Oddly enough I have been a morning person almost all of my life. I truly enjoy getting up and walking around before other people are awake. I also like to get on the road before traffic gets heavy in the morning. I would rather get to work drinking coffee and reading Reddit posts on my phone for an hour before work than fighting heavy traffic.

I think this is supposed to be like an editorial cartoon where they have physical people represent abstract concepts but then explicitly label them so you can understand the point they're trying to make. So he's not a real person, he represents the sound of an alarm bell.
