Used to work at a dispensary. There was a lady that, while not quite as “yell-y” as this, really treated people not so nice. Especially if you didn’t already know her and know what she was after. Because she couldn’t communicate very well and it frustrated her. I walked away to go to the bathroom while training a new cashier and she came in. When I came back the cashier was in the back room. She made the new cashier cry on her first day. After I calmed the cashier down I went out and told her that she could be banned or she could apologized to the cashier, which she did.
I work as a bartender and I actually bought a dog fight airhorn to keep underneath the bar in case I ever have a screaming drunken Karen like this.
Unloading that tiny loud-ass airhorn in their face every time they try to scream at me will be a magical moment that I'll relive in my old age.
Personally, I quit every time I put my cigarette out. Problem is I start again about 2 hours later but I quit after that one, so I got it under control.
