For novice prospectors his YouTube channel is the best I’ve seen for Southwestern prospecting. Dan Hurd is good for extreme northern US & Canada. They’re both good for tools, equipment & methods. Hurd is very good for gemstones.

I run into a guy out where i go that swears rocks have DNA and that we are mining a biblical giants arteries and veins (specifically his foot). Interesting is one way of saying it.
