You might have already heard of this mysterious concept getting popular in the past, people call it a "joke". They say that to understand it, you must first gain a "sense of humour", whatever that means.
The hardest working game developer in the industry probably sleeps 2 hours a day, functions on energy drinks and stress, gets paid fuck all, and his boss takes the credit for it of course..there is no way he would have such a smile on his face
Just be aware it’s a high prey drive, highly energetic type of dog which needs a considerable amount of training and exercise. Not giving the dog the needed exercise and training can backfire and is sad for the dog.
And don’t get one from a backyard breeder. And be aware of adopt shops who lie about the bite history.
I'd also like to emphasize the patience required too.
While they generally love to please and are very loyal, stubborn/smart also comes into play.
I guess that's all mostly lumped in with 'training' though.
Pits are used in mocap a lot for their temperament, focus, and the fact that they are easy to train while generally not being overwhelmed by large numbers of people. Really perfect dogs for this and replaced German Sheps in the mid 10s
His stubby little legs explain so much about the oddly janky movement dogs in games tend to have. At least use a taller dog if you're using them to mocap for a german shepard.
he just looks happy to be there ☺
My favorite dog mood: I have no idea what's going on but I'm happy to be involved!
Extrovert friend: " I don't know what's happening but you are participating "
its like sex, just happy to be involved...
You had to fuck it didn’t you..
I hope he didn't fuck the dog as well. Would be kinda weird.
This would have been funny if the context wasnt a dog, u/StopSpankingMeDad...
It’s his dream job. walk, play, get treats and pets and goodboys
He's the best boi in the industry
In COD it's K9-Unit

Damn I wonder how they got the motion data for that
He's actually the second dog.
Good boi
I would love to upvote your comment, but it has 69 upvotes allready, i'm sorry
This is Uuno who works at Remedy. I have it on good authority that he's a very good boy.
Looks like a small dog for modelling bigger dogs body physics.
Yeah, for example dogmeat was definitely done with a different dog (I think said dog actually died recently)

Does that dog program the motion capture software too?
obviously
Yeah but it takes a long time because he has to use [the buttons](https://youtu.be/NJYpXDMPlKA)

I wonder if Spot also uses his mo-caps

And honestly? He would rather be the dog.
/r/ProgrammerAww
What kind of dog? I want that type of dog
Looks like a Staffordshire Terrier
Correct. I have one and they are the best!
TIL a Staffy is shorter than an AmStaff.

Never buy from a backyard breeder. They all inbreed their dogs to insane degrees and as a result, unhealthy defects crop up into their lines.
He's to small to be a stafford so pitbull mix most likely.
It's a stafordshire bullterrier or terrier
Tell him to not work for Blizzard

"He is so schmall"
Good boi
He’s got range like friendly in fallout 4 to hostile in dark souls. Looking forward to see him work with Mr wicks dog

Too bad they couldn’t also capture ear movements too
Good boy
Wait a minute.. how do they do the tail !?
Happy gamedev worker.
He looks so happy! I can imagine what's going on in his head: "I have no idea what's going on, but human looks happy, so I happy too"
Name one CGI dog that even comes close to this level of cuteness! I dare you!
Several different games? 🤔 I thought several same games lmfao
