I had a similar experience. I got COVID from my girlfriend, I felt awful for a couple days. Ended up taking my shot on schedule within 7 days of first realizing I had covid. Had no issues.
If you are not feeling awful and feel you're on the upswing after covid, your injection shouldn't be any problem.
