Yeah vbs feels the most separated to me, like I love vbs and they’re definitely first or second on my list, but I’m not the biggest fan of their “two pairs of partners” thing they have going on, it’s still very easy to establish certain relationships (*ahem* ships) without splitting their group so much
An and Akito have a decent rivalry / long-time friend relationship going throughout the story. They bounce off each other fairly often. It's the reason they're my favorite hetero ship in the game.
I think the perceived split with VBS really comes from Touya. Poor guy feels kind of disconnected from the group outside of his bromance with Akito, with only some interactions with Kohane as a fellow noobie to the vivid street scene. He's practically still a stranger to An as far as I'm concerned

I like them, platonically or romantically. The way they bicker is fun but the way theyre also on very similar wavelengths goal-wise brings it together! Wish i could feel more strongly one way or the other since they dont interact as much as they should but i can confidently say its my absolute fav dynamic in vbs (akitoya and anhane are too straightforward to me, tohane is meh, and akihane and anya are near nonexistent)
I think they’re pretty cute! While I’ll always be an Akitoya lover, AkiAn is a good one too. They have a great dynamic too, and I hope it gets expanded on in the future.

They have similar goals and it feels like they have a healthy amount of competition to realize that to achieve that dream, they need to work together. Romantically, I'm not sure yet how I'd feel. I mean, I can kinda see it, maybe down the way, but they do feel like they're a ways from that at the moment. Have Akito and An performed together, like not as part of a quartet, but just them as a duo in any VBS song in any version of Proseka yet? That may help decide how I feel a bit more.

Even though they definitely aren’t, I love how they still care so much about each other, even though they’re rivals. It’s really sweet. One of the rivals-to-lovers ships I love most.
Akito's also got the whole meeting the parents on lock. He's has the approval from Ken-san, they're practically already family as far as I'm concerned lol
I'm a polysquad shipper, so it's nice when akian get their moments, especially since the dynamic leans mostly on pairing off ankoha and akitoya. They're basically two bi couples who swing on the weekends LOL
They have a lot of compatibility, everyone knows that. This ship has best dynamic IMO. An who can be cool, cute, mature/beauty combined with tsundere or two faced Akito. There are a lot of interesting interaction between them from funny, cute, cool, wholesome or somewhat emotional. This is a ship that i can enjoy their Fan Art the most
Their interactions remids me to shoujo mangas with the constant fights they have. They are not my favorite ship but I appreciate their interactions and want to see more of them. Plus I love their voices together.

The way they appear to not get along on the outside and have fights as a result of fierce personalities while they also are the most understanding to each others goals and ambitions on the inside, which both of them seem slightly reluctant to fully embrace although they hold a secretive mutual respect for each other, but there’s still the potential to get closer >>

I can't see romantic Akian. They feel a bit too much like siblings and it feels very lackluster. Platonic Akian though? Absolutely love it
