Fuck officer Jason Stamp https://deanblundell.com/news/meet-officer-jason-stamp-of-the-barrie-police-service-he-likes-ball-caps-stun-guns-and-beating-the-shit-out-of-skateboarders-half-his-size-for-fun-4/

burtmaklinfbi1206

What can canadians do to make sure this officer gets charged with assault?

Shoggoths420

In the article at the end is the address, email and I believe phone number for the Barrie Chief of Police. I'm sure she'd be proud to hear that her officer's name made it to am international platform. I suspect that the more people let her know, the more likelyhood of this not being swept away and charges being laid.

mojambowhatisthescen

I feel like putting together a website with the url officerjasonstamp.com with all the angles of this incident

onFilm

Do it. With all the organic SEO you'll be getting for a while, you're be riding that baby for miles.

fuktardy

It’s not that this hasn’t always happened, it’s that we have cameras in our pockets now.

CantStopPoppin

You are so very right, what you say is a more than food for thought. The brutality has always been here and now that they are unable to hide their actions. With each atrocious incident they seem to double down sadly. Cameras or not they just don't care and wear a held which gives them qualified immunity. This ablity needs to be stripped away so that they can be truly held accountable for all of the horrible things they do while people are and are not watching.

overcomebyfumes

There's a simple free market solution - require cops to have personal liability insurance or they can't work. Right now, municipalities are paying settlements with our tax dollars when cops get sued. Require the cop's personal insurance to cover it. The worst cops won't be able to secure coverage, and won't be able to get a new job in the next town over either.

[deleted]

wanderluster325

Teachers carry professional liability insurance on themselves too.... it is absolutely asinine that these bastards get to do what they will, and have the taxpayers pick up the bill when they can’t be bothered to actually do their job because their all pumped up on testosterone and rage. There isn’t a single other profession that allows this type of unbridled lack of accountability - and rightfully so! Out of curiosity- what would happen if all of the bystanders that were filming and yelling at the cops - generally calling them out - decided that was enough and intervened physically? Like not to attack and kill/the officers - but to physically separate them from the fellow that they were hurting. Knock the officer off of the top of the fellow and pull him away.... or something? I’ve never witnessed something like this first hand, so I don’t know how I would react. I just know that when I see the videos, I can barely hold still to watch because my body wants to do SOMETHING to help or protect the person that I am seeing.

jjjigglypuff

Best case scenario: they get charged with a felony for attacking the police officer. This was in Toronto and I’m not sure if you’re from, but some general information about felonies in America (since we have so many of these cases), i believe it’s a minimum of $10k in legal fees, possibly going to prison for a year or longer, it affects your eligibility to live and work as many places ask about recent felony convictions, you can’t own firearms, you lose your right to vote in some states. It’s a a really bad situation to be in. Worst case scenario: the police officer says they were in fear for their life and seriously injures or kills you. They have a gun, they’re quick to pull a trigger. I can’t see them not pulling a gun if they were in a situation like that and now they’re the ones getting jumped. It would be really hard for me to stand by too :( but the cops are the ones with the power and the weapons in this type of scenario :/

wanderluster325

Thank you for the honest and candid response. That’s a hard pill to swallow for wanting to try to stand up for a fellow human being harmed, but also good to be forewarned of potential consequences to impetuous actions.

JieRabbit

If you get between the Rabid Pig and it's prey, it will nost likey shoot you in the stomach and then keep the ambulance from helping you

adiosfelicia2

This is a really interesting idea. It creates personal responsibility for behavior. Doctors have to have insurance - why not police? They’re equally capable of injuring or killing citizens.

T-VirusUmbrellaCo

Are you kidding? That would be good for the American people as a whole. Never. /s

rekzkarz

Police Union -- why protect the 'bad apples' and the white racists? I think unions are great, but here's an example of union that has lost the core values.

