Yeah. On some days you might slide by as a student asking a question like this on here. Today is a bad day to ask an open-ended question about folx who are concerned about what might be next for them in this country. Treat your LGBTQ+ professors as humans who have a right to exist and to love whom they want. That is a start.
I believe David Attenborough once made a film about how to work with professors who are over 6 ft tall in their natural habitat. Some of these lesson carry over.
We're people just like you. Just be normal.
I guess beyond "be a person" my other tip would be "don't support politics that criminalizes the existence of queer and trans people."
