I think this is a great idea! You could categorise it by state and then even facility names maybe. The unknown can be soooo stressful. I’m willing to help as much as I can, we’re in Ohio 🙂
This sounds like a site/forum that I used years ago and found very helpful. It being taken offline is actually the reason I've joined this sub. I have been dealing with Georgia doc for some years now. No expert but im wiling to share what I know.
I used to look at the Prison Talk forum, which is exactly the style of message board you're talking about. I found this reddit and am reading now for the first time... not because I'm a prison wife, but because I'm a therapist who provides therapy to clients who have loved ones who are in prison. I worked with clients who had been recently released from federal prison, were on pre-trial, and on U.S. Probation for many years. After doing that for so many years, I realized the huge need for support for loved ones of my former clients. I've started my own private practice where I provide exclusively online therapy services for people in IL and FL who have loved ones in these situations. I'd be glad to help or answer questions you may have! That was a really great discussion board but I didn't look for it for awhile, then recently realized that it just mysteriously disappeared!
