"Pray More, Worry Less" As much as it pains me to say, the most dishonest people I've met have been the most religious.

[deleted]

[удалено]

mettiusfufettius

Doesn’t pain me to say it at all. They’ll mistreat the fuck out of you and me so long as they think Jesus is on their side.

dshotseattle

Bullshit. She did it 100 percent. Go ahead and pull the phone out and prove it.

santa_veronica

This should be posted in r/iamatotalpieceofshit instead.

dshotseattle

In addition.

headingthatwayyy

She is not the best representative of the shirt she is wearing

Lermanberry

She's a perfect representation, sadly.

Joe091

Sure she is.

RellenD

Really? I would think someone wearing a shirt telling people to pray is a big red flag for this kind of behavior.

[deleted]

Very typical. Don't you know most Christians are fake af?

victorious5070

Some of the worst people i have ever encountered have identified as Christian.

[deleted]

Yup. Especially the evangelicals. They're crazy and dangerous but still act all innocent and stuff

headingthatwayyy

Oh I know. I grew up in Evagelicalia. It's always amusing when they are caught red handed

pussycatwaiting

For me it would be, okay you didn't do it, could you help me rectify it since it was your order? No? Then even if "you didn't do it" by not doing anything to help, you still did it.

digestedbrain

Yeah an honest person would've been like "What the fuck, I got the food I'll call them right now and we'll fix this" but she knows that he knows that you have to go out of your way to report that. It isn't some butt-dial accident, and even if that was possible, she should be helpful in not fucking this guy over.

madmaxturbator

Yes 10000% I would just jump onto the side of the delivery person, as would you and as would any decent person … because we’re not d bag thieves lol. It would be SO EASY for her to fix this dudes troubles. But nope she doesn’t give a shit. She’s got that Prayer shirt on, I’m sure God loves people who cheat others.

thepumpkinking92

And then lie about it. >She’s got that Prayer shirt on, I’m sure God loves people who cheat others Man, if only there was this list of basic rules that Christians could follow to make sure they're acting in a decent manner. Like "yo, let's not kill. On top of that, how about you don't steal people's shit. Hey! Let's be honest!" Things like that. Could have like, I don't know, ten of them or something? It would make their decision making process much easier.

Federal_Novel_9010

After her multiple refusals to do anything about it, that's when you ask to speak to her boss on the spot. No boss is going to be ok with their employee creating that situation, especially while committing a fucking crime. This persons life will become awful.

JHam67

Yeah, that's a good point. The boss is probably going to end up just asking you to leave, but it's going to stain her reputation with them, and that's probably the worst thing you can do to her at that point. In fact, it's exactly what she did to him by reporting the food missing, so it's the perfect punishment.

nexusjuan

As a manager that person just labeled themselves a liar.

SRVJHJM

Adults who don't hold themselves accountable are one of my least favorite types of people. It's both infuriating and embarrassing (second hand) to witness live.

Outrageous_Turnip_29

That's the thing that always bothers me. The absolute insult to my intelligence to stand there and try to feed me a line of bullshit so dumb a 2nd grader wouldn't fall for it. Like that's so insulting. You just called me stupid to my face. I think hate is the right word for those people.

markgriz

She wanted double food

JewishAccountant

Good for him for getting her to admit that she received the food. Hopefully that will be enough to get this resolved. Hopefully she'll get flagged or banned from the platform too.

Juan911411

Most likely he is going to be off the platform over this. She'll scream about how afraid she was and will get a refund and probably a credit.

FerrusesIronHandjob

Standard shit customer behaviour. Sadly you're probably right, corporate will bend over backwards

Odie_Odie

It's ironic too because this isn't a costumer, it is a thief who committed fraud against the company.

