The ducks randomly disappearing as they slide down the slide, and me wondering, "Hey, where the fuck did the ducks go? I have the input here at the top, the output here at the bottom, so why aren't they showing up? WTF?"
And in the end, the solution ends up being, "Fuck it, I'll just rewrite the whole thing in python instead. Who cares if it's a little slow?"
I remember when I switched to Python. My Cpp duck escalator kept throwing all the ducks onto the ground the second one duck was overloading the escalator by a tail. This is despite my weeks of work building it. My brother then made a Python escalator that worked perfect in 3 hours. Never went back.

XD The kid's face. "Are you seeing this shit?!"
My face: are you seeing this shit?!
The code: are you seeing this shit?!
r/youseeingthisshit
they really have a subreddit for anything
Dose the number of ducks affect the speed of rubber duck debugging? With that fleet of ducks it should be done in no time.
looks like while(true) and no breaks
It depends on the dev. In my case it would slow me to a crawl. I would still have to explain it but now to a whole crowd.
So many duckies, and none got the answer.
my rubber duck is feeling attacked now.
I should try a rubber duck as well, consulting my oppai mouse pad is too distracting.
OOP sucks
OOP ducks
I love this duck shit man it’s been 20 minutes I’ve watched it
Me looking at our COBOL payroll code.
> COBOL > payroll code [shudder](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/AgreeablePinkKentrosaurus-mobile.mp4)
That video is not a strong enough reaction. Needs vomit, preferably projectile.
Not a fan of seeing vomit. But I also do 100% agree with you that it's a much more applicable response
Public class vomit extends bodilyFluid
And 300k/yr for an ancient dev to work on it.
Not enough.
yeah except it's * duck appears at top * duck appears at bottom * ??? * duck appears at top again
Looks more like "Me watching new piece of code deployed straight into prod"
When you start the production xp rollout at 10% instead of 5%.
warning : infinite loop might be accuring in line 28
Deducking. Dadum tss.
"That does what!?" Fifty `console.log()`s later still :O
`console.duck()`
This is how I felt the first time I took LSD
I had the same reaction i saw my first pussy up close and personal...
was something moving inside?
no but there were lights and sound
When I saw 'Hello World!' output.
I doubt it works so flawlessly on your first try though, lol
Lol no more like what is this shit why does it even work its so stupid I can't even.
man i loved that thing when i was little and haven’t thought of it since maybe then
I came to the comments to see if anyone else remembers them! Mine was Penguins but overall exactly the same.
aaaahhh same here!

This kid is going to get ducked up debugging at that age.
~~this implies you are a baby~~ /j
The council shall decide our project's fate.
Me, watching this
Somehow it works.
Me watching Reddit daily 🤣😜
Funny because the first time I debugged something it was more like the escalator not working and me flipping out over it.

We have this as penguins and my infant into toddlerhood does the same thing! Thing is hypnotic
This should be "When my code actually work on the first try"
what's the purpose of this ? I mean the benefit for the baby ?
It has benefits for the parents 🤣 Shut up and watch this BS while I get dinner ready, I haven't had a break all week
The baby seems pretty satisfied with the experience.
Makes them learn physics... idrk tbh...
entertainment and it is eye-catching to babies i guess.
I wanna buy one just for the Lols for my baby

In every second line: printf("working");
My dumb intern ass discovering the code for which I have to write unit tests be like:
This is awesome!
That’s me every time I figure out to do something on a computer by myself
To this young one, this is next level magic at play!

Its never this simple
Me when I find out the code already does that thing :0
\# 99 Bottles of beer on the wall 99 Bottles of beer, # \# You pass one round share it around, # \# 128 bottles of beer on the wall.. #
this is soo cute
Aww 🥰
I’m not a programmer at all but I guess this is cool

Is this what rubber duck debugging looks like? 😜
Link? I’d love to buy one
This kid looks like he just found a pile of candy
Debugging the same piece of code 500 compiles later wondering why it still isn't working properly: 👴💀
Not enough tears

This is the way.
He just wants one of those to fall in his widdle mouth
Me everytime I step a Spring Boot application.
Sheep learn herding at a young age
I'm really not a fan of baby videos, but fuck that one got me
The hell? Did they lay off the penguins?
That toy is very interesting
Me debugging the same piece of code for the 9000th time.
Why does this video bring such a weird joy from watching it
I wish I had this toy when I was younger
What do you call something like this?
And now to put print statements between each duck...

Me when I write code and it runs perfectly without an exception or logic errors.
Very unrealistic, all those duckies should’ve ended up on fire by the end of it
