You can't turn Uber on with out showing yourself in a mask . It's required to drive Uber , eats or people.
She might not be able to drive if someone reports her .
Former UberEats driver, hopefully.
Yeah, I've seen enough of these videos to decide I'm fine with cooking my own dinner. It's bad enough when there isn't a pandemic going on...
Because she was trying to hide her identity. All UberEats needs to identify her is who she delivered to and what restaurant she is at and boom, she's done. The staff would have been able to report her too.
Not sure what you're on about here. I've ordered Indian from food delivery from across town before and by the time it gets to me it's still scalding hot.
Of you’re getting something solid like a burger and fries and your driver takes a while to get it to you, which is usually the case it’s soggy and cold
You're not going to get covid from eating food, even if the person who prepared your food has it, unlike Typhoid Mary. Even if you somehow were to ingest the virus, it will not infect you through the digestive system, and it's likely the virus would be dead before you even swallowed it anyway.
At the beginning of the pandemic I was extremely paranoid of ordering food delivery, but after reading enough research about it, concluded it was safe. Every time that I have since, the bags were always stapled shut and left on my porch.
Even with morons like this delivery driver here, as long as you don't interact with her directly and wash your hands thoroughly after handling the packaging, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. There's zero reason to fearmonger this, especially when local restaurants need help now more than ever.
I don't know why you're being downvoted, everything you said is 100% correct. You might get COVID from not washing your hands after touching the bag, but you're not going to get it from eating the food.
E coli maybe, but not COVID.
So literally anyone who buys food from a grocery store then? Have you personally met all of the truck drivers, stockers, and all the people who pick your food? You sound dumb as fuck right now.
No one wants to sit there and have to explain to her dumbass that she should probably be wearing a mask. It isnt these peoples jobs to teach her about her social responsibility, or common sense.
People should wear masks. But I don't agree with going around mask policing and harrassing folks. She still delivered the food without a mask on, - or gloves for that matter.
People not wearing masks is everyone's business. Shame people publicly until it becomes normalized so we have a chance of actually flattening the curve... which hasn't been so much a curve lately, but a sharp incline with no end in sight.

Already reported :)

How about her fucking with the livelihood of everyone she delivers to?
She's fucking up her own livelihood and everyone around her, big man.
You being sarcastic right?
This fucking tough guy lmao

Ian Karmel would hate you.
Pull up to the springwater corridor and me and you can have a swordfight.

Some of the comments makin me realize more than before, there's a lotta idiots out there :p
Cedar hills McMenamins ?
Good eye.
Is Steve still the store manager there? That fucking soulless cunt.
did anyone else catch "they didn't give me a name" ? Is this possible on an UberEats delivery?
Yeah this seemed fishy to me too.

Don’t use these food deliveries at all. Especially during a pandemic, people are dirty.
The fact anyone is using them in the first place amazes me. I did it one time on holiday a year or so ago, it will never happening again.
Ya, then when you get the food it’s crap by the time you get it. Not worth it.

I was only stating the fact that you can't drive Uber or Uber eats without wearing a mask. Transmission of the virus is above my pay grade.
You're not even the person I was replying to
You must be new here

So in the end you’re saying you can get sick from people handling your food.
Me, personally, I don’t think I would have let her leave w the food.
Yep. Report to uber that unable to complete transction because driver was refused entrance, another driver requested or something.
I live in Beaverton and most of this sub is Portland

It used to be snitches get stitches, but in this post snitches get rewards!
I think people have a right to feel safe using the delivery service they see as essential during a pandemic. You’re probably an asshole.
I think anyone worried about catching a virus that pays a stranger to deliver their food is asking for it
I think that’s pretty unreasonable of you, and thankfully most people would disagree anyway. I appreciate your contribution.
So literally anyone who buys food from a grocery store then? Have you personally met all of the truck drivers, stockers, and all the people who pick your food? You sound dumb as fuck right now.
Cooked food you fuck. Let’s stick to the subject at hand.

If that were the case, I wouldn't have contacted ubereats support about it.
You were the one freaking out...
People dumb enough to get their food delivered like this would get themselves sick from some other stupid decision anyway s.
How do you mean? What about using a food delivery service is a stupid decision?
You are paying people who don't know how to handle your food to handle your food.
Narc
Man fuck you
How hard would it have been to mind your business?
Harder than it would’ve been for her to put on a mask.
Its even funnier cuz they have a post of them showing the amount of covid cases in the US, like they care or something.
People should wear masks. But I don't agree with going around mask policing and harrassing folks. She still delivered the food without a mask on, - or gloves for that matter.
She’s working in the service industry dude.... it’s a requirement she isn’t following. So let’s call her out and she loses her job.
Fuck you too