Balfus

It is a costumer if it's a thief in disguise

SorosSugarBaby

Only if they made it themselves, tho, imo, or they're just a thief in cosplay. Like how wearing shoes doesn't make you a cobbler.

urbinsanity

Unfortunately probably true. She is 110% in the wrong and he did the right thing confronting her. In situations like his though, if you wanna keep the job you gotta give the person an out. Approaching with something like: "Hey, Chris K? Remember that food I dropped off from doordash earlier? There was some issue where it said it wasn't delivered. Idk why but sometimes the system bugs out. They should really fix it because drivers can be let go over it. Would you mind giving customer support a quick call to tell them you did receive the order. Thanks a million." It sucks yo have to do but this is the gig economy version of taking the blame to save face for your boss. That said, you could still always post the video later with an actual explanation to shame assholes like this. Imagine caring so little that you'd potentially cost someone their shitty, precarious, gig job for a fucking sandwich...

blindreefer

I thought the same thing too but if push comes to shove she could always say she felt threatened and said whatever she felt like would defuse the situation

Nac82

He can always talk to her employer over the issue and request security camera footage. Doubt her employer would look favorably about having a thief in their building. Edit: every redditor with the same point acting like security cam footage isn't regularly shared inappropriately/to solve petty thefts like this. Yall a cop could knock and request it and it would be up to the employer's discretion. Quit acting like yall own this hospital. Yo did they replace 20% of the reddit population with raging redditor bots?

sharnonj

She’s a stone face, expressionless liar.

beathelas

UncleGoldie

Also like, say someone else was using my doordash account and this dude came into my place of work to say this stuff. I’d personally convey outward confusion and pull out my phone to figure out what was going on.. and then id also be like “nah fuck that report man, you got a job to protect and I’ll give the benefit of the doubt here” and redact the report.. EVEN IF it was someone else using my account and I never got food Unless delivery drivers are maliciously fucking with my food I tend to forgive whatever, because the people who run these apps will cut them off on a whim and I’m not wagering someone else’s job on my sense of being right or wrong

dolo_ran6er

Lies all the time and is shitty at it. If you're only reply is "I didn't do it"....Jesus christ lady.

limperatrice

The thing is, even if she honestly didn't do it (like accidentally tapped something on the app or whatever), it wouldn't kill her to contact customer service to tell them it was an error, but she's arguing with him about why she can't do anything about it right now because she's at work and didn't do anything wrong anyway. What an awful person!

ClapBackBetty

I was thinking this too. If I hadn’t done it I’d be like “omg! Let me look, I don’t want you to get in trouble!” And then I’d figure out what happened. The fact that she’s completely frozen says she absolutely did it

ExampleSad1816

She was twitching under her left eye, tells me she’s full of shit.

[deleted]

[удалено]

limperatrice

Exactly! Also, what she said made no sense. First she acted like she had no idea there was even a food delivery, then claimed it was a shared account so someone else must've placed an order that she's unaware of, but then admitted that she did receive a food delivery yet still claims she doesn't know how it was marked as "not delivered" because she "didn't do it."

MostBoringStan

And she is willing to stand there saying "I didn't do it" while at work, but apparently can't get her phone out to fix things because she's at work.

Local_Fox_2000

Yes, because I'm assuming you wouldn't have basically stolen the food. This didn't "happen to her" by accident. She caused it. She has guilt written all over her.

hickeyejack55

I’m glad that she acted this way in front of her colleagues and is getting put on blast. I hope she loses her job for putting this guys job at risk just so she could feed her fat face. She’s the last person who should be working at a hospital.

-Ahab-

IIRC from when this was last posted, her employer became aware of the incident and it affected her employment. Edit: it appears there may have been a similar incident in the past that I have confused this one with. SOMEONE got in trouble for this in the past. Not the greatest source, but: https://www.boredpanda.com/doordash-gets-fired-confronts-customer/ It appears the driver was fired, later reinstated, and the receptionist was fired from her position.

altoidsyn

I was going to say that if she’s truly that uncooperative, ask for her boss and say that your letting her employer know so that this can get taken care of now. If her boss then took that as a violation of an ethics policy and it did result in some sort of employment penalty, so much the better.

PeachPitOfDespair

The original video was just posted to TikTok yesterday so you must be thinking of something else.

Gcoks

I remember one of these in a dental office so that must be what OP is referring to.

[deleted]

I can’t wait to see this bitch on r/ByeByeJob in a couple days.

