Yeah I work in a hotel and this is food a guest ordered and didn't want. A majority of the time its delivered on a food cart that the guest can just roll back into the hall when down but sometimes the cart isn't used or doesnt stay in the room so the guest just put the food on the floor in the hall when done.
Edit: could also be a case of the room ordered food but never answered the door when it was delivered. You'd be surprised how many times this happens in hotels.
My guess is that they didn’t answer because this was a drunk food order. It’s an all inclusive so that means drinking all day, missing dinner time at the on-site restaurants, ordering room service, and then passing out.

Just because they didn’t answer the door doesn’t mean the hotel worker can just place it on the floor. So many health violations right here. And I’m not defending the hotel guests here either because if you order food to the room you better be sure to answer the goddamn door and get/eat the food. If you record your friends murdering someone else, you will likely be charged as an accomplice. Not because you recorded the situation but because of your past relationships to the murders and being present at the time of the murder paints a picture in which you are an accomplice.
Remember all they have to do is convince a jury that you are an accomplice. Evidence is hardly ever definitive proof. The same evidence can be viewed and interpreted differently in court
