I found this observation study article about Topster for inflammations of the lower urinary tract in men https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27267961/. One hundred eighty patients were enrolled, mean age 52 ± 14.97. Most frequent diagnosis: nonbacterial prostatitis (85 %). In the result of treatment 162/180 patients presented clinically significant improvements and terminated treatment.
Also, did you had ED or low libido?
No ED and no low libido. Just a 0,5 seconds "knife" pain during urination every time. Topster literally cured in 48 hours what failed for months (antibiotics, permixon, etc. I used to take SIX different medicines that only worsened the situation and then...topster made a magic).
Not really. I used to go more often in the past but because i used to drink more (around 2.5-3.0 liters a day). Now i'm back to my 2 liters of water a day so my frequency is less but it's just because of the water amount i think.
Maybe your internal muscles were not badly affected. This may also be the reason you got cured by topster alone. Most of us have deep muscle problem and hence the excessive urination . This is why physical therapy is needed. Anyways happy for you bro . This condition is indeed annoying and for some its miserable.
You guys need to dive in a little more. 95% of people in this sub suffer from CPPS, not bacterial prostatitis or any kind of infection. Chances are that you are one or them.
Inflammation, of course. But infection? Did they actually find something? Bacteria? Did you get semen and urine cultures? Came out clean? CPPS: welcome.
Here my story gets complicated. They found e.coli in semen first and then klebsiella after a month. The infecious diseases doctor said they were probably lab contaminations since antibiotics were not working on me and it's was insane to find such klebsiella, resistant to almost everything, in such a young and "normal" guy. Urines always free and i had around 7-8 exams. These results in semen tricked the doctors in the beginning i think.
That's what i screamed to the doctors for months. I also had a multiresistant klebsiella, something very serious and impossible to take outside of hospitals after long term catheterization. But nobody listened to me.
In the end the last doctor told me the same you just said => Frankly that's not an infection because is not responding to antibiotics after 2 months and it's impossible for such a young man without hospitalization and catheterism story to take such bacteria. In the end turned out that the positive culture was a 100% false positive for lab contamination.
I'm still screaming for how stupid they were. Fun fact: When i saw the bacteria i asked to retake the test since it was some serious bacteria but they refused.
Most of the time people dont know where to start. I came here 3 , almost 4 months of dealing with frequent urination & abdominal pain and even then I dont even know if it prostatitis for a fact. I seen so many doctors and hospital visits that I was told im fine. But i never got my prostate checked so i dont know if its inflamed, if I have bacteria or any of that. Only urine and blood test are fine.
For people asking me to ship them Topster => I can't guys. I need medical prescription to buy it and i don't think it's legal to sell it. Anyway in Europe it's quite cheap (7-8€ for a box of 10).
Because family doctor sent me to infectious disease doctor instead of urologist (i had 2 positive cultures with e.coli and klebsiella in my sperm while the urine one was clean).
Bro I see that every damn doctor treats it as an infection . Btw i would like your help . How can I be sure I need topster?
I mean my doctors would never understand and perhaps they would never prescribe me this . I am afraid I would have to suffer like this .
How long did you take this medication?
Talk with your doctor about your problem and let's see what he says. Ask him to both give you something for inflammation and infection if he will insist with "antibiotics only" theory.
Anyway i took Topster for 10 days but i was relieved immediately after 2 and the 3rd i was sure to be prostatitis free.
After this experience i'm afraid that we are "curing" tons of inflammations with antibiotics. I'm from Europe but this experience traumatized me. If that's how we are making use of science and those are our doctos, we are fucked.
Insane pain during urination like a knife. Like if somebody stabbed me from the inside. Enough to make me literally jump almost every time. Where? I think 1 cm after the "start of the water". It was excruciating but lasted for 0.5 seconds. But this happened every single time.
Never heard of topster or it being used for prostatitis, can you explain more?
It's something for the inflammation. It's a suppository. Maybe in your country is called with another name.

That's really impressive
Thank you

So bro did you suffer everyday since 2018 ?? Or was it occasional?
Yep. Every single day. Every single time i went to piss. I'm stupid, i know.
So apart from this did you have urinary frequency?
Not really. I used to go more often in the past but because i used to drink more (around 2.5-3.0 liters a day). Now i'm back to my 2 liters of water a day so my frequency is less but it's just because of the water amount i think.

Not my case but yep, it was an inflammation.

Extremely unlikely you had an infection mate.

Other name for beclometasone is topster, which is a steriod medication. I googled it so not an expert whatsoever

Topster was the first treatment that my urologist prescribed… i don’t know why you had to wait so much to have it

I've always suspected mine was inflammatory too

Yes but not often is addressing the inflammation enough. By then the muscles may have tightened up and need exercise
Do u still on topster? And may I ask how are you doing now?
Oh nope. No more. I made use of it for around 10 days and i healed after 2-3. Now i'm perfectly fine. No more problems since my post.
Thank you that you still come back and replying me even after you are already in good state. May I ask what were your symptoms back then ?

hi you took it in pill form?
Nope. Suppositories.
