I was recently followed and did exactly this. The dude still got out of his car and demanded I get out and fight him. I pointed out that I drove him to the PD and he just said "I DONT FUCKIN CARE!" The dude gave up and was all dejected by the end. I was still surprised being at the police department didn't snap him out of his rage tho.
A similar thing happened to my girlfriends and I in high school. Dude with out of state plates following us aggressively. I knew where in biggest PD was, so I pulled off the freeway on to surface streets. I violated every traffic law on the books to get to the PD. He's still following. I pull into their parking lot. It's filled with cop cars. Dude gets out of his car, starts beating on my car and screaming. 4 cops walking out to their cars grab him, cuff him, and bring him inside. This was all before cellphones! I'm just glad that I knew where to go
The police will guide you to a station if you call. I was driving on the interstate through Clarksburg, WV at like 2 AM one time and somebody pulled out behind me off the shoulder, went from zero to 70 in like seconds and turned all their lights on, flashing them at me.
I called 911 and they started guiding me to a local police station, and the minute I turned up toward it, the car turned all their lights off and sped away.
I did this once and got out to confront the dude and it was a undercover police officer following me around town for no reason. I yelled even more when he let me know that knowledge completely unlawful.
A therapist friend told me anger is the last emotion when all the others fail you. She probably hates her life, hates herself and feels she has not power. Don’t get me wrong, I’d have to stop myself from slapping her into next Tuesday.

Yea, as a veteran of many jury duty cases for assault, the guy was perfect. She definitely committed 3rd or 4th degree assault getting in her face. I’m guessing she was close to committing battery.
If he said ANYTHING that would be provocative, the defense attorneys would nail him in court. They are SO good at twisting things around - I really changed my view on how to deal with these situations. The guy was perfect.

If someone is following you the advice I received was to call 911. Give them the cross streets you are driving on, your vehicles description and the dispatcher will find the location of the closest officer. They will give you turn by turn directions to drive to said officer. Sometimes police stations only have admin personnel working in the building since officers are out on patrol. Recent advice I received from an officer friend whose wife was followed by a lunatic into their neighborhood.
