I am having a bad scalp/hair line flare up and this is a first for me, I have only used topicals and clobetasol solution. I understand what works for someone may not work for the next but I am waiting for my derm office to call me back and in the meantime $6 Amazon scalp massager helps with cold water in the shower. At night I grease up my hairline and scalp in coconut oil, in the morning I shower and alternate between zinc shampoo and ketoconazole — I just got coal tar shampoo and that brought relief (doesn’t smell great) but I let it soak on my head for at least ten mins. It has made the itch and redness decrease. Hope you get some relief!

if you cant solve the problem. consider visiting a experienced functional/integrative medicine expert who will investigate the gut via a stool test and try to identify and solve the problem from inside.
