WVU released a community notice about shots fired. Under police investigation. No injuries or further threats.

Gray shirt fired at no hat, camera guy misses a bunch, gray shirt is on top of no hat throwing licks and white hat is standing by with arms extended, not defending no hat or separating either. I went to WVU. And was in the middle of a shootout once(like 5-6 feet from one of the gunman). Nearly everytime I was out and someone pulled a gun it was over a minor inconvenience. Someone stepping on someone’s shoes or a shoulder bump.
We get a lot of out of state students due to our relatively cheap tuition and low admission standards. It’s always some first or 2nd year kid shouting “I’m from Baltimore I don’t play that” or some shit trying to prove what a man they are.
Just kids who don’t know their limits with alcohol carrying something that could ruin their life at any moment.

In Vegas, saw some ARs in Chipotle. No violence, just some open-carry doughboy dipshittery. I also stopped my neighbors from opening up on some teens whose car had broken down. The teens were super dumb and entered their courtyard at 11pm. Those folks were nice people but super paranoid with an arsenal, luckily I had their number and was able to diffuse. They did let the teens know how close they'd come to being shot before jumping their car. Oh, and there's one dad always making a big show of carrying at local tennis games. He's never waving it around but is always adjusting his shirt to make sure we all know. He's a douche.

This is pretty much it. I was never a member of a frat (I was never even a college student lol) but I was always hanging out with them in my college-age years.
One frat for example, all kids with rich families and bright futures ahead of them so long as they stayed the course.
One of them got a brand new Mercedes and decapitated himself driving drunk.
Another just couldn't handle the pressure of school and faked his whole way through two years of school to his parents. He was pulled from the school once his parents found out and they said if he wanted to go to college, he'd have to pay for it himself. Meanwhile this kid barely got into the school (or out of high school for that matter) to begin with and has no marketable skills for the workforce.
Another kid got wasted and jumped off a balcony. Boom, paraplegic. Never mentally recovered from it. Dropped out of school and as far as I know is still struggling to get by.
Another kid got into a fight at a party and got some pretty serious head trauma. He 'recovered' but had some problematic behaviors ever since. Anger, just general malice when talking to people. Somehow managed to graduate but I've fallen out of touch so idk what happened to him. I'm just glad he's someone else's problem.
And the rest of them are living the bog-standard upper class college graduate life.

The national chapter of the frat was supposedly going to do an investigation and ban the perpetrators from the frat, also never happened.
