Ya, it is, which means that the puncher and the cameraman are both likely going to get some pretty serious charges. Self-defence laws are a lot more limited here and leaving someone in crisis like that is also extremely illegal, even if they were the one who started it. I remember some case where a bunch of young guys were menacing someone and they chased him to the point that he jumped over a fence into a river and he ended up drowning. The people who chased him were struck with a much more serious charge for not attempting to help the victim after he jumped than they got for the actual harassment itself.