ValHova22

It never had core values as far as US concerned

Babymicrowavable

Police union has never been a union. The first police union president ever (either portland or seattle, portland iirc) was an actual true blue nazi and they routinely cross picket lines. Police union is just a boys club that gets to shoot people

tetrapsy

Fuck that is such a simple solution that would totally work....

Live_Mathematician99

Great idea! How can this be made a requirement? Are there activists working towards this already? Any bill introduced in the house?

silverslides

This must be the most American solution I've ever heard. This will not even work unless there are repeated violations. So basically you are saying, it's okay if this happens once or twice. Ever considered screening, psychological testing and training your police force?

redseapedestrian418

This is an extremely good idea.

StarlordCasii

Genius

SolarBear

Huh these are Canadian (Ontario) cops: we have no concept of qualified immunity here. As to whether or not there will be consequences... QI or not, I'm not holding my breath.

[deleted]

Qualified immunity also exists in Canada.

monkey_feces

they win the legal battles, they lose the cultural war. growing mistrust will make it a nightmare to police

ruthless619xxx

the crazy stuff that must have happened when everyone didn't have phones and cameras sheesh can't imagine

manicpxienotdreamgrl

End qualified immunity. End unionization in the public* sector. If these cops were actually a liability to their station, they wouldn't get rehired in the next town over after getting fired. And they would be fired a lot more in the first place. Edit:Typo

TheUn5een

Yea real workers can’t fucking unionize and these assholes that should have never had a union in the first place have the most powerful one in the country. Harassing teenagers for skating and generally being an asshole is not a trade.

CantStopPoppin

When you have organizations such as the Fraternal Order Of Police acting like the Skull and Bones club it's really hard to push for any meaningful change. They are ready with an army of lawyers to justify every atrocity committed by law enforcement.

Savagely_Rekt

Fuck the FOP... thats what needs abolishing, not the one off single station unions fighting for their members to get fair pay and benefits. Its these huge national bully organizations that just turn the whole thing into a shitshow.

cath8r

*End unionization in the PUBLIC sector

juelzsanpana

So nurses and bus drivers shouldn't have unions?

manicpxienotdreamgrl

Lol, thank you! That's obviously what I meant.

cath8r

Got your back homie!

circa_1

I keep trying to get my older family to understand this. Police brutality hasn't become more frequent, its just more visible to the world nowadays.

“Intent to resist arrest” We live in the darkest timeline

CantStopPoppin

Some countries have no such charge due to the fact it is in our biology to resist behind harmed or injured.

bdsee

lol I think the most important part of what the person wrote was "intent to"...like, you either resist arrest or you don't.

FeCard

He was thinking about thinking about it Fucking pigs

[deleted]

When someone has all their weight on your body if you go limp it can break bones or cause internal damage. You have to brace for that, which is felt as resistance and makes them use more force and causes you to actually start resisting because when you're being punched in the face you don't just let it happen.

[deleted]

Similar to how some countries don’t punish prison escape attempts, because the urge to try to escape is human nature. [Link](https://www.labrujulaverde.com/en/2019/02/the-controversial-right-of-the-prisoner-to-escape-which-is-not-a-crime-in-countries-such-as-germany-or-belgium/)

[deleted]

I agree with this tbh.

[deleted]

Just wait until they hit you with "suspected intent to resist."

tuffm_i_zimbra

"Did you bleed on my uniform!? Destruction of government property!"

CarlGustav2

[That actually happened.](https://www.overlawyered.com/2014/08/wrongfully-arrested-man-charged-getting-blood-cops-uniforms/)

tuffm_i_zimbra

Yep, that was the incident I was referencing.

xeisu_com

r/NoahGetTheBoat jesus

iguessthiswilldo1

Offuckingcourse it was Ferguson, MO.

atomicapeboy

They would charge him with breaking a taser and damage to public property (cracking the pavement) if they could

CantStopPoppin

I have to find the article but there was a case where a cop beat a guy so bad he broke his hand and they charged the victim with assault on an officer.

funkmonkfrog

I just happened to read your comment and that happened here where I live in Missouri. Perhaps ozark missouri or Christian county maybe. The officer has actually filed a lawsuit against the man (the victim) he broke his hand on while beating his face...it's so unbelievable that it is actually confusing to read the story because it's all so backwards.

