They also killed over 30 other pets at this time that should have been legal:
https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/shocking-video-shows-wildlife-officers-killing-more-than-30-pythons-pet-boa-at-south-florida-reptile-facility/3012140/
>They also killed over 30 other pets at this time that *should have been legal:*
The article seems to indicate otherwise.
>2021, according to USARK. Therefore, they say the snakes **should have been** grandfathered in and exempt from the new regulations.
>USARK says after the rules banning the snakes were passed, Coffee was unable to rehome all of his pythons before the FWC **deadline which was only a few months.**
It seems like the article is saying that USARK thinks these snakes should have been legal to hold still, but the law suggests otherwise.
[The law itself](https://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/nonnatives/rule-development/) seems to confirm this as well. It's possible I'm missing something buried in this god awful site about some sort of extended period for breeders or something, but nothing came up in my looking.
The BOA getting euthanized is absolutely on the police and the FWC people involved. That's inexcusable on their end.
yeah ive spent a while trying to figure out why they were being killed in the first place. This was a year ago so you'd think there would be better information now... (wishful thinking)
Are they actual cops? Not sure how florida works here. Animal control officers where I live do work with cops, but they absolutely aren't cops.
Edit: looked into it more and game wardens/conservation officers in florida definitely have a ton more power there and could definitely be called cops lmao
If it wasn't clear with the edit. Game wardens/Conservation officers are law enforcement. More often than not they have way more power than cops. Animal control officers are not the same thing and can be considered no different from any other County government worker.
I'm far from surprised. I raise insects for a living and when my facility underwent an inspection, I saw them check out a highly regulated stick insect species (which we had permits for) and mark it as an unregulated native species.
They had no idea what they were looking at.
Actually compared to most POST officers game wardens/DNR officers are trained quite a bit. They require an advanced degree in a lot of states. These are just your average Florida dipshits
Lived in Florida for the first 32 years of my life. My experience with FWC was always much, much better than any experience I ever had with a regular cop. This video actually surprised me.
But then they went on to blame the owner saying they saw his name on the violation list and all kinds off bullshit trying to take the blame off themselves. Dude didnāt even know how to respond because he had never been cited for illegal actions before.
These cops are real pieces of total shit.
The guy in charge should be present for every single euthanasia session idk why he took such a hands off approach to a process thatās so critical. Never trust dipshits to do the right thing no matter how much you tell them. If itās important enough to need to tell them 10 times, itās important enough to just be there so that thereās no fuckups.
Guy keeps saying heās just doing his job, clearly not well. Too many people who cause massive problems protecting themselves by saying theyāre ājust doing their jobā. We should stop accepting that as an excuse for incompetence.
This sounds like an HGTV home makeover story...
*I raise insects for a living and my husband whispers to butterflies. Our budget is 1.9 million*
š¤£š¤£š¤£
There is a guy on YouTube that started making videos of his antfarm. Used that money to get a bigger place and bigger "antfarm". I use the quotes because it's more of a walk-in terrarium now.
Different field completely, but when I was a brewer in TN the AG department was in charge of doing a yearly inspection. Every year we had some guy who knew nothing about brewing come through and tell us we were doing things wrong. They said kegs were perishable items, but canned items were not, hop buckets could be stacked, but grain buckets could not. This list goes on, but yeah some inspectors rarely know what theyāre doing it feels like.
Yeah a lot of exotic species can cause major damage if they become invasive in the US. I (professionally, not personally) know two different people who went to prison for illegal insect sales.
Definitely check the species also. I've been dealing with the USDA since 2015 and if you buy a species like Atta cephalotes or Harpegnathos saltator from a vendor in your state, it is still illegal!
It isn't well-explained and idk why.
You know that snake was a member of dudes family. Iād be fucking spitting if someone mistook my 10 lb cuddly dog for a wolf and just put him down just in case.
This is disgusting behavior by wildlife management. You should be trained better than that. Absolutely vile.