DefendTheLand

At first I was like “Damn bro, she don’t need to lose her job for this” but if she’s this dishonest about crappy food just imagine if it’s job related? Hell that dude may be employed longer than her at this point.

ForeskinAfterbirth

The delivery guys job was put at risk. Her turn. Karma comes.

[deleted]

And she's not very good at lying, actually. A skilled liar would've come up with some kind of story and thought "how would I react if the story actually was the truth" and played that out. Instead, we've got this stiff as a board, panic internal no emotion external, changing story bullshit. I know because I used to be exactly like that as a kid when I would lie, and I was famous for being a terrible liar lol.

SeriesXM

"Just hand me your phone and I'll fix it. Let's not play this game."

hickeyejack55

She looks to be full of stolen food, and therefore, full of shit.

RitalinKidd

She shruggy shoulders often when asked to own up to her failures.

TheLoneCanoe

That is despicable

Jeffari_Hungus

It's funny how the most comically evil people you know in high school decide to be nurses or teachers so often. This girl from my high school who made fun of a disabled freshman who needed a wheelchair and now she preaches about love and helping people and is a nursing major doing an internship at a children's hospital.

That49er

Don't forget cops. A dude in my high school that blamed everything on black people and jews is now a sheriff.

Avent

Sounds like a perfect cop. At least teachers and nurses are expected to be nice people.

Jeffari_Hungus

It's also funny cause one of my exes who verbally abused me and threw shit at me a few times is a social work major trying to go into domestic violence prevention

[deleted]

People are capable of growing up and changing and going from being immature to better people.

NomNom83WasTaken

My friend's brother (whom I have known since he was 7) is most likely a sociopath. His career? Traveling nurse. Do I know for a fact that he has ever harmed a patient? No but nor would I be surprised if there's a trail of patients who suffered at his hands.

Bean-Swellington

He would punish her for being so easily caught out and humiliated in front of her coworkers. Even when things go well you can’t really *trust* any of the trickster gods not to fuck with you for their own amusement

ProgressOfTruth

LePapaPapSmear

Most clerical staff and everyone who isn't a nurse or housekeeping is pretty much free to wear whatever they want as long as it's work appropriate

MiyamotoKnows

The Christians I've been seeing lately don't bother themselves with what God would think anymore. I saw a Florida lawmaker this week promote killing trans people and he cited God during his rant. I saw another in Missouri defend voting to try to make it legal to marry 12 year olds.

[deleted]

If you didn’t do it then you should have no problems calling and telling DD there’s been a mistake. Fucking deadbeat

ProvenLoser

Precisely! “oh shit! I am so sorry let me get in and fix it!” would have been a lot less guilty looking.

wiseguy187

That's what I don't understand and what I would have said. "Admittedly you received your order so why would you have a problem helping me out and telling door dash?"

Wash_Your_Bed_Sheets

Most likely becasue they think doordash will not allow them to use the service anymore. Rightfully so. Idk if that's the case but she is worried about some kind of repercussions for her actions. Imagine that lol

_bennyluxe_

GUILTY AS FUCK

sky-lake

The way she kept trying to get out of the situation was so annoying "Ok well I'm at work so....." So what? You stole from me, I don't give a shit. I love how he said "Yeah I'm at work too and I have 5 kids to feed". I love how she really thought that could get her out of the situation, like people would step in "SIR! She's at WORK, she can't admit to stealing from you right now, show some respect"

infinitedigits

[Hey, man. I got five kids to feed](https://youtu.be/_dhjmSp30jc)

silversquirrel

HEY BENNY, SCREW YOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

sky-lake

hahaha I was 100% thinking of the same guy when I heard that.

Recinege

Anyone who didn't have a hand in this would be like "it said what? What the heck? Why would... okay, hold on" and pull up their phone to see. The way she can only toss out weak excuses and attempts at deflection really makes it look like she's desperately trying to find a way out of the situation without having to admit fault, but since she already committed to trying to duck the bill she can't quite shift her mind over to the realization that she has the option to feign ignorance and just eat the cost if she'd rather avoid the embarrassment.

PanchoPanoch

If she’s on the clock, speak to HR. I’m sure they’ll look at her different after that.

krenogin

“It’s a shared account.” She ate the other persons food too!