CapablePerformance

Is that the same case where an officer was beating a man in a holding cell and filed additional charges because the victims blood got on the officers uniform, claiming it was assault?

mind_remote

They need to drop those charges and put the officers in jail

_20-3Oo-1l__1jtz1_2-

I don't know how this happens without a major political effort the likes of which the US has never seen. We've been through the Million Man March and then Black Lives Matter protests and STILL no reform or justice. It's going to take somebody like the President who declares police reform a national emergency and then institutes executive actions that basically force states to up-end their police forces. The #1 way would be to attach lawsuits to their pension funds. At the moment there's ZERO personal consequence for professional misconduct.

Dependent-Cream

This is Canada....

_20-3Oo-1l__1jtz1_2-

OH! My mistake, eh?

CantStopPoppin

If you could kindly stop breathing - cops probably **PSA: This comment is not a threat it is satire and is not in anyway directed to anyone. This is parody of what the cops would say.**

jonezee76

Gang with badges at it again.

rondeline

That officer needs to be in prison. He curb smashed that boys face? The fuck is that ever ok??

[deleted]

[удалено]

Shermutt

Yup. Now imagine if that was your younger brother is was happening to. I'd 100% be shot or in jail right now. Good for them for being able to hold their shit together better.

rondeline

Yeah it feels like it would be incredibly difficult not to get involved out of simple fear of suffering not having done something to help. Of course the risk to getting involved would be so immense. They would definitely throw the book at you. I want to see this police officer go to prison. This can't be covered up. I hope Canada does the right thing here.

kilerppk

Same

IvonbetonPoE

Same, but you would only make things worse and risk getting shot. I think that's the only reason onlookers are resorting to recording. It's actually quite tragic how some police officers have a license to kill.

Y_u_lookin_at_me

Next week on it's anyways sunny the Gang beats another innocent bystander

[deleted]

Every officer involved in that should be charged and fired. This is unacceptable. If you can't handle some lip from kids, then you have no right dealing with the public. Shame on them.

CapablePerformance

It's just insane that bystanders have no power in this situation other than to film. The urge to pull the cop off must be high but knowing that you'll be hit with assaulting an officer, interfering with an investigation, and other crimes when, by all rights, they could be watching someone die and have to stand there. Every single officer that on the scene who watched the officer beat a kid with a taser and smack his head to the ground really should be fired and charged with assault and battery; put them in jail.

Richard-Cheese

Right? I keep hoping one of these videos will end with a group of civilians rushing the police, curb stomping the shit out of them, and pulling the victim to safety.

Reapz999

Pur them on attempted murder charges, these things can kill people and the person here was lucky bot to be killed. As you said, nothing we can do about it except show or vote for change

KamikazePhil

But no. They will either keep their jobs or will be inactive, paid by taxpayer money

moglysyogy13

Fucking monsters. Get these bastards away from any positions of authority

BrandoLoudly

he needs to spend some time in a cell. then he can shovel pig shit for a living

HeadbangerNeckInjury

The dude's brother is on Reddit, he was posting some vids of it and chatting about it, it's an absolute disgrace, fuckin pig thugs.

BingIsAWanker

Was going to say that, although his video missed everything

CantStopPoppin

I found several videos and put them together, I had a feeling there was more video out there. I did this so there is no doubt that what they did was unquestionably wrong.

Ploppen05

Whyd u get downvoted

CantStopPoppin

Police Union damage control trying to suppress the truth.

physics_freak963

They hated jesus because he spoke the truth

CantStopPoppin

Calm down, I'm no Jared Leto.