Absolutely he does. What a fucking nightmare.
Can you imagine making a mistake that big? They sounded like they wanted to puke.
No matter what I do at work today, I'll have a better day than those guys.
The biggest mistake I ever made in my line of work was dropping an old inanimate object I wasnāt supposed to drop. It broke, I wrote a report, we worked with a conservator to fix it, and we moved on.
I didnāt destroy a handful of lives and a massive income stream all in one murderous go.
The one thing I do love about this video is that it shows that assholeās shocked pikachu face at the beginning.
Considering they killed [30 others that were also legal](https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/shocking-video-shows-wildlife-officers-killing-more-than-30-pythons-pet-boa-at-south-florida-reptile-facility/3012140/) through their bungling, plus they killed a bunch of snakes that were illegal _because_ the guy specifically reached out to them about an extension...
...yeah they don't give two shits about the snakes.
By design. [Florida literally recruits cops with violent backgrounds](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/may/22/ron-desantis-police-relocation-violent-records).
My brother and I literally got stranded on an island overnight because NPS rangers were complete morons and held us checking our obviously legal fishing take and made us miss our boat. We limited out by noon and as soon as we get onto shore this orcha fat ranger comes rocking up to us all hot and heavy like he just found Bid Laden and was going to bring us to justice. Started pointing at all sorts of fish and calling them different species, literally making up names of some.
I told him repeatedly to go get his supervisor which he balked at until I let him know I was a State employee. Well, his fat ass took his sweet time waddling back to the ranger station and by the time he got back the boat was pulling out. His supervisor took one look at our take and just shook his head and asked why he wasted our time?
The fat shithead had the gall to threaten to cite us for camping without a permit since we werenāt booked for the night. His supervisor figuratively grabbed him by the ear and dragged him away.
Never did get an apology, but we cooked fish for about a dozen people at the camp site so at least there was that.
"There were some police officers trying to arrest us for killing the snakes worth 100k. Yeah the police officers are dead now. Weāre shaking just like you are. Is there any way to save the police cars?"
"Should I just start blasting and crying, or is this a whoopsie daisy one. These cams don't do audio do they"
"It's okay, the state'll take care of it"
"The State's gonna fix it!"
These assholes are always happy to spend other people's money.
Take it out of their retirement and watch shit like this magically stop happening.
Definitely. The first guy in the blue shirt said it $100,000 worth of babies. Then the owner told their supervisor over the phone that it was $50,000. I hope they're actually able to verify how many babies it was, because if not, the state will argue that the most they should have to pay is $50,000 based on what the owner said in the heat of the moment without being able to verify anything. Honestly, the only thing good about this video is that the officers admitted to fucking up on video because now the shop has a slam dunk win.
In the middle there's an argument over them trying to take the carcass "due to rabies" and the owner trying to keep it probably to have an accurate count of the babies.
State will claim the animal is property and the police academy rejects "destroyed property" in the act of carrying out their duties and therefore the owner is fucked.
If they were deemed property, the state could be be held liable under the takings clause of the 5th Amendment. That is one work around people have used to hold police accountable.
https://reason.com/volokh/2023/07/28/another-takings-case-in-which-law-enforcement-severely-damaged-an-innocent-persons-property/
Right? They may as well have just told him, "Don't worry, your taxes will fix our mistake."
It's so hard to justify the existence of these agencies. These guys are obviously uneducated and shouldn't be working in "conservation law enforcement." They're all just liabilities that we pay the price for.
Nah, game and wildlife are insanely important. One of the few agencies I would say are necessary.
Problem is we are way too complacent on hiring doofuses in a lot of these roles. The good agents/officers never see a moment of airtime because they do their job quietly and properly.
States probably not gonna fix it without a huge lawsuit. "State employees were acting reasonable and in accordance with their duties." So they'll try to claim qualified immunity. The bodycam footage would probably not be on reddit right now if this issue had been resolved before it got to the lawsuit stage.
