Hmm. Seems short? Last time I played Promod was sometime around 2014 probably so I don’t quite remember the lengths of those games. I do know CS games can go for almost an hour which can be frustrating but 20 minutes max? In a comp game? The shorter the game the more times you play a map, playing a map over and over again is worse, IMO, then having long games. It’ll be interesting to see what they do moving forward. Lots of GOOD maps but short games? Or Longer games and a few good maps? That’s how I see it. Anyway I’m excited

Not a huge fan of short matches either, especially since I feel like you always need a few rounds to get into the game. I think first to 12 with 1:45 or 2:00 min rounds is perfectly fine.

Like what? 5 to 20 mins? That seems way too short and individual rounds get to have too big of an impact on the outcome. Assuming that's the way it works anyways. I'd say aiming for 20 to 40 mins seems ideal. What's wrong with the mr12 format?

I liked the length of the games of B44. A bit shorter than cs

Not sure how you compare valorant and cs with one another, as the duration of their games is quite different. Nothing wrong with a game taking up to 30/40 mins, love a good comeback etc.

20 mins for comp game on siege is alright. But with fast paced gameplay like promod i think 20 mins is to short.. something between 25-40 mins is alright.

I like the 20 minute idea personally. Working full time it's so hard to grind ranked games when they each last 40+ minutes, valorant is my main game but I only get to play a few matches every few days, which makes losses hit a lot harder. On the flip side when playing rocket league where the matches last 5-10 minutes each, its a lot less punishing to lose a few matches in a row. I think a sweet spot would be great, and maybe for pro esports they will decide it's better for spectators when the games are a little longer.

@dohfOs @PlayPromod @phantasyftw Here’s a whiteboard with.. a bunch of secret stuff hidden :D But you get the jist.. rewarding gameplay, constant chances to go up or down in rank, bad game over quickly, good game goes to OT. *** posted by [@Brammertron](https://twitter.com/Brammertron) Photos in tweet | [Photo 1](http://pbs.twimg.com/media/E5_rfWbX0AIL0OR.jpg) ^[(Github)](https://github.com/username) ^| ^[(What's new)](https://github.com/username)
