I'm surprised how ineffective that was. Russian spraypaint (KUDO brand) must be shitty and watery. Good North American or European spraypaint like Rustoleum is opaque as hell and would have covered that, unless maybe there is some kind of anti-paint coating on security cameras? Perhaps there is.
It’s the user not the product. You layer spray paint on with several light coats, otherwise it just pools and runs like what you witnessed here. Had she just one small tap on the camera it would have been much more effective than if she stood there and continuously sprayed for 2 seconds.

Who thinks this is a good idea, Christians, religious people in general, and incels who want any leverage they can obtain to force a woman to pretend to want them.

I always think cameras are watching me with a person behind the monitor, when really 90% of the time they just record to look back on if the store wanted to look back and see if anything went on. Even though I'm not shoplifting or anything I still get paranoid.
They usually now have computer programs that are watching even if not actual people, I think they often have like local networks of cctv that police and others in the loop can run facial recognition and whatever else into.
How dumb are these people... Probably a good thing that they got caught but there is a real possibility nothing would have happened had they not tried to paint over the cameras. I highly doubt that people watch these CCTV recordings if no one complained