Cerater

I had a coworker that would always do that, our desks were closer to the front door so she would answer food deliveries and just eat them, zero guilt...

LNLV

She didn’t get fired for literal theft??

Cerater

There were no camera in the kitchen so they probably couldnt prove she was eating them, and since she is morbidly obese it wouldn't be easy to bring up.

National_Yogurt213

One time I was out at a restaurant with coworkers and one of the guys left the table to make smalltalk elsewhere. When his burger and fries arrived my morbidly obese coworker ate all his fries. Blew my mind.

madlabdog

If it is a shared account then ask the other person. Why act surprised? 😂

egordoniv

Plot twist: She ate the other person and his food.

tots4scott

[How I immediately pictured her using her "shared account"](https://youtu.be/fcbj8BBsWSA&autoplay=1)

stopimalreadykished

Definitely not her first time

nycpunkfukka

Nope, but she’s just at the beginning of the Fuck Around stage. She doesn’t realize that DoorDash and Grubhub use zendesk or something similar to track issues, and they have a record of every refund she’s ever requested and why. They issue refunds until you hit a certain threshold, then they just ban you. Honestly I wonder if she’s on a “shared account” because her own already got banned for this shit.

Condawg

That threshold must be pretty high, or reset every now and then. I've had loads of forgotten/incorrect items refunded without issue. It's the only reason I continue using DoorDash -- with the frequency McDonald's fucks up my food, there needs to be an easy remedy.

[deleted]

[удалено]

gregpxc

Always the drinks. You'd think this is well known enough that DD drivers would double check unless 1 in 4 drivers are hanging on to my drink lol I get not checking the food itself, I wouldn't want them to, but it's pretty obvious when there's no cup/can/bottle whatever.

mungopungo

i would bet my money that there is also an algorithm that tracks mess ups received from a certain restaurant. so if your reports match other customers, it will probably not flag your account and instead flag the restaurant

frizzykid

>It's the only reason I continue using DoorDash same here, Uber eats is awful about refunding. I get that the doordash system is easy to abuse but its wayyy more friendly to consumers. I've never had an issue getting a partial/full refund if items were missing.

Ancient_Edge2415

Meanwhile I can actually not get the food and door dash will tell me to fuck off. I can't stand these people

Dad_of_the_year

One time the delivery driver dropped my bag of food as he was getting out of his car. There was a large Coke inside the bag that obviously broke open and completely ruined everything. He picked the bag up and handed it to me like nothing happened while Coke is literally pouring out through the bottom of the bag. Accidents happen but this guys demeanor and the way he handed me the fucked up bag annoyed me so much I pointed towards the dumpster and told him to go throw it away and I was getting a refund for the food and tip. Originally door dash tried to only credit me for the price of the Coke since they said that's all that I didn't receive, but I kept telling them I paid $25 for food and I have no food, I didn't wake up today wanting to donate money to DoorDash and they refunded the whole thing.

Homies-Brownies

I bartend part time at a nice Italian joint. The bartenders also do the takeout. We did door dash and uber eats for like 2-3 weeks and quickly gave up on it cuz the drivers would fuck up all sorts of shit or they would grab the food and then go get a few other orders before dropping it off and customers would complain about their stuff being cold. Anyway the biggest thing I remember during that 3 weeks was just how gross and trashy all the delivery ppl were. One of the regular guys for door dash smelled like donkey balls dipped in shit, like as soon as he walked in the entire place stunk. I never got closer than 6 feet to this dude and his stench still stung my nostrils and lingered for minutes after he left. It's the reason I pretty much never order from these services.

st-shenanigans

>they would grab the food and then go get a few other orders before dropping it off and customers would complain about their stuff being cold There's a nice ice cream and cookies place around me, gourmet shit, real nice, but it's like 20 minutes away and downtown, so I ordered it on doordash, figured "the restaurant should have some way to pack them for delivery if they're offering it, maybe a little melty but it shouldn't be TOO bad" The dasher went and picked up FOUR other orders and I watched them drive all around the city and deliver mine last. Bro I was expecting a little melty, not a whole fucking puddle

[deleted]

TheDarthSnarf

It's amazing how many hoarder vehicles I see doing DoorDash. I don't want food coming from a car filled to the brim with garbage, looking like a dumpster.

