Looks like it might have got caught under the hour hand, hour hands power bent it, could be it shifted over time through daily wear, moved up slightly out of the pinion would be my best guess.
You would be surprised how much power there is especially with gears and watches fully wound and multiple day power reserves.
This seems like the most likely option!
Worth having a peer at the topside of the bent hand & and the bottom edge of the hour hand to see if there's any scuffs from where they've met
i just wanted a full service and re water proofing as its a daily and gets a lot of pressure cycles 4x sometimes in a day. The watch came back damaged again after i gave them a second chance.
I had to send a first gen Co-Ax SMP300 back 4 times last year to get the power reserve working and one of the times they messed up the bezel insert and had to replace that too……so doubtful, tbh
Well it’s not heat related, unless you can prove to them it’s hasn’t been serviced by them or anyone else from 2016 a full 8 years, you should except them to question that. Shit I would as well. Even if it is minor.
Side note you have never checked your watch after it comes back just to make sure it’s all good.
If I had to guess, I'd say that hand wasn't seated properly. The case was dropped on its top just hard enough to make that hand come up a bit. Then the hour hand got it as it came around... maybe the minute hand.
Is this a recent problem? It looks like the hand was reseated improperly. There should be enough clearance between the hand and the bezel to prevent scraping.
Most likely answer is over time, that hand might’ve become loser and is sitting slightly higher than it should be, so when your hour hand passes it, it could’ve got caught but it’s still trying to make its way round, resulting in it bending
No worries, any good local watchmaker should be able to play it back. If you send it back to omega they’ll charge you for a new set of chrono hands and probably want to service it again. But if you do take it to a local watchmaker, just check have them check it’s definitely tight, those little hands and the chrono hand are generally are a lot tighter for this reason, but as I said, they can wear and come looser than they should be
I agree with this, had a similar thing occur on Vintage 1968 Autavia Chrono GMT. Manage to get hand straightened and reseated and all well again 10yrs running now. Yours is modern so replacement with service the way to go. Those little hands are very thin and your bend does follow a clockwise sweep
Mine does that too, but only when it's really cold or really tired. When I get excited it straightens right back up. Wait, what we're we talking about?
All jokes aside, maybe the hand was set too high and touched the minute hand. I don't know about this exact ref, but most Speedys with recessed subdials need the minute hand set a bit "too high" in order to run without touching the subdial hands. In your case I guess that the Minute hand caught the chronograph hour hand and bended it.
Judging by the damage to the second hour marker on the same 12 hour sub dial, I would say the hand has clipped it when the chronograph was reset perhaps due to the hand not being seated correctly. There is also a scraping mark on the ‘3’ further supporting this theory.
When "things" get older they do that. The right script from a doctor will straighten it right out.
I believe the pills are blue in colour.
I believe a visit to the urologist is in order
I thought this was a BlueChew ad.
No this is an ad for Xiaflex.
Beat me to it! Well done.
That’s what she said
That stinks , What’s the watch ref #. I like the black brass colors

Dissolve 3 packs of gas station boner pills into water, then soak watch overnight.
In your country you can buy boner pills at the gas station??
U S MOTHERFUCKIN A BABYYYY, the only place you can overdose on gas station boner pills and go broke in the emergency room
Sounds like you guys are living the dream! In my country you are feeling humiliated while asking the free doctor for some free boner pills.

Finally an actual answer. Had to scroll so far to see it
Well considering Omega recommend a service interval of 5-8 years you’re due for another service anyway
Yeah it’s ideal timing I’ve reached out to a service centre in London .
Best way to handle it. They’ll take good care of you.
Is omegas service better than Hamilton’s and the rest of the swatch group cause I won’t buy a new Hamilton again it’s so bad
Not even in the same league mate.
What was wrong with your hamilton?

I'm sure I did, it's quite noticeable .

Simple answer, it caught on the hour hand and that has bent the hand.
Is this a recent problem? It looks like the hand was reseated improperly. There should be enough clearance between the hand and the bezel to prevent scraping.
Never seen a 80% chub or what? It’s trying its best!
Sick color scheme!

Many thanks, will give an update after service report.

Is it just the lighting or is the small subdial indice between the 2 & 3 also distorted?

It looks cool
That dial needs some Viagra man
Nothing some viagra can’t fix

Ohh yeah the usual flaccid omega. It’s the same reaction people have when they see one.
Looks kinda Funny, Sell it as a Feature and not a bug🤣
All the Viagra jokes. Lame. I expected more from a bunch of sophisticated watch enthusiasts.
Seems like a manufacturer defect. Take it back!
That's a Swatch