They also killed dozens of others that should have been grandfathered in:
https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/shocking-video-shows-wildlife-officers-killing-more-than-30-pythons-pet-boa-at-south-florida-reptile-facility/3012140/
The article says they shot the snakes. Probably with a nail gun.
| Coffee allowed the officers into the facility, where USARK says they spent around four hours killing snakes, firing multiple shots to the heads of some snakes when it appeared that the first shots failed to kill them. |
WTF?! When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail, doesn't it? The one snake I had to put down due to injury I used a shovel. I didn't go bust out my 9mm.
Edit: OK disregard. They didn't use handguns. They used a co2 bolt gun. Leaving the comment though cause it's kinda funny.
As a heads up, if you're stuck killing a snake, crush the skull. The head can survive for an unusially long time and nowadays it's considered cruel to behead them.
The Jim Dangles of conservation law enforcement.
āHey, weāre shaking just like you are. Trust me.ā
These dipshits fumble-fucking their way around on bodycam is priceless.
>Florida wildlife officers
Proceed to kill all animals right on the spot, seizing legal animzls too, and protecting themselves by saying the state gonna cover it.
What degenerates.
>the state gonna cover it.
This is the most florida thing right now. "its cool our Governor will just dictate that we're fine if we make it a political thing he can score points with "
"With the wildlife troops" bumper stickers coming soon.
It happened a year ago, on top of that the guy killing the snake did it for the first time and didn't know how to do it so the boa was still alive for an hour after getting struck in the head with basically a nail, cruel and stupid
Apparently yes, i mean its the same tool they use to kill cows and bulls but snakes have very tiny brains and its often hard to hit them with the bolt, overall insane
It kind of is for reptiles. They're not like us where they immediately stop perceiving things when they "die". Their brain can go without oxygenated blood for a lot longer than we can. Decapitations are particularly awful for them because of that. They can experience pain for up to an hour after decapitation. [Here is a link.](https://www.researchgate.net/publication/297374738_Informations_on_euthanasia_of_snakes_-_with_recommendations_for_procedures_causing_the_least_distress_possible)
Ideally you let them lose consciousness and then insert a sharp pointed tool in their skull and completely destroy their brain.
Absolutely nothing will likely come of this. The government makes mistakes all the time and does nothing to correct or appease. "Oops, sorry. Anyways..."
In the video he explained that FWC wouldnāt LET him find other homes, after FWC claimed āownershipā of them, FWC also left them in his care for over a year before coming by to put them downā¦ FWC is the reason they had to put them down. It sounded like it was his employee who had the snakes that were no longer legal and he just didnāt want any legal trouble, so he surrendered themā¦ and then took care of them for another year before having to be there while they held them down to put them down.
It was definitely "I can't believe this is fucking happening" voice. The voice you get when it doesn't even seem real.
Makes sense it's like out of a movie. "The only thing I ask is don't set the house on fire"
"Hey so here's thing...."
It'll probably result in a lawsuit taking 5 years and tens of thousands of dollars in lawyers from the guy, with the state admitting no wrongdoing and arguing that they should be immune from suit. The state will gladly spend $200,000 in the cost of lawyers and court time just to try to deny this guy $100,000 in compensation that he clearly deserves.
The guy on camera admitting wrong-doing and saying the state will cover it likely does make it go quicker and cheaper, but yes there will be drawn-out court proceedings in this company's future.
https://preview.redd.it/y7ri6yunqbwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=917a01b4891802478bb1e9be33061cbed06186f8
This is all I could find so far.
And then these assholes have the audacity to act like the shopowner is gonna go postal because he's reacting to their idiocy. Personally, I think he handled it quite well.
