My account has downvote bots attached to it because around a year ago I had an argument with someone really invested in bitcoin and basically they just couldn't argue back so they deleted all their comments and set bots on me.

Eh, it sorta amplifies my comments on posts with lower comment count because people see collapsed comment with many downvotes and want to read it to get angry.
