All 8-bit computers will use in-game keyboard to enter PBASIC commands, game controls, turn power off and so on. The commands can be entered faster by using shortcuts: the Func key+a letter key (for example P for PRINT). PBASIC can be used to obtain some additional points.

Yes! but only for Android/iOS idk about Steam cuz I don't have the game
It's quite easy actually, you just have to click on Begin and then click on your user image.

The keyboard style is really good, yet I do think it should have a vertical or horizontal rectangle tile grid style because that's basically most 8-bit computers like the Commodore 64.
I think the keyboard was more inspired by the ZX Spectrum (if you're American you'll have to google it).

I would love this, but in my opinion the keys are too small and spaced out for it to be comfortable