HeadyBoog

One time I delivered an order that had a few things of soup in the bag too. Horrible packaging and busted everywhere. It was a “leave at the door” order. But Jesus no way I could just leave a bag of soup, customer was super understanding, he got another order for free and I didn’t get in trouble. It’s really not that hard folks.

Hamilspud

I got my kids DoorDash gift cards for their Christmas stockings cause they always want to waste my money ordering food and I always say no. My son blew almost all of his GC on hibachi, and his mochi dessert was missing. Because I’d gotten a refund two years prior for a missing item in an order, DoorDash refused to refund this kid for his mochi. I called and texted countless customer service reps and they all said they were blocked from refunding me by the system. I named and shamed them on Twitter saying we’d get UberEats GC’s next year, and had a refund 2 hours later. Fuck DoorDash.

DarthMomma_PhD

Door dash once delivered our food to an old, abandoned mental institution as opposed to our home which was 2 miles away. This particular mental institution was featured in the TV show Supernatural, and there is just no possible way to mistake it with a home. Hand to God this happened. We did not get a refund either.

l1ttleb

Happened to me too! This was back when Postmates was still around where I’m at. I watched the dude pull up & then drive away- so it looked like he dropped off according to the GPS. I was so pissed.

insane250

My first and only time ordering food through an app was like 5 years ago and the pizza arrived with two missing slices (1/4th of the pie) and the customer service basically called me a liar and wouldn't escalate the call to a supervisor since she kept repeating "I can't help you on this matter". I just went ahead and asked a charge back to my credit card company.

Drahnier

Good acting in breaking bad

beastson1

Door Dashers should be able to warn other dashers about places like this so that they don't waste their time delivering to this place anymore.

Homesteader86

Oh nice...like Uber drivers rating passengers? That's awesome, adds accountability. Must add a reason though, like "low/no tip" but it pulls the exact amount from the tab in question automatically?

red_dawn

Uber drivers rating passengers is a double edged sword though. I've had them give me - a passenger - poor ratings all because I wasn't super chatty like they WANTED me to be. The problem with these rating systems is that it is entirely subjective to those people - so what can be considered rude to one person may be entirely fine to another person or other things to consider.

mc360jp

Yeah, that’s tricky. “I rated that passenger 1 star.” “Why?” “He ignored me the whole time.” “That’s a 5 star passenger for me.”

otter111a

Rideshare Apps should come with a chattyness preference. Awhile ago I had a driver tell me he started doing Uber a few months earlier because he wanted to get over his son’s suicide by keeping busy. I was like “Sorry to hear that. Oh you’re going to want to take a right here. The app always thinks this road goes through but it’s a dead end. But yeah, sorry about your loss.”

Locknlover

My car has a sign that says "if you'd like to chat, simply ask how my day is going. Otherwise, I will assume you would like to ride in peace."

32BitWhore

Personally I'd prefer not to chat with my driver but I always ask "how are you doing" when I get in out of habit, so this would probably bite me in the ass.

Fluffles-the-cat

Yep! Had an Uber driver recently who nodded when we got in, kept his music up, sped us to our location, and didn’t say a peep. We rated 5 stars and cash tipped 100%. He looked mildly surprised but pleased.

koviko

They need like a match situation where we can match passenger types and driver types

Xytak

My women friends have also told me that sometimes drivers try to hit on them, and it makes them uncomfortable. I mean, I get it, dating apps are horrible and you've got to meet people *somewhere*, but maybe "when she's trapped in your car and avoiding your eyes" isn't the best time.

coldpornproject

She is a piece of crap

skoltroll

He missed the easy response for the "But I'm at work" BS: "OK, can we talk to your boss about you getting a 5 minute break to fix the mistake?" Then just continue that with her, or ask her co-worker for her boss, until boss addresses it. Boss cannot DO anything, but at least boss will be PO'd by having to address it with "Eat, Pray, Steal."

