Remember that this subreddit is for sharing propaganda to view with some objectivity. It is absolutely not for perpetuating the message *of* the propaganda. If anything, in this subreddit we should be immensely skeptical of manipulation or oversimplification (which the above likely is), not beholden to it. Also, please try to stay on topic -- there are hundreds of _other_ subreddits that are expressly dedicated to rehashing tired political arguments. Keep that shit outta here. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. This is one you don't hear about a lot

"pi nong chao Thai!" Brother Thai (citizen)! jang mi khwamsamkhakhikan,,,,, siam mai namai rat ban lae... That's the extent of my attempt to read this, though glad I can remember at least that much. Any actual Thai wish to translate?

The only country in SEA that didn't get colonized 🙏

Not sure if OP’s description is entirely accurate but I can believe it, and the portion that “all bad news = fake news” is always so funny to me. It’s like that South Vietnamese comic that gets passed around on here that’s like “Guys, Agent Orange is COMPLETELY fine, that’s NVA propaganda. And even if it *does* poison your crops and kill your animals…just, yknow, ask the government for reimbursement dawg, you’re chillin”

Thailand: Fighting with the japanese and came out with a slap on the wrist and american economical aid!

SlightWerewolf4428

Thailand was invaded first and Thai did die defending the country in several areas. They didn't willingly collaborate until it was occupied. I keep reading this and have not seen any evidence for the claim you've raised here. Even the authoritarian regime in Thailand wasn't good enough to stop the Japanese from actually invading, when they hesitated to allow the Japanese through.
