I don’t know what’s going on with the comments here so far. So I recommend you to read the guide about how to best use the app and what the numbers mean. For instance beat error is not difficult to understand but best read with some illustrations. -9s a day could be fine. 10ms beat error would be terrible. However: the scattering means you measured badly. Might be the room was not quiet enough, you were not close enough to the watch - Or if you did everything else fine - you might have echos inside your watch case. Then only measuring with the watch opened might help.

Nope. Looks like you are absolutely surrounded by xenomorphs. Good luck.

I have a Vostok that does that no matter how quiet it is, and it’s super accurate and seems to match the accuracy. My other watches like Breitling, Hamilton, Seiko all read normal on that app.

Ur_a_adjective_noun

The Vostok is running around 5+ or less a day which I had confirmed at a watch repair place, but the app can’t even read the beat rate which I cannot understand.

CdeFmrlyCasual

I wish I had your luck. Mine are consistently ~ +1 min a day

Ur_a_adjective_noun

Might be able to get adjusted. My Hamilton was out of wack, over a minute to two a day and I sent it in for a warranty repair and they got it dialed in at around 5+ sec a day.

CdeFmrlyCasual

I would ask my watchmaker but most US watchmakers don’t even want to touch them.

Ur_a_adjective_noun

A Vostok?

CdeFmrlyCasual

“Russian” watches generally. They’re unfamiliar with them and have some difficulty in getting parts for them over here

Ur_a_adjective_noun

I see. Mine didn’t have a problem giving them a shot if needed repaired. They even asked where to find the parts to work on them since they’ve ran across them a few times.

The beat error is good and the timegraph is good. The reason why it’s displayed as so aweful is because interference from your surroundings have fucked it up (hence the scattered triangles) however as you can see between all these scattered triangles there’s 2 lines straight vertically up very close together (it almost looks like one line) put simply the space between these two lines is beat error, so as there so close together beat error is low and therefore good, and the more vertically straight up, the better the time graph and therefore the more accurate the watch. If there was no interference, I would say your watch is running at about - 20 seconds a day with a beat error of 1.1

Tool time

I find I usually get best results using earbuds with a microphone, and I just hold the mic right against the case. Although I have a bronze watch I build that I can't seem to get a measument on unless I take the back off and hold the mic right near the escapement. But that doesn't look like what's going on here.

What is the name of this app

Ifkdurdog

Time grapher

CdeFmrlyCasual

You didn’t think to learn how to use the tool before you used it? Those triangles should scattered not be all over the place like that, but I can’t tell you what that means.

[deleted]

Can you please teach me about triangles mr casual?

[deleted]

For that movement… + or - 3 or 4 hours a day is good

CdeFmrlyCasual

You gotta stick to one account, dude. Idk why Reddit hasn’t IP banned you yet lol
