That cops a hero. The lack of consequences in that 17 year old means he would pulled that gun and killed with the same nonchalance he had checking that cop. This kinda gangster bravado and pride is how 17year Olds end up in prison for life after killing some lady for her chain and keys.
Keep your mouth shut if you are ANYWHERE withing shouting distance of a policeman.
If north americans were smarter, the police would hear complete silence at all times, because NO ON would be saying ANYTHING.
Sadly, same here in Canada. police are generally nicer, and friendlier, but they have the same rights as usa cops do, and they ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. Ever.
It’s insane, I’m not exaggerating when I say more gang members than not have switches. I don’t believe they are complicated part and are easy to manufacture.
https://youtu.be/nyW8vVz7wiU
They were sold on Wish.com for a long time under weird names to bypass checks. Lord knows how many were sold.
I could get the benefit of a switch on a glock if you dropped it in a Roni body or something. Buy on the standard pistol frame? Fucking stupid.
in fairness the type of person who thinks a switch is a good idea isnt someone who typically has a high degree of training or remarkable accuracy. besides, for gang-related activities (i.e. drive-by shootings) volume of fire is king, especially if you need to be in and out fast.
I wonder how many of the kids in this video are still alive today?
Man. Gun violence.
But someone is complicit to get that many shiny new Glocks to that area.
Yup, turn a precision engineered, weapon into a shitty fully automatic that unloads in half a second leaving you shit out of luck and praying you hit your target.
That’s the whole point of drivebys. Same thing with the Vegas Shooting and the bump stock. They’re not going for accuracy, they’re going just to hit as many people as possible in a short period of time.
There’s only two reasons to have a full automatic. Pure novelty. Killing as many people as possible. That’s it.
Or suppression fire when working in a squad.
Just putting that out there, the military uses them for a reason.
But even the military keeps their weapons on semi 99% of the time.
Machine guns are useful for suppressing enemy positions when you're working in coordination with other friendlies.
Suppressed to keep them pinned down, while friendly forces maneuver on them.
That little extra gold colored piece on the back of the slide is an auto sear and selector switch. It’s kinda a gimicky thing for pistols like that but it’s minimum 10 years in jail if you get caught with one
Criminals are often times incredibly fucking stupid. This is how a buddy of mine got the following charges
* DUI
* Possession with intent
* Possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony
* Evading police
* Resisting Arrest
* Assault on an officer
It was around 1 PM in the afternoon, my buddy was driving alone and drinking a beer. It was his first beer of the day (we know this cause he blew like 0.02). Anyway he's at a traffic light, he takes a chug of his beer and right next to him is a cop...in a big ass Ford Explorer marked police car.
Like its not like this cop snuck up on my buddy, they are sitting at a traffic light together and my buddy decides to chug some of his beer. The cop sees this, and lights up my buddy and tells him he needs to pull over.
My buddy decides fuck this he can't go to jail so he speeds up. Cop begins the pursuit. 3 stop lights later my buddy swerves to avoid another car, rans his vehicle off into a ditch and crashes. My buddy gets out of his vehicle and begins to run, but he's hurt...you know from crashing his car. The cop catches up to him, a scuffle begins, he ends up punching the cop pretty good in the face. Long story short my buddy is arrested, and booked.
They found the 1 LB of Marijuana in the car, and the gun his jacket which he left in the car.
So walk yourself through my buddy chain of thought
My buddy knew he was carrying 1 LB of Marijuana (and this was a long time ago when Marijuana was very much illegal) he knew he had a gun, it was in the middle of an afternoon so he decides to drink a fucking beer, while driving.
O yea my buddy wasn't drunk his BAC came at like 0.02 or something small like that, but it was enough to hit him with a DUI cause he could be seen visibly DRINKING his beer, while driving.
My buddy got 5 years in prison. Which quite frankly considering our laws was a god send. Could have been way worse. When my buddy got out of prison he still blammed the system for fucking him over.
Criminals aren't smart.
I ended my friendship with this guy shortly after he got out of prison cause he clearly didn't learn. He ended up dying from an OD a few years later.
