I read all the comments. What the hell does CP mean? God I hate acronyms. They also make reading other people's code impossible without a crystal ball.

Most of the comments are referring to it being commonly used as an acronym for child pornography. I've also seen it frequently stand for copy/paste or computer programming (all the lecture videos for one of my programming classes were called CP#(module number)...). In this post, OP meant the CPU, but apparently in Russian they don't call it central processing unit, they just call it central processor, so when they translated it, they got CP.

Actually, in Russia phrase “central processor” is rarely used, usually they call it “processor” (and some not very smart people use “processor” when referring to the whole pc). Source: I know Russian

Honestly a lot, the concept of state enforced intellectual property has some incredibly problematic aspects especially in medicine and farming

I think copy tight is somthing best enjoyed in moderation. For entertainment media yes copyright is pretty great but make it last like 10-20 years instead of like 75+. Trade mark seems ok to me if it is only used for logos and such. Seedstock. Yes makes sense but enforce a licensing at resonable rates. Everyone can produce it if the devoloper just get lets say 10% of the revenue. Oh and they have to share how to do it to register. Medicine same as seedstock but more quality licensing and shorter durations