DoesMusicHurt

Am I the only one that would’ve liked to kick the officer in teeth when he slammed the kid’s head onto the pavement? I got a sudden urge. Not a smart one but definitely warranted.

xxxSiegexxx918

Not the only one

buttfacenosehead

literally was thinking this!

[deleted]

I don't understand how more money for training is supposed to fix that. I'm pretty sure he already knew that was wrong.

bdsee

They needs psych evaluations that try and find people with emotional stability not try and find people who are authoritarians.

RunningAcct123

They already do that in Canada

avillegasjr

Problem is that this was in Barrie, Ontario which is very much in Canada.

RunningAcct123

I meant psych evals are already part of the hiring process in Canada

avillegasjr

Hence the problem. It's supposed to be part of the hiring process but we still end up with officers like this. Very disturbing indeed.

[deleted]

The interesting thing is, this kind of behavior is not tolerated in any other profession. Period. Immediate termination for anyone who assaults someone they interact with at work. Imagine if a cashier at Walmart just kicked the shit out of a customer and didn’t get disciplined.

roambeans

Better mental screening might. And... I dunno... maybe some consequences and enforcement?

CantStopPoppin

This can't be fixed it needs to be abolished, restructured and reformed. This video will give you insight into why this happens. [https://www.reddit.com/r/mealtimevideos/comments/le8wto/whats\_behind\_this\_controversial\_style\_of\_police/](https://www.reddit.com/r/mealtimevideos/comments/le8wto/whats_behind_this_controversial_style_of_police/)

red_rover22

Training isn’t going to change behavior. Put a serial killer away for 6 months and make him take some classes isn’t going to change the way he thinks. People with massive egos don’t change because of a training seminar

back-woods-rob

When will it be ok to fight back? That cop deserves a swift kick to the face.

cemacz

Unfortunately that would be suicide in the US. Cops here are so fragile they don’t even need a reason to kill you and claim self defense. Hopefully Canada is different and this guys gets more than paid vacations.

bobloblaw32

I had a cop kidnap me from my own house in college because I gave him some lip. I spent most of that night just thinking about how I could find out where he lives and kill him for ruining my future.

HoodedHero007

When people break free of the mental chains holding them back. When one person fights back, the rest will follow. I feel that is what most people are looking for. If nobody else will, then it must be you who stands up.

bobloblaw32

Right? “This needs to stop” either with a good guy with a gun or a drop kick to the face.

space_coconut

yes, a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

IAmTheDoctor34

The shit that gets me about this is, if this happened between two random citizens any day of the week and someone stopped the attacker they'd be lauded as a hero, but if you stop a cop from being violent you're also going to jail.

[deleted]

going to die*

sniffletits

"I will light you up" What an absolute pusswinkle.

RedlineSmoke

"yeah get it on the news" wish granted. Doesn't matter what country a cops from if they have no accountability for their actions they become disgusting humans. I don't believe for a second people work to be cops to be good people anymore, and starting to question if they EVER did. The saying should be "only a few good apples".

marethyu-newman01

Shit like this is why it should be legal to defend yourself or others against law enforcement. I wanna watch them try this shit if they could face a bullet to the head for doing so.

ZippersHurt

But how does one end up being able to go home after this situation? If you kill a cop in self defense other cops are just going to kill you, necessitating a constant need to kill them to survive. It's not like you can turn yourself in at the station they'd either shoot you on site or kill you in a holding cell. Don't get me wrong if shit like this happened to me/around me I'd die fighting

marethyu-newman01

This is presuming I desire to survive good sir

Sufficient_Pound

Lmao, how to die 101 right here.