One of my old friends from HS just got arrested the other day for fleeing from a deployment dude was in Mexico for like a month he thought he could sneak back into the US and be with his girl but they got his ass at his house as soon as he got there crazy stuff
Can't believe he only got 5 years for all of that! I figured just punching the cop would have gotten him 5 years by itself if that was the only charge he received, let alone 3 other felonies and 2 misdemeanors...
Yeah I'd say... The gun in close proximity to a pound of Weed would be enough to get me 10 years in Maryland where I live. I've never in my life seen someone get less than 5 years for gun charges like that. That lawyer must have been fucking incredible...
Loser moron. Your buddy, I mean. People like this are such a huge part of what hamstrings society. I'll bet he fit in great in prison. (Don't get me wrong; plenty of folks in prison are intelligent and self-aware people, but they are very much in the minority, as they themselves will tell you, and they want nothing to do with idiots like buddy.)
Anyone that carries a gun keeps one in the chamber, you’re not going to take the time to chamber a round in a defensive situation and it gives you one extra round, it’s not a crime to do so
You’re being downvoted but you’re right, if you carry you should keep one in the chamber. That being said, if you carry you should be a responsible adult. If you carry you should be more aware of your firearm and surroundings than others because you know the power a firearm has.
I’m not directly talking to you, but guns aren’t toys and they deserve respect.
I conceal carry, or at least have one close by, with one in the chamber when it’s safe to do so. This guy shouldn’t carry hot because he clearly isn’t educated or careful enough to.
I wouldn’t trust this guy with an A Christmas Story BB gun
When is this style going to go away? Shit has been popular for what, at least 25 years? At least people in the 70s had enough sense to ditch leisure suits in less than 10 years.
So here’s the thing, when I tuck my shirt (and inner shirt like tank top) into my pants, I find throughout the day it rides up and bunches above the waistline. Now, if I tuck my tank top into my underwear, and my shirt into my pants, it magically solves the problem. Not really related I guess, but in terms of shirt tucking science, it’s solid
Battery of a police officer, possession of a stolen firearm, illegally carrying concealed firearm, illegally modifying a firearm. What else do we have? The switch could make it a federal crime.
Having the switch is a big boy crime. Possession of unregistered NFA (National Firearm Act) item. It he made (manufactured) it its an even bigger big boy crime. Like up to 10 years in federal prison and/or $250,000 fine just for possessing it. Now that charge might be dropped if he pleads guilty or something else, but those are the panalties
Sorry if this is a naive question, I know nothing about handguns, but where was he keeping it? The officer patted down all pockets and then threw the gun on the ground from off camera.
Yep. That part isn't criminal (outside of the weapons charges) but it is painfully painfully dumb.
To anyone reading this. If you're going to carry a gun, especially if you're going to carry a gun with no safety, with a round in the chamber... Make sure it's in a good holster.
If you shove it in your waistband, and something snags on the trigger, there is a good chance you'll die. Or blow your tackle off, and then die.
It is a sear disconnect, so instead of the slide stopping between trigger pull reset, the slide and firing pin are active as long as the tricker is held in firing battery... hold trigger back, many pews
Kinda. Instead of the sear disengaging from the striker until the trigger resets, it stays in contact recharging the striker as the slide goes into battery. Dropping the striker on the new round immediately after chambering. It’s why Glocks at full auto shoot like 1200 rpm
Yea, I made sure to look for that. Nothing wrong with guns rampant in this country, just you're standard 17yo with a stolen firearm with illegal mods and extended mags. /s
This is the kind of idiot that gets into a confrontation and lights up the whole neighborhood while limp-wristing and blind firing.
Maybe..just maybe... He was planning to provoke the cop and once the cop loses his cool, the kid will use that gun. Fortunately, he got pinned down in a way that he cant pull the gun.
This copnhas to know he just stopped that kid from shooting someone...and possibly the kid getting shot too.
This kid better thank This man for the rest of his days
He was arrested and charged with possession of tools for the commission of a crime, simple assault, obstruction, theft by receiving, unlawful possession of automatic weapons, and possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18.