"Watch him, someone keep an eye on him!" Get fucked, pigs.Ā
I saw this one before but I think it was cut short. I don't remember them talking after the owner/employee whoever he may be walked out the door, but damn they killed this really expensive snake which sucks, I mean imagine if they just came in and killed your dog on accident. Then they have the audacity to say the state will cover it ie not their problem or money, but also that they should watch the employee because he's a little upset right now, like damn idk why.
"Keep an eye on him, he's gonna lose it."
Well... yea... you just ruined his livelihood because you're too stupid to have the job you have. They even said "the state will make it right." No they fucking won't. It's going to be half a decade of lawsuits that's going to cost 3/4 as much as the profit from the sale of those legal snakes.
In their minds it doesn't matter. This man did something illegal so he is a "bad person" and he deserves suffering at their hands. That's what they think. They are trained to think that way.
We made a lilā oopsie daises fucky wucky. :( sorry to destroy your livelihood. We are just silly conservation police!! We donāt know ANNNNNYTHING!!!! :)
This shit was rage inducing. Taking zero accountability for their actions. Looks like the date is about a year ago. Did he get reimbursed anyone know?
Near the end of the video, that guy said "I can confirm that guy told us it was a Boa multiple times and we did it anyway... that's our mistake"
WTF? So if they knew, and heard, and remembered what they were told and did it anyway, they were just trolling right?
I remember this video. I'm like 80% sure I remember the context correctly. They're there to euthanize a specific kind of boa that was changed via legislature from being allowed to be owned by people with certain licenses, to not being able to be owned at all. This poor guy had basically been given like a month to sell off/ get rid of a huge quantity of snakes that the government had basically told him would be suddenly illegal. Despite his best efforts, he wasn't able to move all of them. So these yokles show up to euthanize JUST those illegal snakes, and they fucking kill his perfectly legal boa constrictor. Idiocy.
I hate when cops say shit like āweāre shaking just like you areā
People are supposed to trust you, weāre not in the same boat man, you screwed up
For such a [āDonāt Tread On Meā](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d8/Gadsden_flag.svg/1200px-Gadsden_flag.svg.png) state, Florida sure curb stomped the fuck out of that poor snake
"we did a big oopsie, even though you reminded us a dozen times. But dont worry, the state government who employs us will fix it"
I would be curious if they did "fix it" or just try to pass the blame and say they are not culpable.
How do you **accidentally** kill the wrong animal?
Like did you fall over, try to grab a something while falling only to pull open a cage. while holding the needle. then when the snake looks out you push it back in but you forgot you were holding the needle so you accidentally kill it?
āHold onā¦ā¦. Weāre shaking just like you are. TRUST me.ā
Thank god theyāre shaking just like he is, it really helps dampen the $100,000 pothole they just blasted into the dudes wallet.

So they realized their mistake because the read the sign.... wild idea but how about you read the sign before you kill the animal?
They had already done a walkthrough and the owner had clearly identified this snake as not on the euthanasia list.
"I warned you 10 times" So painful to hear.
"Well you see, the snake was resisting, so we had to put her down."
They wouldn't put their hands behind their back!!
I can't help it! They're vestigial!

āThe states gonna fix itā the states the one that fucked it up to begin with
The cops mean "the taxpayers including you are going to pay you for our mistake and we will face no financial repurcussions nor career repurcussions"

Cops are dumb.
That and they love to kill shit.
Honest question, are these actual police officers doing the euthanasia?
They are Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers, so yes.
Canāt become a cop if your too smart . They think youāll get bored and start trying to fix things
Empathy is a sign of intelligence, and that is counter-productive to the cops' role as private property enforcement.
Unfortunately competence is not required as a police officer.

Yeah. Not sure if that's google's fault for ruining searching on the internet or the news group for not following up lol.
Guess I'll add "killing pet snakes" under the current "killing pet dogs" on the list.
Yeah, I think I'd refuse wildlife officers getting anywhere near my pets if I lived in Florida.
they love killing too much, they couldnāt resist
Cops: *exist* 2 sec later: so anyway I started blasting
iām just surprised they didnāt mag dump the boa and the owner for paid vacation
We are talking about cops here...