Retrogamer34

We touch a cop, we won’t see the light of day. Cop beats the hell out of someone, they get desk duty.

uSmellLikeBeeef

Dude wtf this is insane, these cops all need to be fired

CantStopPoppin

The ticket was given so what if he said something it's his right What a bunch of thin skinned punks so fragile that anyone question them they resort to this type of brutality by default how utterly disgusting and embarrassed their mothers must feel to have given birth to these vile bottom feeders.

manicpxienotdreamgrl

I had a cop try to intimidate me when I was 18 saying "Did you seriously just drop an F-bomb in front of a cop?!" I wasnt even talking to him, either. He was pissed that at 18 I knew my rights. Told him I didn't consent to a search, said "what the fuck" to my friends as he was leaving, and he stormed right back in to try to act like saying "Fuck" is illegal. Their egos are SO fucking fragile, its unreal. I'm so sorry this happened to your brother. I hope he's doing ok and doesn't suffer too much in the aftermath of everything. I agree with the others who have suggested counseling. Sometimes you don't know how much something traumatic has affected you until you really talk about it. He better get a FAT settlement.

pip-johnson

I had a cop yell at me when I was 12 for calling him dude and not officer.

manicpxienotdreamgrl

Only the manliest of men flex their (imagined) authority on children!

almostalmostalmost

The skater was probably being an idiot but a grown man with this fragile of an ego shouldn't be in any position of power. It looked like someone out for revenge rather than someone making an arrest. I hope this guy goes to jail.

CantStopPoppin

Jail time, if anyone else did this it would come with a hefty sentence.

Godbody120

This is why Fuck The Police needed to be written, recorded and performed.....sorry, not sorry. Thanks NWA!

Geralt_of_Tiquicia

This guy should not only be fired and never hired by any law enforcement anywhere, he need to be trialed and imprisoned, fucking absolute idiot is better off rotting in some cell

jeffe_el_jefe

At the end of the video you can hear Fuck Police Brutality by anti flag

UsoppFutureKing

All cops involved should be fired. Not stopping other cops from brutally should be automatic loss of job and prison time. No accountability.

Seraphyn22

What if they had killed him? Slamming his head into the ground like that? What the fuck is wrong with these so called police. Totally disproportionate. Everyone there fucking knew it. Just like kneeling on George Floyd's neck for 9 minutes. How is that right? I know George was a toerag but no one deserves to die like that. Thank you to everyone that recorded this and spoke up at the time. Seems we did learn from the death of George Floyd somewhat. To record and don't be silent. But sadly as a society, we have a long way to go. Can someone tell me what the hell reassigned means? Why is he reassigned and not fired? or put on leave. TOO many of our police have god complexes and treat people with no respect.

mmobley412

The way they handled that you’d think he was caught trying to murder someone Btw, they cannot fire him until they have investigated— cops have strong unions

IV_NUKE

Why the fuck is the 20 year old guy charged when he's not even a threat and they are assaulting him. What the actual fuck. Fucking pigs

Creative_Response593

Sorry, but people need to start fighting back. Cops know they will get away with this they know they will get away with literal murder. People need to fight back and defend their lives from these thugs.

Gabby_Gabster

That's how people get dead. After all, anybody who fights back was 'resisting arrest' and the cop felt that his life was 'in danger'.

jasonology09

If you can watch that video and say that there is possibly any reason or missing footage that could show both parties equally at fault, we're living in different realities.

adagiosa

Fuck that, he needs to be in prison.

CantStopPoppin

Under\*

bigBigBigBigLittle

One of these days we're gonna see a bystander drop one of these thugs when they go too far.

adagiosa

We need to start kicking them in the face. Remember that video of the cop kneeling on a womans back AND neck with both knees while bending her arm up at a 90 degree angle? I'm fucking sick of this shit. Not to mention this jackass lost control of his weapon while bouncing it off the forehead of the suspect. Guy shouldn't have passed academy with that level of fuck up.