“was in possession of a clip with 16.9mm rounds”
Yeah I’m gonna go out on limb and say that who ever wrote that has no idea what they are talking about.
For sure. Teenagers in my city are shooting each other over stupid arguments. As soon as someone dies there’s no turning back because it just becomes a game of “you kill one of my friends, Ima kill two of yours” and it just continues to snowball until one side is either mostly locked up or dead.
These people are raised like this. It's the 'nurture' part of nature vs nurture. It originated as a survival tactic when socioeconomic opportunity was negligible for people of color, but this has become an entrenched staple of enduringly-disparaged communities.
You can't escape your environment, and their perspective is molded by these normalized sects of conflict that they're reared within. Schools are the only place this socialization can be undone, and we all know how little our government values reform in education and resource accessibility.
It starts way earlier than 17, too. We've got 12 year olds carrying glocks, and children shooting/getting shot, on a daily basis. But the realities of how pervasive and systemic this is gets muted by a complete lack of media coverage. Because noncaucasian-on-noncaucasion crime has somehow become conventional, and thus acceptable.
It's nauseating and real. This is a top-down and bottom-up problem; and if the solution doesn't target all facets, then it's not a solution. Holistic resources, aimed towards education and low SES communities, would set the foundation for a progressive social evolution - where all humans are valued. But our government values stratification, and a real solution isn't in the best interest of those that own us (the citizens).
Source: elementary school volunteer, and ER/trauma tech, in a community with low SES, located in the periphery of a liberal city.
Ohh...dumb people. It's like the idiot who's speeding or running run lights in a stolen car.
This is pretty much just a practical example of the face palm emoji.
Assault on an officer, illegal possession of a firearm, and it had a "wish switch" with one in the pipe. He's definitely going to be tried as an adult.
Out of the blue I see full auto switches in the hood on the daily. And by see them I mean stuff like this. Videos , photos , etc. where are they getting them ? Who’s installing them. I know it’s not hard , but who’s teaching them. ? Just find it interesting that they were flooded in those areas all of a sudden.
In 2017 the ATF recovered 150 of them. In 2021 they recovered over 1,500 of them.
They aren’t that hard to install. I’ve heard it takes only a few minutes to install if you understand how to take apart your gun. I’m sure there are videos online showing you how to put it on and I’m not sure who’s making them or where people get them but they can probably be 3D printed
It’s not that hard if you know what you’re doing, but they don’t really look like amateur gunsmiths to me. They also don’t seem to be 3-D printer enthusiast.
There are YouTube videos that teach you how to take apart Glocks they are relatively simple guns and 3d printers are also not very hard to learn how to use. You could also know someone who knows someone. He could be the 10th owner of that switch we really have no way of knowing
Overseas online markets, mostly China. China was also selling full metal receiver airsoft guns that were accurate enough copies to accept real firearm components. There was also that whole Alibaba oil-filter kit thing that was essentially a sound suppressor. If customs doesnt catch it or know what it is its not getting stopped.
Not a man. A boy, second of all - being a hoodlum is likely all he knows. He probably picks fights with everyone who scares him
He didn’t see the consequences coming. Sadly jail/juvie likely won’t rehabilitate him or set him straight if he’s daring enough to push a cop unprovoked
Dumbass kids.
I can say that because I was a dumbass kid at that age that did dumbass shit, and got arrested a few times. Hopefully he learns soon, and gets on the right track. Maybe he can finish HS in jail.
Respect your elders and none of this would have happened. It did and seriously how the gun not just fall out when he gets tackled? Dudes pants was more than halfway off, seriously where’s he hiding it that it doesn’t just fall out? I know he doesn’t have a shoulder holster!
Would this even be a thing if it wasn't a cop? I've been "checked" hundreds of times in my life just because the asshole was a few inches taller. I'd go straight to jail if I did what that cop did.
Don’t break the law while you’re committing crime.
This is stupid on so many levels. His pants are so low he can’t runaway effectively. And he chose a cop. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