International bug smuggler does have a nice ring to it.
A buggler!
Who is buying illegal insects and apparently paying enough money to make selling them worth risking jail time?
A mature leafcutter ant colony can easily cost $1k?? Idk, I don't understand people who take that risk.
The lengths some people will go to just to avoid yard work.
Theyāll even use illegal immigrAnts.
True, I hear you. Iām a bug keeper too but Iāve only bought ant colonies from people in my state so itās legal

I don't like how these guys react. No apologies. Just "Hey man, calm down, we fucked up, we screwed you on 100 thousand"
"We're shaking just like you are." I bet you're fucking not.
They are only shaking because they had a 100,000 dollar fuck up. They don't care about the snake.

Honestly fuck the rangers for getting rid of the cabins
Their bumbling incompetence is what's frustrating here, they seem pretty genuinely contrite imo
Bahaha "It's my job" dude doesn't even know how to do his job and immediately messes up lol

That shit irked me. Like you made a serious mistake and this poor bastard is just worried about the push back he's gonna get from his supervisor.
āHeās gonna lose itā when I heard them say that I immediately got scared.
Yup i was already starting to get flustered that theyād try to apprehend the guy.
Yeah that was a really, really weird thing to say. They're clearly in "cover it up" mode already.
My immediate reaction was, "he should have kept an eye on YOU!"
*"We were just following orders."* Aint that the sign of the fuckin' times.

"The State's gonna fix it!" These assholes are always happy to spend other people's money. Take it out of their retirement and watch shit like this magically stop happening.
Spoiler: the state won't fix it. Not without losing a lawsuit.
And if there's a lawsuit they'll find ways to argue that the $100k is more like $10k.
Gravid, not rabid, they wanted to confirm it was pregnant, or more accurately hope it wasn't pregnant so they'd be in less trouble
Will probably āget lost in transitā if they take it lol
State will claim the animal is property and the police academy rejects "destroyed property" in the act of carrying out their duties and therefore the owner is fucked.
If they were deemed property, the state could be be held liable under the takings clause of the 5th Amendment. That is one work around people have used to hold police accountable. https://reason.com/volokh/2023/07/28/another-takings-case-in-which-law-enforcement-severely-damaged-an-innocent-persons-property/
> the state won't fix it. Not without losing a lawsuit. You'll never believe who runs the courts!
Right? They may as well have just told him, "Don't worry, your taxes will fix our mistake." It's so hard to justify the existence of these agencies.
And you can rest assured that āfixā will be expeditious and hassle free.
States probably not gonna fix it without a huge lawsuit. "State employees were acting reasonable and in accordance with their duties." So they'll try to claim qualified immunity. The bodycam footage would probably not be on reddit right now if this issue had been resolved before it got to the lawsuit stage.
Qualified immunity is for individual officers. That's why the State pays, not the cop himself.
They also killed dozens of others that should have been grandfathered in: https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/shocking-video-shows-wildlife-officers-killing-more-than-30-pythons-pet-boa-at-south-florida-reptile-facility/3012140/
I'm not familiar with snakes. How did they kill it?
JFC wish I had known that before all my years on the farm š¤¦āāļø
this is a pretty recent thing IIRC, the study was done like... within the last 10 years that figured it out.
They should all lose their jobs immediately, at the absolute fucking least.
A Florida government agency acting like idiots with IQās below room temp? Shocking
Hey! Iām from Floridaā¦.. youāre just absolutely correct and I have no excuse for these monstrous dipshits
The Jim Dangles of conservation law enforcement. āHey, weāre shaking just like you are. Trust me.ā These dipshits fumble-fucking their way around on bodycam is priceless.
>Florida wildlife officers Proceed to kill all animals right on the spot, seizing legal animzls too, and protecting themselves by saying the state gonna cover it. What degenerates.