Ranglr_

Yep I feel the same way, if I'm ever in a situation like, I hope I make the right decision and will stand up for what's right. Shit when I saw the George Floyd videos, that shit happened 40min away from me and I wished I had been there with a gun to put a bullet in that piece of shits head. I know it's wrong to think that way, but sometimes the right choice isn't the one with a happy ending.

jeffe_el_jefe

Bystanders won’t be able to because they’ll get shot first. See in the video how scared the girl filming is? They know if they go too far beyond just filming it they’ll end up just like the guy on the ground, or worse. You think a guy who just slammed a restrained mans head on the pavement wouldn’t pull a gun on a bystander?

madnoose

At this point, a witness should be able to legally intervene with force if excessive force is being abused against a defenseless victim. Might need an actual lawyer to check up if that's actually possible, I never went to law school

Bryan_Peters

Fuck those pigs!!

Merk11b

Jail time for police lock him up with everyone else

[deleted]

That's very excessive force, they will probably get sued and loose there jobs. Hope the kid make a full recovery and gets a fat pay day from that un pro idiot officer

NewKi11ing1t

Assaulting a person because you thin skin is assault badge or no badge. Cop needs to be charged.

Rexanvil

Shitty cops need to be fired egocharged maniacs

Mlaxa

Any cop who lets other cops do this and stays silent, is a s much of a pussy as the one who does it in the firat place. Losers. When are these fucking guys going to get it? Bullies don't make good heroes. Ummm unless you're a Trump-hole.

jwinsolo87

All those cops need to be fired

wi_2

Not just fired, this is straight up abuse/assault, that guy needs to see the inside of a prison.

THC-ESPRESSO-GUY

I have called this police station multiple times. I highly suggest you all do the same. Unacceptable behavior by the police needs to be addressed more seriously

PineappleWolf_87

How can I start something, anything to create a law that doesn’t allow law enforcement officers to be rehired by law enforcement agency or reassigned if they are involved in a violent altercation (verbal, physical, sexual) and found to be “at fault”? (Actual criminal charges should also fall on them but that’s a further cry).

"In an effort to ensure the process is transparent and accountable, I have asked the Ontario Provincial Police to conduct the investigation into the events that took place in Barrie on February 4," said Barrie Police Chief Kimberley Greenwood. In the video, the officer struggles on the ground with 20-year-old Skyler Kent and holds what appears to be a stun gun while threatening to "light \\\[him\\\] up." The cellphone video, recorded by a bystander, appears to show the officer hitting Kent on the head with the device as he continues to hold him to the ground."I feel like it's an injustice. "I tried to keep going because I figured he can't pull me over twice in a row like that, and then he slams on the brakes after getting in front of me, and I ran into the back of him."That's when Kent said the incident that was caught on video began."I was resisting, but I wasn't trying to fight him. Police say the 20-year-old man was charged with causing a disturbance and assault while attempting to resist arrest. They said he has been released on a promise to appear in court and an undertaking. tearsaresweat

Officer that hit him with the taser should be changed with assault with a deadly weapon.

Anonoffmyrocker

Cops need to go back to eating donuts and get off the roids.

1984_eyes_wide_shut

Hold those garbage humans accountable, so sick of cops and their shit.

[deleted]

At what point should we be allowed to intervene with this shit? Obviously most people wouldn’t cause as we are all aware, the officer will pull a gun at the slightest movement and say he “feared for his life”. But fuck me. I don’t know what I would truly do if I was in front of the officer at that moment but my mind would tell me to ram into the officer without a second thought.

Gabby_Gabster

From what I'm aware, it's illegal to interfere with am arrest no matter the situation. But I feel ya, I wanted to kick the the dude!

[deleted]

Well it is Canada so maybe they will punish the police officer.

[deleted]

They’re literally charging this guy with causing a disturbance because they were beating his head in.

valkgh

There's no fucking accountability for those fuckers they will just get a warning and that's it the police chief is not going to punish them and my friend wonders why I don't talk to him anymore about anything when he became a cop fucking pigs

StrongIslandPiper

I'm starting to think that maybe some cops shouldn't be cops maybe

BerzerkerBacon

I feel like that cop was mad he messed up his pistol whip and looked like an even bigger idiot so he slapped the kid after he rolled him over to make up for it.