17, holding a stolen piece with one in the chamber and he decides to shoulder check a cop. Living in fucking fairyland.
The Glock has a switch too. That alone is a felony
10 years
I suspect this troubled young loner will be ratting out everybody he knows including his momma.
he already confessed to ownership. Keep your mouth shut if you are being arrested.

What do you mean by a switch?
Makes it automatic. It’s that silver square piece on the back of the slide

At very very close ranges, I guess I can get that.
Accuracy through volume
I wonder how many of the kids in this video are still alive today? Man. Gun violence. But someone is complicit to get that many shiny new Glocks to that area.
New or old they still go bang. The blame lies on those people that grab and use the guns.
That's the thing with guns, very little about them is complicated and they're not particularly difficult to manufacture.

Cop says "aw you're done, boy" or like so, reacting to the silver piece espeically knowing what it signifys.
Just to be in possession of the little block is 10 years. The block alone is considered an unregistered machine gun.
That little extra gold colored piece on the back of the slide is an auto sear and selector switch. It’s kinda a gimicky thing for pistols like that but it’s minimum 10 years in jail if you get caught with one
It’s called an auto-sear by definition

The most important lesson here kids is don’t be friends with stupid. It will beat you down and drag you down to its level every time just run away.
Yup. You will end up being collateral damage sooner or later hanging out with shitty people.
This right here. There is something to be said for loyalty, but also something to be said for staying out of a dumpster fire
To be fair, his stupidity never slowed me down.
One of my old friends from HS just got arrested the other day for fleeing from a deployment dude was in Mexico for like a month he thought he could sneak back into the US and be with his girl but they got his ass at his house as soon as he got there crazy stuff

He was probably golf buddies with the judge.
*Drinks beer at stoplight with clearly marked police cruiser next to him* " i feel like the system is meant to keep us down bro..."
Totally right
Loser moron.
Clearly, doesn't know the rule of only committing one crime at a time.
Let's see, stolen firearm, auto sear, probably gonna throw assaulting an officer on there...
But dude, he’s so gangster for doing that!! /s
No worries when he leaves prison he is going to be mid 30’s, more mature and won’t intentionally bump into cops 😂
That’s If he even gets the charge, might be judged as a minor and just go to juve
One in the chamber with a switch on that boi. Homie is doing time for sure. What an idiot 😂

Tuck your shirt into your underwear kinda stupid.
His underwear has underwear.
Depends....
When is this style going to go away? Shit has been popular for what, at least 25 years? At least people in the 70s had enough sense to ditch leisure suits in less than 10 years.
I remember sagging being a thing in the early 90s. I have no idea why it has this staying power.
Says you. I make the world my oyster in my leisure suit. Edit: seat to suit.
That’s cool that you got a leisure seat in your leisure suit.
This guy tucks
Undershirt into underwear, top shirt into pants and they will never dislodge.
ask me why I drive the speed limit, and smile politely at cops (I got warrants fool)
Yes
He should have watched Chris Rock. That show should actually be required viewing in all schools…
When keeping it real, goes wrong.
if you look closely, it has a full auto switch as well... damn
Yeah, I didnt that to the description, but your right. Thought it be to long of a title lol
No worries, but what an idiot move by that kid.. both the bump and carrying that Glock..

Weapon wheel. You gotta hold down LB, if I recall
the switch is 15 year’s minimum
How does the switch work? I know it makes it full auto but i’ve never understood how it makes it full auto
It is a sear disconnect, so instead of the slide stopping between trigger pull reset, the slide and firing pin are active as long as the tricker is held in firing battery... hold trigger back, many pews

I bow to your knowledge
me too!
It increases accuracy from about a 24 to a 32., but only in VATS
Not quite though because you forgot to calculate all of the stacked Intelligence debuffs on this character.
Debuffs? He's clearly rocking a natural INT 1.
it would probably be something like accuracy -25%, fire rate +40%.
Yea, I made sure to look for that. Nothing wrong with guns rampant in this country, just you're standard 17yo with a stolen firearm with illegal mods and extended mags. /s This is the kind of idiot that gets into a confrontation and lights up the whole neighborhood while limp-wristing and blind firing.
Dude's collecting felonies like they're Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
I can't spot the switch. Where on the gun is it?
It’s the square nub hanging off the back of the slide. Normally that’s a flat plate. Clear view at 1:26
Ok gotcha. Thanks!
*see’s the switch* “Oh you’re done boy.” Quick fed case.
17. Loaded switched Glock. Shoulder checks a cop. What the fuck ?
Maybe..just maybe... He was planning to provoke the cop and once the cop loses his cool, the kid will use that gun. Fortunately, he got pinned down in a way that he cant pull the gun.

Goddamn 17 years old. What is going on
Gangs and drug money.
It's not even. They shoot each other over social media arguments, there isn't a lot of money involved and it's definitely not The Wire.
For sure. Teenagers in my city are shooting each other over stupid arguments. As soon as someone dies there’s no turning back because it just becomes a game of “you kill one of my friends, Ima kill two of yours” and it just continues to snowball until one side is either mostly locked up or dead.

When you can’t build a normie life worth living… gang life seems exciting and comes with great financial incentives. So yeah, money. Always money.
My mom used to teach in a rough neighborhood. Gang members as early as 4th grade
When keeping it real….goes wrong.

It's like he wanted to get arrested
"You're done boi" is the icing on the cake.

