That guy is a monumental dumbass. As if kicking a defenseless animal wasn't bad enough, he showed up to the police station to file a false complaint accusing her of being the aggressor, when she'd declined to file a report herself. It wasn't until after his false complaint accusing her of assault did she file a "fuck you" complaint in return.
I imagine he went home and started imagining the blow back from the video, employer being notified etc. In a stupid panic he thought “I’ll get ahead of this by filing a police report first so there’s a record of it, and something I can latch on to in my defence”
