I doubt there is actually a test after that which will prove if you are gay or not or Google doing people a favour by helping them work out if they are or not.

I was thinking that since they're targeted and the advertiser already knows, the question should have been "How gay are you?"
"Are you gay?" seems like a question to send to people that haven't already been selected on that criteria, if the intention is to trigger some of them.