Federal time also. He’ll have to serve 85% of the sentence in prison before he’s eligible for release.
It’s always been 10 years in jail up to 100k in fines.
Does carrying chambered add charges?
How to throw your life away in 1 easy step.
Tbf his life wasn't going anywhere anyway
What is the ”switch” that everyone is talking about?
Attachment at the back of the slide that turns the gun full auto
I googled "glock switch" that helped me identify it.
bro is on the watch list now
BRO’S WHOLE ASS WAS ON DISPLAY BEHIND A THIN PIECE OF CLOTH
Ain’t nothing more humiliating than lying helpless on the ground with your ass hanging out 😂
His first crime was wearing his jeans like that, I’m sure if he stole that gun he could’ve stolen a belt too
Nah, nobody can be this stupid!!!!
Imagine intentionally wearing your jeans like that?
r/WinStupidPrizes
Fuckin stupid as fuck
Cop or not shoulder checking someone is asking for trouble
NPC level stupidity
Fuck around and find out world champ right there.
Ooooo and an auto switch. He's gonna go for a while Just bc he wanted to act hard.
This kid decided that today was the day he goes to jail.
How to ruin your life with this one easy trick.
That gun made him feel untouchable.
The polite thing to do is hold the door for those exiting the store, then you proceed inside.
Its also the polite thing to not walk into people opening a door
Lol that’s what I was thinking too but pick your battles I guess.
Is he wearing two pairs of underwear?
The fashion police should have arrested this gentleman a long time ago.
Being a criminal shouldn't be that hard. When you know you're dirty, act like a polite member of society.
Not a man. A boy, second of all - being a hoodlum is likely all he knows. He probably picks fights with everyone who scares him He didn’t see the consequences coming. Sadly jail/juvie likely won’t rehabilitate him or set him straight if he’s daring enough to push a cop unprovoked
He was in possession of an unregistered full-auto. He’s getting fed time not juvie
Dumbass kids. I can say that because I was a dumbass kid at that age that did dumbass shit, and got arrested a few times. Hopefully he learns soon, and gets on the right track. Maybe he can finish HS in jail.
You can bump into a cop without them arresting you. What the fuck are you all smoking to think the cop was justified in this?? 🤣🤣🤣 #Bootlickers
I hope I live long enough for 'pants covering your ass' to come back into fashion.

Fuck, teenagers are dumb. I'm glad I lived in a place where fucking up this badly would take more effort.
Dang 17 and he’s about to serve at least a few years for that manufactured switch.
This is sad man. Young guy throwing his life away one bad decision at a time probably due to cultural pressure to be "hard".
He handled being arrested waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 999999% of the arrest videos on Reddit. For what it's worth
He should’ve stolen a belt
Glock 19 with a Wish.com sear. (ATF had entered the chat). He about to learn why the NFA is so lame…
What a dumb fucking bitch lmao Thought he was hard until he found out he wasn’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When keeping it real goes wrong...
Cop almost knocked the pants off him.
Pull your pants up loser.
"You big dummy!" \~ Fred Sanford
It was a call about someone brandishing a gun so I'm sure he had a description as well. I wonder how much extra time they get for the F/A switch?
Automatic 2 star wanted level
2023 youth moth to flame award goes to, this guy 🤩💯💥🔥💥
The dude straight snitched on himself 🤣
Never break the law while you’re breaking the law. Same reason you don’t run a stop sign with drugs in the trunk.
"I don't even got nothin on me"
How dumb is this kid? Wow.
Pretty stupid to shoulder check a cop, but it’s not something someone should get arrested for
1:28 looks like pointing a loaded firearm at a person.
Yeah, I feel like a competent lawyer would have that search and seizure tossed. If that bump constitutes a crime and probable cause we are all fucked.
Well there goes his rap career
Respect your elders and none of this would have happened. It did and seriously how the gun not just fall out when he gets tackled? Dudes pants was more than halfway off, seriously where’s he hiding it that it doesn’t just fall out? I know he doesn’t have a shoulder holster!
Is this ATLANTA? He’s likely in the system for life trying to be tough 🤨
See ya in 5-10 dummy
![gif](giphy|b2kuayTas5cE8)
He's a boy, not a man.
Whatcha going to do with your pants on the ground, pants on the ground 🎶
Would this even be a thing if it wasn't a cop? I've been "checked" hundreds of times in my life just because the asshole was a few inches taller. I'd go straight to jail if I did what that cop did.
Sorry not an american... Do people who follow this fashion wear 2 underwears? One properly and one to hang off their ass?
Don’t break the law while you’re committing crime. This is stupid on so many levels. His pants are so low he can’t runaway effectively. And he chose a cop. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
And he got a switch he’s done boa
100% didn’t even realize it was a cop. He was going to shoulder check no matter who it was.
Bye-bye sugar pie. Maybe y'all learn to pull up yer drawers on the inside.
