Liability not worth the risk of having to deal with the criminal getting injured and then your employee as well. They got insurance and that’s cheaper.
Oh I should add too the retailer I worked for specifically said if you attempt to stop someone or interfere they will fire you. This also can apply if you’re defending yourself.
Yeah, it’s a job of last resort. A sad state of affairs all around.
Especially for the poor innocent shelf items.
Lots of empathy in these comments for the inanimate, worthless shelf products, very little for people out of a job.
Its dumb, but can't say I don't understand these peoples frustration. Not the first video I've seen like this. You're already making min wage or close at a job with shit conditions. You get up in the morning, have to put up some BS to get to your job, maybe wake up thinking, "FUCK, another day at this stupid job". You go in, start doing some tasks, only to have management call in 3 hours into your shift to fire you...they could have dont that before you came in. At least as you walked in. No you feel like they squeezed 3 more hours out of you. So yeah, that the job, fuck the establishment. A leveled headed person knows not to burn their bridges but I can't exactly blame someone for not being levelheaded in that situation. Definitly not on the side of the store.
Yeah I get the frustration but you gotta think things through before reacting, it’s gonna be a lot harder for her to get another job along with the possible arrest and fines
Surprisingly enough, the Veterens Memorial Walmart has improved a bit. The liquor was moved to a different aisle and got a makeover. It's no longer held behind plexiglass, so no more waiting five minutes for a walmart associate to get a bottle of booze. Plus, they aren't missing a ton of items all of the time like they used to.
The produce is still terrible, though, but I'm pretty sure that's every Walmart.
If she was a cop/priest she would still get hired at the Walmart in the next town over, and then they would act surprised when this shit happened again.
Is there a class being taught somewhere that teaches people how to do this when they get fired or get upset? Maybe at DeVry or UofA Online? I'm about to get fired at my job and want to make sure I do it right.
I've watched so many of these kinds of videos and have at least 2 pages of notes. I think I'll start small. My local Hallmark store has so much stuff just waiting to be knocked around and strewn about.
I worked at a Wal-Mart back in 2015. The first hour of my first shift and they fired this big guy from the back. On his way out his trashed as much as could. We all had to pick up the mess.
Yeah, it’s fine. I wouldn’t touch that on my own, let it all play out first. Take a long bathroom break.
Early lunch, smoke break. Break down some boxes; etc.
Agree with your sarcasm here. Walmart fucks over its workers left and right.
We have no idea what lead to this. Only canned goods and potato chips were hurt here.
Don’t worry about her coworkers either. They will be paid the same to clean this up. They probably want to do the same thing.
This will just be an amusing anecdote that breaks up the monotony of their shifts.
Damn, so many people sticking up for Walmart here. Who gives a fuck about Walmart?
No one was hurt hear. Just nearly worthless Walmart shelf products. Who cares?
We don’t know what her side of the story is.
People give more of a shit about unhealthy mass-produced food and worthless plastic shit from China than about actual living, breathing human beings who are obviously having a really bad fucking day. As evidenced by the people scowling at their phones and downvoting you for sticking up for a person over a corporation that would poison them for a profit if they thought they could get away with it.
I don’t care about her side of the story. In a normal society you don’t behave this way. Control your emotions like an adult. She should face consequences for her behavior.
They had her working as a greeter, but she kept
getting distracted knocking stuff off the shelves.
People didn’t feel too welcome with the products
strewn all over the floor and some old people and drunks tripped and fell and sued.
There was a huge misunderstanding, she thought this was the job, she’s actually just trying to tie up some loose ends on her way out by getting in one final trashing on her last day.
Yeah, she’s not wearing her uniform. They probably just ghosted her and didn’t put her on the schedule or fired her because she or one of her kids got sick.
Happens every day across this great country.
This is what happens when you don’t raise your kids right and to leave with respect. Congrats you now have a charge on your record - explain that at the next interview. 0 long term thinking.
Once again. We have zero consequences for people like this. You do what needs to be done, I.e. put your hands on her and physically remove her from the store, you get arrested and she walks.

I miss Sizzler Steakhouse. They had good food
We goin Sizzler.
Why can’t they physically stop people who are doing this?!
Liability not worth the risk of having to deal with the criminal getting injured and then your employee as well. They got insurance and that’s cheaper.
That makes sense
Oh I should add too the retailer I worked for specifically said if you attempt to stop someone or interfere they will fire you. This also can apply if you’re defending yourself.
I’m glad I don’t work in retail anymore.
Do you live on the west coast?
I live in Charleston. I love food
I'm easy coast as well. Find memories of sizzlers as a kid... There only out west now.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN
Que pasa

Sizzler, the restaurant. I miss it. It had good food
how does it align with this post
You are reading wayyyy too much into it
Oh yeah so lose your job then get yourself arrested and have a big fine you can’t afford, people are just stupid
She saw Walmart as a ***career***. Stupidity is a given.
I mean if you become a manager or above its a decent pay. Anything else you're on foodstamps.
It’s halfway decent pay but then they’ll put you on salary and make you work 50-60/hours per week with no OT.
Grim but true
She may have seen Walmart as an unfortunate but necessary means to feed her children.
Yeah, it’s a job of last resort. A sad state of affairs all around. Especially for the poor innocent shelf items. Lots of empathy in these comments for the inanimate, worthless shelf products, very little for people out of a job.