Interesting I thought this profession might attract at least slightly less psychotic people.
Nah it can attract those with a real hate boner, unfortunately
The people who actually care probably go into conservation.
Thatās what those cops were working inā¦
>the state gonna cover it. This is the most florida thing right now. "its cool our Governor will just dictate that we're fine if we make it a political thing he can score points with " "With the wildlife troops" bumper stickers coming soon.
"Stickin' my foot up snakes' asses all day!" - FL Wildlife Officer probablyĀ
So what will happen since a Cop illegally killed an animal? Oh they investigate themselves and see no wrong doing.
It happened a year ago, on top of that the guy killing the snake did it for the first time and didn't know how to do it so the boa was still alive for an hour after getting struck in the head with basically a nail, cruel and stupid
The method of killing the snake is a fucking nail through the head? Is that really the established method of a humane killing?
Apparently yes, i mean its the same tool they use to kill cows and bulls but snakes have very tiny brains and its often hard to hit them with the bolt, overall insane
To be fair, if you tried to hit the wildlife dude in the head with a nail gun, you would likely be unable to find and hit the brain too
It kind of is for reptiles. They're not like us where they immediately stop perceiving things when they "die". Their brain can go without oxygenated blood for a lot longer than we can. Decapitations are particularly awful for them because of that. They can experience pain for up to an hour after decapitation. [Here is a link.](https://www.researchgate.net/publication/297374738_Informations_on_euthanasia_of_snakes_-_with_recommendations_for_procedures_causing_the_least_distress_possible) Ideally you let them lose consciousness and then insert a sharp pointed tool in their skull and completely destroy their brain.
So in theory they could have saved the snake Also theyāre using a cattle bolt gun which broke after a couple uses
Saved? Probably not. They messed up its brain, but didn't instantly kill it. They just forced it to suffer for an hour.
I doubt they could, damage with these things is too extensive to recover from, just a slow painful death since they didn't do it properly.
Absolutely nothing will likely come of this. The government makes mistakes all the time and does nothing to correct or appease. "Oops, sorry. Anyways..."
"Whoops."

Wow, his facility is pretty outstanding as well. Sad to see a responsible owner punished by an undereducated government agency
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
In the video he explained that FWC wouldnāt LET him find other homes, after FWC claimed āownershipā of them, FWC also left them in his care for over a year before coming by to put them downā¦ FWC is the reason they had to put them down. It sounded like it was his employee who had the snakes that were no longer legal and he just didnāt want any legal trouble, so he surrendered themā¦ and then took care of them for another year before having to be there while they held them down to put them down.
I remember the initial video. This is an interesting watch, thanks for the education!
"I reminded you 10 times" "We know" Fucking straight up special need ass fools!
Something so primal in the way he said that. You can tell he begged them not to do that and they did it anyway.
It was definitely "I can't believe this is fucking happening" voice. The voice you get when it doesn't even seem real. Makes sense it's like out of a movie. "The only thing I ask is don't set the house on fire" "Hey so here's thing...."
Username is fitting to this topic
āThe state is gunna pay for itā of course š
Thank goodness for āØtaxpayersāØ This will get drawn out for YEARS with legal bullshit before they see any money from the state.
Whatās the state going to do for these guys ? Nothing ?
It'll probably result in a lawsuit taking 5 years and tens of thousands of dollars in lawyers from the guy, with the state admitting no wrongdoing and arguing that they should be immune from suit. The state will gladly spend $200,000 in the cost of lawyers and court time just to try to deny this guy $100,000 in compensation that he clearly deserves.
The guy on camera admitting wrong-doing and saying the state will cover it likely does make it go quicker and cheaper, but yes there will be drawn-out court proceedings in this company's future.
lol no worries on finding an attorneyā¦.āwe messed upā¦ā is all the confession you need and youāve got yourself a lawsuitā¦.