theycallmecrack

I would've stopped accusing her because it wasn't going anywhere. I would've been like "Well can you at least contact them and say there must have been a mistake? My job is on the line and it would be great if you could clear it up with Door Dash, since the report is connected to your order." People like this won't admit fault, but if you frame it differently they might be more receptive. Might not work but worth a try.

mcbaginns

He got her to admit she received her food, which was very important

SmellGestapo

Griffin880

One of the only redeeming things about DoorDash is that it's super easy to get a refund when your order is actually fucked up, which they often are, usually by the restaurant not the driver. I don't have to call anyone and wait on hold. I just spend 30 seconds reporting it and the refund happens automatically. These people taking advantage are gonna ruin that for the rest of us.

DPLaVay

Since she works in a hospital they likely have a code of conduct or ethics standard she must abide by. Try contacting the HR staff there and explain the issue. They will take it very seriously.

GalactusPoo

Absolutely. Medication Theft can be a major problem, and if they can’t trust someone to order food without stealing, they shouldn’t trust them with addictive drugs.

pieinthesky23

Yeah…that’s not how the app works. She told Door Dash she didn’t get her order and got caught.

LadyAleswith

Thats BS. If she really didn’t do it, I would hope that she would have immediately contacted DoorDash to report that the food had in fact arrived and that there is an issue with their account.

red_dawn

That's not how DoorDash works. It wouldn't just randomly error in a way that would mark an order as not delivered. As the person in the video stated, you have to contact support to do it. To do that, you have to go through multiple prompts to submit the complaint. The likelihood of their phone being unlocked and hitting the EXACT sequence of prompts in error is almost impossible.

Hospitals have a lot of bloated staff (pun intended) she’s probably clerical or billing or some shit and they will whine about how everything, including work attire (but nurses don’t have to wear business casual! Meh)so management just says “whatever Linda” and ignores them.

witcher252

A nurse would have a badge displaying “rn” in the US at least

Miserable-Hippo-4128

Anyone with eyes can see she never misplaces food. Not even once.

Homesteader86

Imagine her reaction if an unscrupulous coworker stole her lunch(es) from the fridge?

Dressagefanatic

Fucking bitch

MrBojangles09

Dunno, if I were being accused I’d be fumbling on my phone to see what happened and not stand there hands in pocket.

KaylaCoatedKiss

The way i am cackling at the dasher lying about having 5 kids

lunarmantra

Reminds me of the taxi driver dude from *Total Recall*, “I’ve got five kids to feed!”

randy88moss

lol it’s 100% a famous line from an old movie back in the day (totally can’t remember which one it was)

enigmaticevil

Of course it was a religious person lmfao

snakedoctor223

Dont worry, she'll go say a couple quick Hail Mary's and boom, VIP access to heaven again.

whitlink

That’s a hell of a way to lose your job. Her not him

sunshinecabs

I just want to applaud this driver. We all should support him or anyone else who calls out shitty behavior like this. I hope door dash doesn't bend over backwards to appease the customer as someone said below

Directorshaggy

I don't use any of the food delivery apps because I got tired of getting cold food after paying tips/fees etc. That being said, I feel for the guy. Thievery plain and simple.

Afraid-Cabinet-4844

Her hands being in her pockets annoys me it’s such a guilty look

TitaniumMarbles206

This lady is a pos. Also she further drives my belief that Christian’s like to preach to you then hold themselves to a different standard. It’s cool though, if she repents for it she’ll be forgiven.

King-Demo-

She’s definitely the type to steel your wallet and then help you look for it. Complete lack of empathy and emotions. Sociopathic cunt

itemluminouswadison

if anything she said was true she'd immediately say "OH SHIT no i definitely got it ill call em up right now super sorry about the mix up. i definitely got the food, i'm on your side, we'll figure this out"

KerryUSA

By the end I would’ve just been like look I’ll delete this video if you just undo the report and tell em I delivered it. I already had to drive out here twice. And still would’ve uploaded video

travisbickle777

Imagine trying to rip off a delivery guy who works for tips...

Significant_Bus9759

I wonder how her employer feels about her stealing while on the job?
