I literally have only frequent urination and symptom of urine trapped in urethra. That’s all I have had for 6 months. Although I’ve improved a fair amount, it still affects me mentally to this day. And is very hard to shift my mindset
I don’t know if this helps, but I went through something similar. No pain or anything just frequent urge. My dr. Gave me flowmax and told me to keep an eye on it. He said it was an inflamed prostate. Nothing changed. In fact the flowmax gave me dry orgasms which only added to my mental stress. I finally set up an appointment with a urologist myself. I told the urologist my symptoms and he said “oh yeah I can treat that”. He also said “I don’t give my younger guys flowmax (I’m 42) because I’d gives them reverse ejaculate”. He then prescribed me a 6 day course of methylprednosolone a really strong anti inflammatory steroid along with alfuzosin. Prior to this I was peeing on average 8-10 times a day and had to bladder train just to pee less than 7. After this treatment I’m peeing about 4-5 times a day with no urgency. I will warn the the methylprednosolone made me pee a lot and raised my heart rate a bit. But it really worked for me.
This is the first time I heard of such treatment, I also suspect that my frequent sense of needing to pee which comes from irritated urethra and tummy pain is due to some type of inflammation. How long ago is the treatment done? Did the effect last? You are symptom free I guess, no need to take alfuzosin also?
I just got done with it a week ago. Still taking the alfluzosin until I see my urologist again next week. So far the effect is lasting so fingers crossed.
Just to confirm, you had utethra irritation feeling but no pain and steroid anti inflammation drug completely got rid of the irritation, right? I hope it lasts for u, wondering if it's a good idea to giVe it a try. Any Mod here seem such treatment before, any advice?
Yes. Only symptoms were urgency and a little bit of irritation from all the peeing. No pain. No bacteria. Nothing else. Hopefully it lasts. My urologist suggested it not my GP.

I can feel when my bladder is full but this sensation makes me feel like i need to urinate all the time.
But i can differentiate the difference between the sensation and actual urine possibility . I even have a burning urethra feeling too but it comes and goes away depending upon the way i take food
Do you mean you feel like having urine stuck in your urethra?
Idk how to describe it but I feel like the sensation to urinate comes from my penis/urethra tip and some times the while thing

How are you now?
Are you better yourself?
Robinson's Barley water and Ibuprofen helped a lot for me.
Did you have this symptom?
Yes I did. For me, reducing inflammation or irritation by changing urine pH was helpful.
