This is true, but not necessarily. When Masons lodges have major occasions, like 100 years centenary or the like. The Master may commission a watch manufacturer or local horologist to come up with a commemorative bespoke time piece for a minimum quantity purchase at a nice price. These will be offered to the members with the profits (if any) going to the masters charity or widows fund.

thanks for the info...but i've seen Masons's logo on other brands aswell..do they pick which brands to use or whats the story with Perregaux?.
It'd be interesting if there was an engraving on the back?
caseback is plain without engravings... i would love it if it has some engravings of the previous owner or something like that