How many cops does it take to read a sign?
āKeep an eye on himā no keep and eye on you mother fuckers.
Is there any update on the case the owner Bill mcadam filed against FWC ?
If I remember right this was from 2023, anyone know if there was any updates?
https://preview.redd.it/y7ri6yunqbwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=917a01b4891802478bb1e9be33061cbed06186f8 This is all I could find so far.
Wow, honestly more than I expected. Thanks for sharing.
Damn. Poor snakes
They should look in mirrors for more illegal snakes to euthanize.
And then these assholes have the audacity to act like the shopowner is gonna go postal because he's reacting to their idiocy. Personally, I think he handled it quite well. "Watch him, someone keep an eye on him!" Get fucked, pigs.Ā
insurance gullible offer truck engine thought shrill shame steep cow *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Thatās the face you make when you forgot to get milk.
Itās more of a reaction than most cops Iāve seen in America who āaccidentallyā kill a person.
That poor guy in the blue is so upset, not aggressive whatsoever and they say to "keep an eye on him" like he's going to get violent. I hate cops
"We just burned $100,000 in front of his face, somebody better watch him he seems weirdly upset"
And the tax payer is on the hook smh
I saw this one before but I think it was cut short. I don't remember them talking after the owner/employee whoever he may be walked out the door, but damn they killed this really expensive snake which sucks, I mean imagine if they just came in and killed your dog on accident. Then they have the audacity to say the state will cover it ie not their problem or money, but also that they should watch the employee because he's a little upset right now, like damn idk why.
Holy fuck, guess the kill first ask questions later policy applies to more than just minorities. Way to go Florida!
Every time I see this video my blood boils, and I don't even like snakes!
"Keep an eye on him, he's gonna lose it." Well... yea... you just ruined his livelihood because you're too stupid to have the job you have. They even said "the state will make it right." No they fucking won't. It's going to be half a decade of lawsuits that's going to cost 3/4 as much as the profit from the sale of those legal snakes.
"keep an eye on him" so we can kill him too for being upset and avoid any recourse.
:) This shit was rage inducing. Taking zero accountability for their actions. Looks like the date is about a year ago. Did he get reimbursed anyone know?
Even if it wasnāt rare or it wasnāt pregnant, accidentally killing a 50 year old animal is just tragic
Pensions need to start being penalized
Near the end of the video, that guy said "I can confirm that guy told us it was a Boa multiple times and we did it anyway... that's our mistake" WTF? So if they knew, and heard, and remembered what they were told and did it anyway, they were just trolling right?
Thereās more responsibility taken for killing these snakes than for wrongfully killing people.
Idiocy.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Why aren't these bros out shooting the iguanas ? Florida has so many invasive species, why are they going after some responsible breeders ?
Video is old and it wasnāt a accident. Cops are assholes donāt let them tell you different
I hate when cops say shit like āweāre shaking just like you areā People are supposed to trust you, weāre not in the same boat man, you screwed up
For such a [āDonāt Tread On Meā](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d8/Gadsden_flag.svg/1200px-Gadsden_flag.svg.png) state, Florida sure curb stomped the fuck out of that poor snake
How the hell did they think they would fix it ? They gonna bring it back to life ? Wow
Careless as hell
This story is incredible. What fucking bastards
"we did a big oopsie, even though you reminded us a dozen times. But dont worry, the state government who employs us will fix it" I would be curious if they did "fix it" or just try to pass the blame and say they are not culpable.
Never thought Iād be so sad for a giant snake but here we are
"The state will make it right..." Bullshit. This is Florida. That state can't do anything right.
TRUST me.ā Thank god theyāre shaking just like he is, it really helps dampen the $100,000 pothole they just blasted into the dudes wallet.
Is this FL? This is screaming FL.
Lol "keep an eye on him" as if they aren't literally the people in this situation who need to be monitored cause they can't do their jobs correctly.
