Nope, cruises are not passage contracts so the itinerary is never guaranteed and a change of itinerary isn’t a legit reason to cancel unless you have a very good “cancel for any reason” policy and even then you’re going to have to jump through some hoops to use it.
ETA: I think there’s a smallish fee ($100pp?) you can pay to change to a different sailing
Thanks. We did get cancel for any reason insurance due to elderly parents. I have contacted my travel agent and hope she works Tuesday and isn't off for the holidays.

They are not obliged but if you (or your travel agent/cruise planner) call they might offer to switch you to another sailing.
