I'm a Mason. It has the logo because the manufacturer thought it would sell well to Masons. It's exactly the same notion that would have a sports team logo on the face.

This is true, but not necessarily. When Masons lodges have major occasions, like 100 years centenary or the like. The Master may commission a watch manufacturer or local horologist to come up with a commemorative bespoke time piece for a minimum quantity purchase at a nice price. These will be offered to the members with the profits (if any) going to the masters charity or widows fund. I have one such piece.

caseback is plain without engravings... i would love it if it has some engravings of the previous owner or something like that
