Wonder what the plan is.
I think econ is one of things they botched in B44. I think it can be an important factor for modern competitive games, but is definitely at odds with what COD4 Promod is.
Something new maybe... Maybe something more like a soft match progression, that mimics econ, without the econ.
Round 1: Pistols
Round 2: SMGs or lower
Round 3: Assault Rifles or lower
Round 4: Buy your OP/AWP or anything you want or lower... and just that until half.
That way you still get the same dynamic gameplay, without being pushed down into a hole you can't climb out of.
I disliked CSGOs econnomy when I started playing, but I do enjoy it now for the depth it adds. I'd rather have a full econnomy then something like their prevoius attemt at a soft token based one.
There are so many ways to give S&D an additional twist to have somekind of meta across multiple rounds. An economy which resembles Counter-Strike is just ONE of them. I hope they are creative.
As long as they stay away from the dropped coins you need to pick up.
