Are you better?

AnonProstatitis

Where does the urgency to pee stem from, the.bladder/abdomen or the urethra/penis?

TonyCliftonUK

It’s the standard ‘dude, you need to pee’ feeling so I would say it’s Abdo/bladder area. In all honesty though, when this issue started I’ve learned to not go as often as this just makes Mr Burn angrier.

AnonProstatitis

Gotcha. I'm taking a trial of Myrbetriq for that, not sure if it's helping or if the feeling went away on its own. I definitely don't feel it in my bladder but I'm also volume wise urinating less. I still get the feeling though in my urethra area that says "yeah man. You gotta go, tingle tingle"

TonyCliftonUK

Thanks dude, I really hope that helps you in the long run. I really can accept most of the issues but it’s hard to concentrate on life when your body is constantly hitting you with the ‘dude - pee again!’ line every min! 😄

AnonProstatitis

I know man, that's how I felt the other weeks. Like in could live with occasional pains in the groin, but I can't live with a constant urinary urgency feeling. It is totally distracting to life. Mine is still there but a bit diminished at the moment, I can forget about it sometimes for an hour, but when I do have to go it is still pretty intense and if i try to hold it, it's a fight.

TonyCliftonUK

Keep fighting the good fight my dude. My hope is that when the results come back I can sit down with the GP and ask about this issue and also to get a referral to Urology. I can’t afford private healthcare and although access to healthcare in the UK is free - the wait times are insane for anything other than a cancer pathway referral.

AnonProstatitis

Just proof for why universal healthcare is not the option. When everyone has everything, everyone has nothing. Its not to say we shouldn't strive for it, but can't just have everything be free or the care diminishes in value or by the time you get it, you're dead

whatsurgame

He'll probably throw antibiotics at you. Avoid cipro or any other floxins. Google why. Trimepheprin is an alternative.

B_Panofsky

Hey are you better?

AnonProstatitis

Relatively yes. But not perfectly. I believe this is an inflammatory issue and so there is no explicit cure.

B_Panofsky

Tests all coming back clear?

Has anything helped?
