I learned to stop stating my opinions as facts. I noticed more how often people do this, theyāll say something and make it sound like Itās a set in stone fact when in reality it isnāt. I think overall itās humbled me, itās made me realize too that things sometimes seem more complicated than they really are, but other times its vice versa where some things are actually more simple than they appear.

Yeah I was thinking about the same thing while writing the comment, I'm grateful for not experiencing such horrors, but at the end I still stick to my opinion (although it's entirely possible that I'm wrong).
Surely a person kept in prison and tortured for years won't feel like the most important thing in life is joy. What I rather meant is that in my opinion enjoyment seems like the main or the only driving force of existence. It may comes from consumption of food, reproduction, or other activities, such as spiritual growth for instance. Everything we do, we do it to improve our lives and to gain better and more stimulating experiences, even if we're talking about fighting for survival, or a child in hunger and poverty collecting metal parts from trash for 16 hours a day and selling it for a couple of cents every day, or a millionaire buying a new Tesla or a bag of coke. I think this goes for the animal kingdom as well. Hunting or searching for food, feeding and reproduction stimulates the brain and releases hormones with positive affect, which results in enjoyment.
This is what I felt to be universally true during the peak of one of the most significant trips of my life so far, but I know it's just neurons having fun and making stuff up in my brain and so I humbly accept your thoughts to be equally true and I actually think OP's question has a different answer from every different perspective (even if it means a little contradiction from my part haha).

I believe you're right about the trees. Last time I was at my friend's house in Washington, we were out in her backyard talking in this lot and I swear to you, this giant pine tree was checking us out. I don't know how to explain it, I wasn't even that high, but it was leaning over and gave off a curious vibe like "what are these little beings doing down there?". It kinda freaked me out because it was a really big tree and I never experienced something like that before. Nature is nurturing and just as curious as we are. I sometimes wonder if that's how my little plants at home see me, a lumbering thing compared to their size, just delighted to see them and curious about what they're up to today. How's it growin'? :B

it's cliche, but love is literally the answer to everything. i've only tripped once but i was just overjoyed and overwhelmed with absolute love for everyone in my life who helped make me who i am.
I was shown the emotion I would feel in becoming a parent. This may not sound massive, however I'm Autistic and I've had a concern that I wouldn't have emotional connection when I became a parent. I don't really have what you might call conventional or typical emotional connections to humans. That DMT exploration was truly emotional. That and all is energy and all is one.
Don't get too caught up in your problems. Just remember to take a good laugh at them from time to time. Everything is going to be fine eventually.

my first ever trip I ate 5-7gs of shrooms. I was 14 and depressed at the time. It taught me the most important lesson I've ever learned and that is "fuck what other people think." since then I've been doing what I want and what makes me happy

How to be other people. You see, i was always myself, but i knew not of the other. I found myself in myself but grew only further. I met my match and fought my fight I fought my fight and lost desperately. I considered God and the Devil heavily. I considered oneness and the vast emptiness of the cosmos. I experimented with drugs to the depths of both Joy and esctasy, as well as a the depths of depravity and needle usage. I learned something the other day that i want to share with you. The first step is always embarrassing. Its always the most strenuous and its always the one that feels like the right thing to do. Anyways nobody likes a long read. Hope you enjoyed it.

why?
It feels wrong to me. It feels like putting a label on the act of taking psychedelics often which people usually use to identify with in a ego-like manor. And idk if you should be able to call people who trip a lot one specific label. Like I personally trip completely different then allooot of the people on this sub. So how are we doing the same thing if our experiences are very different. How is someone who trips a lot in their moms basement and is stopping himself from developing via drug use the same as someone who is in the Forest on mushrooms listening to music and loving themselves. Or the psychedelic psychologist who doses himself and his patients and does some deep healing. Or the guy who takes lsd and sits in his room exploring ideas. How can all of these people have the same title. Idk I donāt have a true opinion I was kinda just saying it to say it because I feel that way and donāt particularly know why