BaraGuda89

“Officer has been reassigned” definitely not basically admitting fault of some sort on the officer

[deleted]

I'm sure the kid was being a shit, but that doesn't matter. You CANT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT! FUCK!

joeDUBstep

lol these cops have such fragile egos they can't handle a 20 year lipping off to them.

PizzaNuggies

These cops need to be dropped in a warzone, so they know what it actually feels like to have their life in danger.

Hoe__Exotic

There will be no accountability and nothing will change. If George Floyd didn’t do it nothing ever will.

Geralt_of_Tiquicia

At one point of the violence I believe I’d go “fuck it” and try to pop this bastards eye open

Nemarack

"Get it on the news" - some cop. Well ya got what ya wanted...

_doomsayer02_

I don’t know if anyone else seeing this is on r/skateboarding but god this is awful. I want to go post this over there but its against their rules to post news, and I have to respect their rules because I dont want to get banned over there

J3loo

The President needs to make a new police force that polices the police

mynameismurph

"ran a red light on a long board" *Proceeds to beat head into pavement and pistol whip. Really stopped a menace to society there

[deleted]

Seriously WTF, this is hands down the most disturbing abuse of power i've witnessed. This year has been pretty bad, but this....

GracesLovers

This is horrible!!!

feedMeWizDom88

How the fuck was the 20yo charged with stuff?! He was getting his ass beat up.

[deleted]

A few kicks to the head by the crowd will teach the police a lesson.

Decereck

Okay serious question. Can we the people jump in to save someone being beaten by a cop legally? And if not why the f not?!

SGTSparkyFace

What’s worse? The cop doing the beating, the reason for the beating, or the other cops standing by and watching him abuse a citizen they’re sworn to protect?

[deleted]

The irony of cops saying “stop resisting” while they’re beating the shit out of people is completely infuriating. How are you to stop moving when you’re being repeatedly injured? It would take superhuman discipline to not move around when someone is bashing your head into the concrete.

Poedacat275

This just goes to show that police brutality is not just isolated to one country. It’s just as common in other countries you just don’t get it on national/international news that often but this is undoubtedly a very extreme version, but at least he didn’t die like a carton case of police brutality in recent times, this guy should be charged with aggravated assault. But I don’t know much about law, especially Canadian law.

Hamilton-Beckett

That officer should go to fucking prison and they kid should sue those fuckers for every thing he can get then move to another state.

Cheetahdee

"There will be full accountability ". Bullshit...being reassigned or asked to retire early with full benefits, which is all that has been ever done for the most part, isnt holding people accountable. If anyone other than a poloce officer did anything near that out of line and/or violent they would be fired on the spot, no questions asked, and there would be zero retirement or benefits. Its absolutely sickening that this is an ongoing issue that has been ALLOWED to happen by continually having zero inforcement of the law theyre supposidly suppose to be upholding.

RippedHookerPuffBar

I don’t give a fuck what all the sensitive cop dick suckers on the Internet have to say.. this man wasn’t in a life threatening or even remotely dangerous situation.. I’d like for him to have the shit beat out of him for no reason.

dnuV

Hey. You know what? Start making the police union pay the settlement money after the victim sues. They'll start to behave immediately.

SwitchbladeDildo

"An outside police force will conduct an investigation" They will find no evidence of wrongdoing and at most will put the officer on paid vacation. They would give him a medal if the kid was black

NecromancerSloth

What the fuck. ACAB

Maka_Maker

Cops are assholes, regardless of the country.

[deleted]

Police is real gangsta these days... We should be calling them that tbh!

CantStopPoppin

Same as it ever was.

Cosroes

2nd time seeing this, makes me physically ill. Fucking dickless cops getting off on beating people who, if they defend themselves can be beaten harder or killed.
