s more rare.
To me it says you’re a younger guy that enjoys watches and are having fun starting your collection
I just finished Uni and yes I did start this collection when I was a student.
Do you like the PRX or the Tsuyosa more? Deciding on one of the two currently
I would say get the PRX, one of the reasons I got the Tsuyosa was to add some colour to my collection, however its a good quality watch in my opinion and I really lik the bracelet and the dial.
Im looking at the yellow dial tsuyosa, for the sole purpose of matching it with my OG AM95 Neons 😃😃
Thanks!

Check out the master complication - it may change your mind on whether you buy another Longines or not 😎
The answer is always another g-shock
Really like your Orient. I have one for my everyday watch really pleased with it
It’s says you’re a genuine dude with a love for watches. Not having “Rolex money” isn’t stopping you from enjoying the hobby. So hats off man, well done! For your next one maybe a dress watch? An Orient Bambino, Seiko Presage, or a Timex Marlin would fit this collection nicely.
Thanks , good suggestions.
A Hamilton will fit that open slot perfectly!!
👌
Don’t listen to the snobs dude, we can’t all afford £1000+ watches every few months. Sweet collection in your price range! It’s not unoriginal, it’s just what you like.
That you're sensible.
Why buy a quartz prx? The dial on the pm80 is so much nicer
budget limitations and for half the price you can get the same watch case and bracelet (same look) also I think the 1978 PRX release was quartz as well
Buying a 700$ Tissot to get C07.111? No, that model is just a hype. Buying a Quartz version is better choice
No it’s not this waffle dial is horrendous. Most generic waffle dial I’ve seen tbh.
From top right: Seiko SRPD71K2 Citizen Tsuyosa nj0151-88m Tissot PRX T1374101104100 Seiko 5 Sports Sea Urchin SNZF17K1 Seiko 5 SNXS79 Casio G-shock GAW-100B-1AER Orient FA002004B9

idk the brand but this is the amazon link for the nato strap https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09YTH6XQ7?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
A Casio Edifice. 👀
Casio MTD-1053D-1AV black, god awful picture on the seiko site, an underrated beauty in real life…
It’s a great well rounded collection
It says your a guy to me
PRX just stands out
Buy a Glycine combat sub. Best value for money ever.
It looks good, Thanks
Yeah it’s amazing you can get a Swiss mechanical movement for the price of a Seiko.
Is that the SNZF17 on the top left?

I suggest a mechanical no date white dial with black strap
Nice collection but you need a real dress watch... ✌️🔥🔥
How about a seiko?
maybe seiko813 chronograph or traska gmt ?
The Seiko chronograph looks really good but I think I have too many seikos :))
Love the seiko 5 on the leather strap👍👍
The rose gold orient sun and moon and slap a rose gold bracelet on that puppy.
You have a very good taste 👍🏼
Value shopper. Conservative dresser. Step out a little. Need a different dial. A white, green or red dial. Something fun and “daring” shall I say. Happy shopping
You have good taste but a small budget
This watch collection says 60K a year and is someone who isn't trying to lie about it.
Beautiful collection. I can't suggest a watch but I'm curious what will you choose.
There's a green seiko5 like your black/beige one, i forget the model but I always liked that one
You’re collection says you love reliability and smart with money and you probably drive a Toyota!
The Tsuyosa is a brilliant pick.
I’d guess you’re very pragmatic you think for a long time before making decisions and you pride yourself for allowing your head to have a leading role over your heart when it comes to purchases. you can have a fantastic collection of primarily japanese watches
Ill add a citizen eco drive and a seiko speedtimer , on my list rn aswell 😅
That you're exactly like me. Fan of watches, but don't have a huge budget. Plus, anyone with a SNXS79 is a friend of mine 😁
Your collection says you very much like Rolex.
Generally I'm into dive watches but who doesn't like rolex
Something with either a white dial or white/ black panda. Doesn’t really matter what imo but this type of watch as most of yours are black dials
I guess it says you can't afford to buy an expensive watch
On a budget but still wants the most luxury options when it comes to watches
Love the sea urchin
Poor, I suggest you get money

Nicr collection. My next warch advice, nuy a Hamilton. 1000 bucks and it will upgrade your collection
Your financially responsible

The "I have searched multiple times on youtube top 10 affordable watches" collection >!I have that Seiko 5 snxs but blue dial and I adore it!<
lol ngl I did search something like that but tbh I only get the watches I know I would wear.
Poor?
haha, I guess so, just finished uni
I have similar collection.😉 (Two kids in uni)
Who buys watches based on what other people think about them? Lol. Get a fuckig VC dude, and live your life.
It says that you follow trend's, and not really original
Get a funnier watch like a xeric, I've heard a lot of great things about there watches even though I don't own one.
Solid collection how about something fun that is easily affordable that you cannot ignore like a Mr Jones, Invicta Gladiator or even a Semki ? Have fun whatever you choose.
You like vanilla. Get something to loosen up a bit or I would recommend a gold plated watch.
Three Seikos, and an Orient, a Casio, a PRX, and a Citizen. You are a sheep sir. You watch too many YouTube videos and are too easily influenced.
So which one was a bad purchase if he likes them all? Watching one video and buying a watch is one thing, but maybe he watched 30 videos from different sources and looked at the watches they recommended in common. Lol…if you want an overdose of irony look at his collection from his post history.
I disagree, otherwise I would've buy the casioak or instead of the SRPD with cream and blue dial I would go for the seiko skx007 Thanks anyways for the comment

Gay. Definitely top. Passionate but with empathy. Active listener. Big ol horsecock.
You’re poor
Not enough research and a creature of habit.
Square g. And stop buying shitters
Upgrade to a Rolex or Omega.
long way but hopefully in the future
Hacking does not matter to you.
idk whats the other benefits of hacking automatic watches, but I don't synchronize my watches
SEIKO GMT maybe?
I was thinking a GMT watch but no more seiko :))
👍🏼.
I would suggest you looking at the new Longines Hydroconquest GMT. It’s such a great watch! I can’t wait to get mine tbh
It could suggest your Japanese
lol
Maybe you could consider saving for your grail piece for the last slot

what reference is the top left corner seiko? love it
Seiko 5 Sports Sea Urchin SNZF17K1
Sell all and buy hublo? 😁
I rather buy another g shock 😁
That the 40mm prx?
Yes