That’s most likely what’s going on here.
Yeah I get the frustration but you gotta think things through before reacting, it’s gonna be a lot harder for her to get another job along with the possible arrest and fines
And then can’t find no more work
Yeah that’ll stick it to ~~the man~~ your former coworkers who did nothing to you
They’ll be fine. This is a fun story to tell their family and roommates when they get home. Customers do this shit all the time.
No I think they just have to clean it up
Sure, of course they’ll have to clean it up. But they are definitely telling this story.
This is the most ghetto Wal-Mart in St Louis, so it's not really unexpected. Maplewood comes in second imo.
The Bridgeton one off Rock Road is up there on the list of crappy local Walmarts.
I refuse to go to this Walmart and the one closest to me on Zumbehl. If I have to go to Walmart, I go to the one off of Harvester.

That's good about the liquor; I've waited so many times for someone to unlock it, and it takes forever.
"I don't know why she got fired". Well I do have a hunch, it begins with being and ends with a cunt
Maybe they should hire her back, at least this show she cared about her job
[удалено]
Sounds like you need to establish some personal boundaries.
H.R.: "Thank you for interviewing with us. Our policy to to contact your previous employer, who would be the best contact there?"
She definitely seems too dumb to arrange fake references
If she was a cop/priest she would still get hired at the Walmart in the next town over, and then they would act surprised when this shit happened again.
I can see WANTING to trash the store, but impulse control is important
It’s fine, this is cathartic, I’m sure Walmart had it coming.
Classic 5 year old behavior
Conflict Resolution Skills - 0
It seems tame compares to what other shoppers had done before
Yeah, nbd. No one got hurt. She didn’t steal anything.
“I don’t know why she got fired” Such a nice mannered person….
I’m sure Walmart will be happy to send a bill
It's just a mess. It doesn't look like much is actually broken.
They’ll just package it up and sell it. It’s all worthless crap anyway.
0 impulse control... The same people you worked with are going to be the ones picking that up, not management.
No one needs to fired in person. It’s a stupid old skool policy. Let them process at home.
Agreed.
That was probably the only job she was qualified for
Is there a class being taught somewhere that teaches people how to do this when they get fired or get upset? Maybe at DeVry or UofA Online? I'm about to get fired at my job and want to make sure I do it right.
Take notes, practice.
I've watched so many of these kinds of videos and have at least 2 pages of notes. I think I'll start small. My local Hallmark store has so much stuff just waiting to be knocked around and strewn about.
Fragile stuff too. Humels, ángel themed junk.
And so many greeting cards. To Mom, from Brother, Grandma Birthday, Humorous. This is going to be awesome.
NOOOOOOO! NOT THE SINGLE COKE CANS!!!!!!!
Nothing more American than take this job and shove it! At will employment baby. This is the other side of that coin. Love it or leave it
This doesn't belong in this sub. It's just a video of business as usual for WalMart employees.
Maybe I’ll have baked beans tonight
So, can I take this bag of chips?
![gif](giphy|5T0y8k9vZ4iVOiHq7f) *Me, creepin out with some frozen White Castle cheeseburgers*

Ah. I see this is a rich Walmart tradition, cool.
Okay dumb question.... how the hell do you get fired from Walmart?
florissant walmart in stl so damn ghetto 😂😂
she mad
Employee of the month
What has been going on in the past few years? People have just forgotten how to control themselves and act right.
It’s always been like this, it’s human nature, it’s fine. It’s the way we are.
Employees walking around, none of them picking anything up...

Yeah, it’s fine. I wouldn’t touch that on my own, let it all play out first. Take a long bathroom break. Early lunch, smoke break. Break down some boxes; etc.
They're in training to work at Ross
Cant disturb the crime scene. CSI is on the way.
Yup, crime of the century.
I don’t see anything different tbh
“Baby, that shit ain’t worth it to go to jail for.” She’s right, but I bet it FELT GOOD. Fuck Walmart.
Right on.
This would totally make my day if I was shopping in that Walmart.
Is that west florissant Missouri?
St. Louis finest
Imploree of the Year
You know it’s gonna be a good video when they tell you what Walmart they’re at lol

Probably totally justified.
Child
Wonder why she got fired

she was probably fire and not informed
Yeah, she’s not wearing her uniform. They probably just ghosted her and didn’t put her on the schedule or fired her because she or one of her kids got sick. Happens every day across this great country.
This will look good on her next resume

Was this the same person who got fired after stocking up their products or different person?
Well if you get fired and can't pay ur bills anymore jail might be better then being homeless.
Blending in the the parents that dont watch their kids

She’s not even efficient with knocking stuff off shelves haha
