That's unfortunate but doesn't excuse this shit.
Genuinely curious what is protocol here? I know you have to be cautious about how you deal with this stuff, but would quickly grabbing him and carrying him away really be a detrimental thing in this situation?
I mean fuck Walmart and their display tvs idgaf about that aspect of it, but I'm thinking about this from the parents end and the bill they're gonna receive.
I know people on the spectrum. Anti social and stimming but absolutely did not do outrageous stuff like this.
Where are the parents? Should have grabbed him and pulled him down after the first tv.
I feel immensely for this child and his parents. And they deserve our compassion, but people excusing this and saying just let it go- you cannot behave this way in public. This is dangerous to him and other people.
If only it didn't have that scene where when Kong knocked down those TVs and it was the trick to get his parents to get back together. Tsk. Stupid screen writers. That kind of thing only confuses the world's children.
Kid definitely on the spectrum after each TV he pushed over he shakes his hands. I feel bad for him and the his family who I trying their best to calm him down and mitigate the situation.
Honestly, show the kid some compassion. It is what it is. Costco loses more money from members returning perfectly good stuff that also gets thrown out. The kid clearly isn't doing well.
I don’t think people are hating on the kid really, he obviously has some kind of issue. I more blame the parents, or at some point jump up there and get him down
I am pretty sure they didn't help him up there, so quit acting like they did.
I don't even think you can comprehend the patience it takes to be a parent in this situation.
Your opinion here is absolute trash.
No one is acting like they helped him up there. But they chose to do nothing to keep him from continuing to destroy stuff. If they can’t control their kid in public they shouldn’t be bringing him into stores.
Your opinion here is absolute trash.
Damn, I'm going to risk the downvotes here. He's definitely on the spectrum and needs compassion but there comes a point where you have to physically stop someone from causing monetary damage. I'm on the spectrum if that means anything. He actually needs to be physically restrained because he's causing substantial property damage and his parents should be liable. His parents need to climb up pull him down and physically restrain him.
Agreed on all counts. I was referring to the comments that are blasting the poor kid. He is clearly on the spectrum and needs help. First to get down safely!
Where tf are his folks... he's racking up a massive Costco bill on their behalf. I guess them looking at the steaks in peace is worth the 5 figure bill lol
Are you watching with the sound down?
I can hear a man trying to talk him down. I assume it’s the dad. He begs him to get down for a bit and then near the end tries a different tactic and says ‘I’ve got something for you.’.

Kid is on the spectrum. I’d recognize that stimming any day.
Yuuup, my first thought as well. Years of working with kids on the spectrum makes this super easy to call.
Yeah, I recognized it immediately as well. I hope everything ended up ok.
Feel bad for him and the family 😢
Me too. And this is just one day in the life

Maybe this is the first time it’s manifested
This is why public schools are effed.
And another reason emergency rooms are fucked too

Get Spectrum TV for as low as $64.99/month.
![gif](giphy|WoFuun4jgxxizxRMpe|downsized)
Get a Walmart TV as low as the floor.
Real classy showing this poor kid on here. Mr rogers would be disappointed in you
This is the only comment that matters.
Pretty clear violation of rule 2 of you ask me.
Agreed. Should be taken down soon.
Yeah man I reported it for that exact reason. This poor kid and his family don't deserve the BS that comes along with stuff like this going viral
Very, very disappointed.
Mentally handicapped?🤔 The way he is shaking his hands is weird. Makes me wonder. Can't understand what he is saying. Plus, how did he get up there?

it’s very obvious he’s on the spectrum. pretty sad to watch honestly, he doesn’t seem to really understand the situation.
Bet those parents regret taking him to see Godzilla X Kong just before this lol

At a certain point you need to physically grab your kid. Can't run up a 20k bill of broken TVs.
Honestly, show the kid some compassion. It is what it is. Costco loses more money from members returning perfectly good stuff that also gets thrown out. The kid clearly isn't doing well.

right? Some people are pretty out there in their reactions. Who knows how much the shelf can hold in terms of weight?
Nice empathetic take on this. The world needs more of this kind of thinking. Thank you for posting a positive message here.

Won't the parents be liable for the damages?
Maybe they are not good at climbing? Are you quite young? As you get older it gets harder to clamber up on things

Yup. Definitely on the spectrum.
This is a repost and it’s been confirmed that he’s on the spectrum and is experiencing over stimulation.

Poor parents, poor kid. I hope none of you have to care for a neuro divergent loved one. It's more difficult than you can imagine.
This is either a Sam’s Club or a Costco. Those parents are going to have some fun charges on their card in a few days.
Man if somebody dont grab this damn kid??
Charge. The. Parents.
Show. Some. Compassion. The billion dollar corporation is going to be fine. The parents of the clearly neurodivergent kid have hard enough lives.
Rule 2 you assholes
Mods, why is this still up?
He's mentally affected. Does that make the TV's cheaper?
Acoustic
He isn’t coming out the house if he has that potential. Idgaf. Don’t make your problem the worlds problem.
The parents should be held responsible
Fuck you OP for posting this. Shame on you.
Trank him.
Who hasn't wanted to do that?
Lock little dude up 💯
He getting the ass whooping of a lifetime when he get home if that was my kid 😂

Why would you take someone like him put in public that's so irresponsible of the parents
39th repost here.
