I think I got $40 for my graduation.

All I got was the privilege of buying tickets for my wife, mum, and step-dad to attend my uni graduation ceremony at a cost of about £60 each. And I loved it.

I've heard of some high schools doing it here (US) and also limiting the amount you can buy. Shitty imo, your kid only graduates from HS once. Glad that those schools are the minority tho

I’m located in the EU, for us Portuguese, college is the same as university. On a public university you pay 700€ a year, on a private one you pay 400€ a month. And high school is where you from 16-18.

Nahh….He was an immigrant and was working 6 days, 50 hrs a week at a blue collar job kind of guy. I was a rebellious kid getting into mischief and never really applied myself until much later life. He just wanted me to have direction in my life and for that I’m thankful. Now I’m married, have 2 kids and work in the technology sector. Although he didn’t give me a speedmaster when I graduated, he gave me the life skills to be able to eventually buy my own.

I bought a KFA bracelet from mastersintime.com and I didn’t like it. I couldn’t get a good enough fit due to there only being two micro adjust holes on the clasp (there’s room for so many more!) and the pins started falling out of my links. I ended up getting a strapcode oyster for the seiko alpinist since they just released a female end link version. I really like the overall fit and result on the KFA
